  1. Well executed! I like seeing backstage
  2. Looks awesome! The orange really stands out and the diagonal rockwork is a nice tough. Great usage on the goblets and window frames!
  3. Thanks guys! Was fun putting the minifigs together from lots of different sources (Splinter (TMNT), Speedy Gonzales, Scratchy (Simpsons) Crazy Bricks, BrickWarriors, etc). Wish the otter could be a bigger scale than the mice, but oh well!
  4. Gorgeous build, @CapOnBOBS! Great exterior and interior - the anvil and various wheel containers look good. Hopefully the DUPLO method saved you some time/bricks during the build! Some great building colors (bleys and tans) and terrain colors (green and lime) I would recommend cropping that first photo to center the build in the middle of the background - it's a disservice to leave it off-center like that! Glad you've got your bricks back
  5. After Brother Grundo failed to return from berrypicking by dinnertime, Matthias, Skipper, and Brother Rolf set out to find him before nightfall. There had been whispers from visiting voles that rats were about in Mossflower Wood. ----- This one started as an excuse to try some sand red mixed in with other strange colors in a landscape
  6. They are just pretending Corrington frowns upon child soldiers - you have to be at least 17 to join up! Unless you are a drummer boy and then you can be 13 https://allthingsliberty.com/2014/05/how-old-were-redcoats-age-and-experience-of-british-soldiers-in-america/
  7. Really sleek looking hull! Nice job
  8. Hope you're having a great vacation! There are a few types of travel/movement in the game, but the big difference is between your sigfig and ships/troops. Your sigfig can pretty much move about the Brick Seas magically with little regard for time and space. For the purposes of your story, you may want to map out a route using the available maps, or focus on a single region to make it plausible. During the recent almost war in Terraversa a number of our sigfigs appeared on the island from across the Brick Seas. Also, just because you called out Port Woodhouse in your intro story doesn't mean you have to build there first! And builds don't have to feature your sigfig at all! Lots of leeway Ships and troops can only move so far each game turn, so there are more rules surrounding that.
  9. Children of Port Woodhouse march along the beach, pretending to be soldiers of Corrington.
  10. "Playing Soldier" Children of Port Woodhouse march along the beach, pretending to be proud soldiers of Corrington. ------------------
  11. Happy to chip in some programming time / hosting if you want some help. I make web apps for a living Enjoy your holiday!
  12. I'm sure @Bregir or @Ayrlego will get you added to the faction PM chat soon! Have you thought about where Killian will venture first in the Brick Seas @lmcpicture and an initial build in Port Woodhouse @Justsomebrix?
  13. Thanks @Henjin_Quilones & @EVE!
  14. Welcome, @Justsomebrix! Great intro build and nice story!
  15. Thanks. As all of my builds are already broken down, I'd like to opt for the small bonus in score.
  16. Pretty sure my brother and I got these two for Christmas 1992 as kids: My older sister had the bluecoat sets before that
  17. Nice looking building! The siding really works in this setting
  18. Nice compact build with tons of vegetation!
  19. Neat concept with the connected rock outcrops! Looks good
  20. Interesting read I found here
  21. Thanks for signing up, @lmcpicture! Excited to see where Killian's adventure leads. You've posted in the old Era I thread - can you please repost your intro into the current thread found here?
