  1. If it is any help, I recall there was a 3D model of the video game version available. Here it is (you can click on the 3D model button to view so): https://www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/design.page?idModel=15593 All I can say is that the structure inside is not that sturdy (like ye said) and it's very complex. Due to it, there is almost no room left in the captain's cabin. If you want an interior for minifigures, then I suggest you drastically chnage it, though I have no idea how could the structure be changed without any differences on the outside. Ye will have to break a few fortress walls for this project. I have a feeling that either Lego is making one Creator and one Ideas set with these classic themes or they might do something similar to Lego City farm, by making one new set every year.
  2. Seems like I might have started a little revolution over here @Mister Phes.
  3. Just one - a pirate pub.
  4. Also the 1934 Duesenberg Auburn convertible that Indy used in Temple of Doom, it's memorable enough. Honestly, I don't think it would be such a good idea to release a UCS vehicle, I would rather have a playset than a display piece.
  5. There were two, on with a ponytail and the other with long hair. They did, but not fedoras. My point is, this particular piece is closest to what could be expected for Indy.
  6. So, I recalled seeing a hat with hair combo from Lego not too long ago and after some digging I was right (I haven't read everything here so apologies if it has been mentioned before). Not particulary the right hair but still a good example of what to expect.
  7. Here's hoping Lego might release black hull pieces in more sets. Regardless, good luck on the project!
  8. Maybe it would be cheaper to make a brick-built hull. Would be a bit harder, sure, but you could possibly save money (at least that's the direction I have decided to take on my project ).
  9. I found two options after a quick search: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32878367552.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.76015f17NivzQf&algo_pvid=e97ff9d7-23a5-4c10-9446-8bd8b5ccd7f2&algo_exp_id=e97ff9d7-23a5-4c10-9446-8bd8b5ccd7f2-22&pdp_ext_f={"sku_id"%3A"65569969046"}&pdp_pi=-1%3B0.1%3B-1%3B-1%40salePrice%3BUSD%3Bsearch-mainSearch https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001639298168.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.76015f17NivzQf&algo_pvid=e97ff9d7-23a5-4c10-9446-8bd8b5ccd7f2&algo_exp_id=e97ff9d7-23a5-4c10-9446-8bd8b5ccd7f2-19&pdp_ext_f={"sku_id"%3A"12000016930446905"}&pdp_pi=-1%3B4.1%3B-1%3B-1%40salePrice%3BUSD%3Bsearch-mainSearch I can't promise you that anything will end well, proceed at yer own risk.
  10. I would love that, there is plenty to explore story-wise. Can't decide which one I like better - Indy or Johnny.
  11. Not sure what it means either, could be a joke or a good enough comparison. I did find a Reddit post which talks about similarities between two franchises.
  12. To be honest, I was expecting the theme to show up in 2023 as the film is scheduled for release around that time for now. It is quite a surprise for me that it's coming back earlier (definitely not complaining). I was referring to there being a chance of another wave which includes classic stuff, along with the 5th film sets.
  13. A bit late to all this as I just saw it, these are amazing news (if they're to be completely true in the end)! I have been waiting far too long (we all have ) for this theme to return. Might be thinking ahead of things, but I hope there will be a possibilty of another wave after this upcoming one.
  14. I think that a set like this needs no discussion to be released by Lego. Supported!
  15. First thing I picture in me mind is that Queen Anne's Revenge railing on the back, it would look better with smaller heads: Secondly, it could further decorate Cannibal Village: Of course, it can be used on Classic Pirates too.
  16. Nay, you're not alone. I really enjoy earlier City Advent Calendars from 2000s for nostalgia's sake, while they clearly are missing festive builds (with snow). I think best ones had to be from 2010 - 2018 (at least). Hopefully this new trend will change soon. Some of my favourites: Looking at it now, 2019 Advent Calendar wasn't that bad, it had some cool things in it, I suppose:
  17. Thank you. You can have minifigures like these, BrickLink is the best place to buy them. And I don't think it should be really expensive.
  18. @The Reader I managed to take a picture as promised: Haven't been really active lately, might be in few weeks, though.
  19. Hamster Productions was posting his progress on the film through YouTube Community feature, among the many posts was also the one with this magnificent vessel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2G8OFZHYoaMf6LWa5WLIPQ/community?lb=Ugx5K2rykvmaWKQaJSF4AaABCQ
  20. Have my hopes up for the Viking ship, would be a fine addition as I never got sets from 2005 wave. Shouldn't the new High-Speed Train be on this list? It is a Creator set after all, even if Lego thinks it's a Creator Expert one...
  21. Good job! Interesting choice of colour for the town hall, I adore Tallinn Town Hall for the fact that it is a medieval building, rather than typical Baroque building. This also makes me a bit jealous as there won't be a traditional Chistmas market this year in Riga. But hey, amazing job on this, it is recognisable as the actual building and for that, I praise you.
  22. I would say the the hotel itself could prove super useful for a pirate town (my knowledge on buildings is a little rusty but this building in particular could be used (possibly) for late 17th century).
  23. I thought I was familiar with such part but turns out that only halfly - it is a fake part that I have seen before. Never appeared in any Lego sets but looks like somthing from 80s. Just search "Lego 1x6 railing" on internet and it will offer ye few of them on sites such as Aliexpress...
  24. "Brick-Terre Tavern" by The Plastic Brick This MOC is designed with play in mind, so it is sturdy and provides access to the interior rooms. The building opens in the back and reveals a variety of scenes. I really enjoy the color scheme, brick arches, balcony and the details of interior. The little nook table with Redbeard is my favorite, though. More pictures available in Flickr album: https://www.flickr.com/photos/theplasticbrick/albums/72157720137483584
