  1. Was rushed when I was commenting before - wanted to add that I love the mix of natural colors used in the woodwork, masonry, and roofing tiles
  2. Excellent @CapOnBOBS! I've been to a few alligator ranches in southern colorado and texas and you hit the nail on the head I love the half-submerged croc and the boardwalks FACEBOOKED!
  3. Awesome tall building! I love the lantern design
  4. This was my experiment from last summer with putting LEGO on a Duplo hull. I just added bricks/tiles/minifigs, and I'm sure a lot more could be done!
  5. Awesome idea and execution, @Ross Fisher!
  6. Nice work, @Wellesley! Based on your pictures and note on the Wullham settlement page, I am going to focus on the drydock/shipyard and immediate surroundings exclusively, and will not comment on the buildings. Thanks for choosing Wullham as a build location! I think this could work as a medium commerce - what do you think @Ayrlego? As a GoC build, it would be licensed by Corrington. I like how you have built the rolling waves with layered plates and wedges. The white caps there add some dynamicity. The round white pieces near the crashing shoreline are a cool technique! The brick-built sea birds and cannons add some fun and unusual details. The upside-down arches for the drydock bring some interesting textures because we can see into the inside of the bricks - great idea! The tan of the ground surrounding the drydock is pretty bare, and I'm actually glad for the line created by the joints of the large plates not lying flush with each other - the line adds some complexity to what would otherwise be a very large studded surface. The tiled light bley edging on the drydock looks great and contrasts well with the studded tan ground. As this build is mostly about the drydock, I'm not going to comment on the ship itself - but nice work there! Excellent initial rigging Great minifigs too. I'm a big fan of Corlander naval officers in blue. Some of the photos have non-LEGO parts of your room in the background that can be a bit distracting, but I think you make up for those photos by including plenty of other photos that don't. from me for GoC!
  7. Seems as though the Duplo desert folk are of a large stature
  8. What is this Terraversa you speak of?
  9. The general staff gathers outside a dilapidated building before the column sets out for an oasis 40 miles to the south. -------------------- Just an excuse to display a bunch of imperial admirals together and build some brick boots
  10. Thanks guys! Was a quick 1 hour build - could be fun to make a larger book with more details in the future
  11. Thanks for pointing out the animals guys! Looking forward to those showing up on Bricklink
  12. Fun story and nice extension on the original build to show more of the operation
  13. This is looking amazing guys! So many little details from many different perspectives
  14. Wanted to add that I also really like all of the details that make up the throne! Nice work @Ayrlego! I especially like the shape the wings create when the center is blocked from view like that.
  15. Nice build @Khorne! Good work with the (photoshopped?) signs and graffiti - they add a lot. Good textures and minifigs
  16. I figured I'd make a build in response! Thanks @Ayrlego and congrats to @Spud The Viking @Bregir @Brickwolf @Mesabi!
  17. Following Queen Annetta's proclamation in Belson, ships carried word east to Terra Nova. The first ship to reach Terraversa was a sloop with grayish sails. It made its way down the western coast and around the southern horn before making port in Westface. There, letters were dispatched to Colonel Allcock, Lord Spud, Don Montoya, and Captain Brickleton. Brickleton read the letter in disbelief. For his efforts in re-evaluating the defence of Elizabethville, establishing a settlement on the island of Panarium, participation in the Terraversan campaign and presence at the Pamu peace conference, the queen had made him a Knight Companion of the Order of the Compass Rose. From now on, he would be Sir Jonathan Brickleton. While his father had achieved great prestige and high rank within the Corlander armed forces, this was the first title bestowed upon their family. OOC: A quick build to celebrate all of the knighthoods granted in Queen Annetta's proclamation. Thanks @Ayrlego and @Bregir! OOC Update: Settled on the trans wine glasses for the path of the ship after trying a bunch of other small elements (minifig hands, red axles, bars with clips, antennas) - the others all looked too big/opaque for something this small
  18. Nice build @NOD - Poppy Port sure is growing quickly! Good mix of wood and stone elements in the build. Does stud.io let you build bent palm tree trunks (I've never used the software)?
  19. Great job! Lovely angles, textures, and techniques. The year of work you put into it shows!
  20. I really like the horizontal depth the SNOT-ted tiles on the wall create - it's comparable to using jumper plates to set a wall panel back. The dark orange also nicely complements the rb. Nice battle horn and table design! The one thing that sticks out for me in a ambivalent way is the lavender plant stem - seems like they let the plant die!
  21. Great job @CapOnBOBS! I love the rope machines (and the cupcakes on top of the spools). Buildings look great too - massive size!
  22. Great little compact build! Tons of good details for such a small footprint. The bright light orange looks good here and I can just barely tell it isn't regular yellow Good call with the outdoor oven!
  23. This build has been licensed as a large artisan in Westface
  24. I think you should reach out to @Ross Fisher to see how your idea could fit with his (I think it could). I'm in for ETTC builds for CAT E!
