  1. The reeds look great! Nice use of the sand green telescopes there
  2. Hey @CapOnBOBS - They are from the BrikBlok Toy Store on AliExpress. That store makes all sorts of cool custom stained glass windows and floor tiles. The floor tiles range from classical to modern. Here's a link: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000973275889.html?spm=a2g0o.store_pc_allProduct.8148356.3.4c353fd052GGJM Make sure you get enough of the tiles as it take 2 - 3 months to get to the US!
  3. Great build @NOD!
  4. Lovely work with the lighting and interior. Exterior textures look great too!
  5. Thanks! It was a rush job because I had an hour to make it and take the photo. Glad it worked out to fit some many different uses in! Thanks! It isn't especially strong, but it looks cool My favorite was the doorknob, though it's hard to see. Thanks! The robes are from the "plague doctor" figure available on BrickWarriors. They are meant to be black, but when I saw the brown variant knew it was time for monk habits! I've used them on some Redwall builds too. Thanks! I haven't had any time to flesh out Ninian and you are welcome to do so if you'd like. The name came from some Redwall books I am reading with my kids (Saint Ninian's)
  6. Haha funny story, nice build, and excellent head choice
  7. Gorgeous! Nice job. Did you sticker or print that large bluecoat banner? It looks great The pictures are very bright! To the point they look a little washed out
  8. Welcome back! Nice story and figure posing
  9. Ninian's Priory in Breshaun, small cultural, evancelt
  10. [COR - Faction Flavours] Ninian's Priory, Breshaun | Oleon Entry
  11. Thanks so much! I think of the 4 submissions I've made so far for the mini-challenge, this one is my favorite
  12. "Enough is enough, Brother Phillipe!" "When you joined our order you agreed to shave your head." "I don't know what Bishop François had you doing in Terraversa, but you've been back in Breshaun for 3 weeks and it's time to cut your hair!" ----------------------- Submitted as a Oleon entry in the Faction Flavours Mini Challenge. Though a bit of a rush job, it was fun to discover goblets have a pin hole in the bottom, fit a round plate base in the top, and can be tesslated together! Can you spot the 9 uses of the element? Some are pretty hard to see. Isn't it interesting these simple monastic brothers have so much gold? Licensed as a small cultural building in Breshaun
  13. Excellent dance scene! I've been looking at how to make dance posings for a Western MOC I'm working on and your first shot if one of the best I've seen.
  14. Nice job - looks like a bustling scene there at the bottom! I like those torch / sconce pieces you have toward the top - are those 3rd party? Some interesting head choices! The guy with the blondish hair brown tricorne hat combo has a black beard, which is a little weird looking These are the first sepoys I've seen with red hair Like @blackdeathgr said, the twisted columns and overhang are nice touches!
  15. Glad to see Captain Keats make another appearance! The yellow and med nougat work really well! And the regular nougat complements the tan well too. Nice work! I'm a big fan of the brown tricorne and new redcoat torso combo we have going on in Brickford Landing
  16. Wonderful colors @CapOnBOBS!
  17. Nice! Definitely looking forward to the additional images The red/dark red mottling looks great and like @Garmadon said, the dark bley is dark enough to frame the reds and the light bley really well Fun seaweed tree and inverted tile cobbles! I also really like the white door and brackets for hinges. A for GoC from me!
  18. Really nice build - the headlight bricks are a fun addition as mail cubbies! Great job with the mangroves and angle of the building. The lower shutters help give the building a weightier base - I could imagine the top looking chunky if the upper windows also had them. This way the contour of the house is smaller toward the top. Love the turtle! Definitely a from me for GoC!
  19. Fun to see the microfig look huge! Agree that the flame water splash is super fun, and the pulley looks good too!
  20. Nice goblet usage! I second @Garmadon in really liking the plant design Having the 1x1 square tiles slightly twisted helps the cobblestone look a lot Yay boot pants!
  21. I like the shape of the building and the pulley usage. The gray roof on the red building isn't doing it for me though - I think if it was all dark bley instead of light bley mixed in it would look better with the red maybe?
  22. Interesting goblet usage! Cool-looking organ and floor design. I also like the wall sconce design
  23. Nice write up! Thanks for putting it together. After this drama-filled read, no news is good news for Wullham!
  24. Meant to add: would love to see this!
  25. Thanks! Yeah I hadn't found a reason to use all of the seagulls in a single build until now Most of the dress minifigs are stickered, but I think they are era-appropriate. Thanks! Went with dark bley to increase the contrast with the white birds Ah hah! You guys noticed! I used plates, tiles, and slopes to cover most of the open studs on the rocks but left some key ones bare to represent strategic rock faces that had been weathered away by acidic bird poop. It's a weird natural phenomenon I noticed while visiting rocky coasts in Maine. Ideally the bricks would have been splattered with White-Out but I wasn't ready to commit to that
