  1. B&P re-opened today in France and I was able to order quite a few animals : stingray, hammerhead, otter patronus, dark green/sand green pteranodon* - and the chihuahua from the Newbury Abandoned Prison set. Interestingly, this chihuahua seems to have a different print from the one we already had. The one from the new set is listed as "DOG, CHIHUAHUA, NO. 3" with Design ID 69185 and Element ID 6312352 : While the older one is listed as "DOG, CHIHUAHUA NO. 1", with Design ID 19995 and Element ID 6102951 : I have not been able to find any "DOG, CHIHUAHUA NO. 2" though...
  2. And it's available again in France! I hope it's now open for all countries...
  3. Great group (or should we say herd?)! I found the Trolls centaur body too cartoony, but it does look good with the torso and accessories you chose!
  4. @Peppermint_M Thank you very much, it's crystal clear now!
  5. I'm sorry, I'm not sure to fully understand this requirement : does that mean that each entry must be built on top of a single 16x16 plate (e.g. a build on two different 8x16 plates would be NOK), or just that the size of the base of the build must be 16x16 studs?
  6. Glad to see Bob back! His new colleagues seem to have fun too, having their pause right beside that grumpy guard... @Grover, you are so good at adding little details and touches of humour to your builds.
  7. Thank you all for reading and providing such constructive feedback! @socalbricks I'm wondering too how things will go on for Varlyrio...Our four stories don't make it easy to understand who finally ends up as Rego! @mrcp6d Thank you very much, I'm really glad you like the plants! @Kai NRG As I had never tried SNOT techniques before, those rocks were a nightmare to build. I'm really glad you appreciate them! @kahir88 Thank you very much! @Garmadon Yes, those double arms come from a SW minfig (Rio Durant). I'm gad you like the cave, it does not add to the story but I felt the build was...empty without it. @Louis of Nutwood Thank you so much for your detailed review! The cloth background was a degraded mode...The build ended up too big for my usual grey photo background, and with the stores closed and the postal service not working normally, I have not had the chance to get a bigger one. Now I need to practice my photoshop skills to be ready if something like that happens again!
  8. Wow, this forest really looks deep and rather spooky, especially with the low lighting. Perfect illustration for your story! Nice use of the Ninjago snake guys too, their orange spike really add something to the overall mood.
  9. Oh my, that wolf looks really impressive! I too would be interested in seeing detailed photos of it. Like always, you did an amazing job with the rocks. I especially love the cave, with appropriate stalagtites and stalagmites. Congrats too on entering two builds for this challenge!
  10. So many intrigues and trahison in this story! And really a great build. The architecture of the houses looks gorgeous, and I love the details in the posing, such as that poor fisherman falling into water...
  11. This looks like a lovely place by day - nice canal with happy fisherman, pretty buildins, cosy promenade...but by night, it's indeed perfect for an ambush! Great build, and I really love how your photos illustrate the story with the lower lighting, and the action-oriented minifig posing. Well done!
  12. That's definitely a sensible explanation!
  13. Great story guys! @Puvel What a beautiful façade! I especially like the tiled frieze and the windows. @Ayrlego Impressive build on such a small surface! Perfect choice of color, perfect texture on the houses. The little balcony is gorgeous! @kahir88 Glad to see ships! Both aree very nice - I especially like the refined design of the Golden Fortune and its figurehead. @Garmadon Gorgeous room! The rounded walls look great, and the lighted stained glass add a lot of solemnity to this moment.
  14. What a beautiful chalet! You really nailed that architectural style. I especially love the use of the crossbow to decorate the roof, and the legs for the flower pots.
  15. Oh my, you Varlyrians are so complicated for the simple Midgardian villager I am! Thank you very much @W Navarre for the recap and explanations! I have not had time to read the Di Carlo and De Fiori whole stories yet, now I will read them in proper order and (hopefully) understand those complicated intrigues.
  16. That story may be long, but it's well written and very enjoyable! I had a very good time following Rufus' ascension from rookie soldier to Mad Rego. The only reservation I would mention is that I did not immediately recognised Gen. Baiamonte's skeleton : while the story made it obvious it was him, I would have been expecting the skeleton to wear the same armor and carry the same sword as the minifig in the first builds. But guys, you really did a wonderful job with both the story and the builds!
  17. What a lovely place! Well, if there were not a beast devouring the guards. I really love the variety of the house designs and colours, it makes the scene very life-like. Great design for the dragon too!
  18. Those are gorgeous ruins! I really like the deisgn of the standing pillar, and the way you built the remains of the fallen one. The result has a very pleasant texture!
  19. What an exquisite build! Your rockwork is gorgeous, and the dual-toned rocks and the transition from the muddy path to the pristine snow make for a very harmonious color palette. The door is very beaufitul too! Well done Louis, skol!
  20. @tafkatb Thank you! I like your idea of a food-themed fantasy characters serie!
  21. Wow! The little LEGO bear is instantly recognisable. I definitely agree with @deraven that the overall shaping is great. It looks as cute as the small one.
  22. I'm both glad and frustrated to see that many of the parts I'm interested in would be available through B&P! Let's hope the service re-opens soon...
  23. How nice! Both the build and the story. So many interesting details...I especially love the design of the desk, and the stuffed panther behind the ladder!
  24. Very nice build and minifig posing! Nice architectural choices too - that cool yellow looks amazing, and I love the chrome gold rings on the pillars.
  25. A rather poignant story! And a very beautiful build. I especially like the vines on the sand green building. The perspective is great too!
