  1. Ah, I forgot about Sarge. In that case, it could have been done, shame there wasn't a set of these vehicles.
  2. Aye, have seen this one. Thank ye!
  3. Oh, that could have certainly been made as a set. However, the Army staff car seems too much of a military vehicle (even for LEGO Indy standards ).
  4. Aye, a brick built flag with a crab in the middle wouldn't look so bad.
  5. I see, yer taking inspiration from all historic media that is available. Are you considering to build some MOCs based on the subject too? Thank ye! That be a rather good idea for their flag.
  6. This looks lovely, I like the drawings of those soldiers and ships. Certainly an interesting project. Good luck with that! Gives me an idea of building a pirate MOC in Tobago's Great Courland Bay. I am not sure how the connection with Lone Ranger might look like in this, due to Europe in 19th century being a little different from United States.
  7. What be that project about if I may ask?
  8. Ah, that brings back some memories. I used to play these games quite a bit back in the day, as I was discovering internet, which, to me was a new discovery. I know there is a website which does contain some of the fairly older LEGO web games (I forgot the name of it ), but it doesn't seem to include this game.
  9. Cut me in pieces and roast me alive! This be a beautiful entry! I was just discussing this and other sets from the last Classic Pirates line up few days ago, glad to see this one remade. An astounding job!
  10. Thank ye! As am I, love doing small set-like MOCs. Haven't tried to design one that could work as a bigger set, perhaps some time in the future.
  11. Thank ye! As I mentioned before, I replaced the barrel with that hidden crate underneath the rock. Had it not been for the fact that my build consists of 50 pieces, I would have added a barrel.
  12. They look like AI generated minifigures.
  13. Thank ye! Thank ye! I believe that the 1x1 slope piece can't fit inside the lantern piece (if that's what yer thinking). I thought of adding more gold but then the piece count would have been higher than needed to meet the standards of this contest.
  14. Thank ye! Indeed, I found the best way to remove the 2x2 slope is by pulling the handle down. I think that a 1x2 handle would be a bit too out of place, 1x1 handle blends in a bit better in this case.
  15. Aye, that be a really good set, I think it is one of the best smaller sets released during the original line up. To me, 6281 wasn't that bad, it felt a lot more as a natural Island rather than a base of some sort. Thank ye! Ah, I see. Will have to try doing that in the future.
  16. Oh my, thank ye so much for this! Just the way I imagined it. How on earth did ye manage to use the original background? May I use yer edited version as the title picture at the very top? Thank ye for the kind words and feedback! I figured that leaf piece should be in olive green to represent dry palm leaves, but I suppose a brighter colour could work too. Indeed, these were the last two years of the theme and I believe many people are not too fond of the sets released during this time.
  17. Aye, if ye wish. Thank ye for the kindness!
  18. I tried it with both Photoshop and Paint, failing to create a background. My editing skills are rather poor.
  19. That be an interesting idea. Aye, but LEGO seem to think different: (Taken from 10679: Pirate Treasure Hunt)
  20. Thank ye for the feedback! Besides the face not being perfect, I think the old bandana works better in general, but I decided to use the new one as the old bandana has been discontinued for far too many years (same could almost be said for the hat ). As for appealing, that would be nearly impossible when it comes to pirates. This particular design of the torch was also used in one of the new Indiana Jones sets, it be not perfect but for height reasons works rather well. Indeed, the idea was that the pirate could go on a completely different adventure, perhaps in caves, while using the torch.
  21. Not only on yer end, on mine too! I too see only the error, no idea what the issue might be.
  22. Bluebrixx seems to be becoming popular, as recently I have been hearing that name more often. That could happen, though it seems to me only as a gift with purchase.
  23. Foundations look really good, can't wait for the finished build!
