  1. Hmm, not over the moon with this. That Challenger is is a huge step backwards compared to 2020 releases. More Creator than SC in my eyes. Only saving grace is it’s so flat and slab-sided, it’s a quick conversion for the old skool 6-stud fans.
  2. F1 cars are beginning their 2021 reveals right now. Plenty of options for a manufacturer two car combo. Mercedes/Ferrari would be most probable (and most marketable) but least thrilling. Aston or Alpine would be unlikely but awesome!
  3. Loved the original 8-wide releases. This 2021 wave looks/sounds even better! Can’t wait!
  4. What’s with all the references to the James Cameron movie? I fail to see the relevance, especially as this will be nowhere near minifig scale and will therefore not have any ‘characters’.
  5. If rumour is true, this will be a Day 1 buy for me. For the dramatically offended folks, I don’t recall a backlash on space shuttle models due to the Challenger disaster.
  6. ‘Andles! For forks! ? Pretty sure that's the world’s first Lego review with a Two Ronnies reference. Insanely good write-up btw.
  7. But what has vitreolum ever done for us?
  8. That said, it would not be a massive effort to have ‘alternate bodies’ available as a one-click option on TLG’s own pick-a-brick site. Offer these with a 25% discount over the equivalent bought individually total and I reckon they’d still see a decent profit.
  9. Classic Volvo 850 touring car? Talking of licences, there’s obviously potential to exploit the Land Rover connection too now. As an aside, I was initially lukewarm on the Nismo but have to say, for me, it was the most satisfying build out of all the 8 stud cars so far.
  10. Can’t see TLG pushing out a second Nissan so soon. I’d suspect a classic Porsche will receive the 8-wide treatment. And given the recent history, the Bugatti Centodieci or Chiron Pur Sport.
  11. Arocs Seen on the walls of thousands of teenage boys’ bedroom walls........never. Bring on the Sian....with all it’s (perceived) flaws....and bring on the subsequent mods and improvements too.
  12. I was wondering if 24 Hour Race Car (42039) Bright Green could be an option? Gotta be better than Olive! Would also look spectacular next to anything built from 42056 Orange!
  13. Orange bricks: Check Confederate flag and ‘01’ decals: TBC
  14. Nice! Lunchbox or Wild Willy next?
  15. VW Group, not Lambo. I have nothing against the olive green. I’d go as far as saying I quite like it. But there’s no way TLG will release the Sian in such a utilitarian colour.
  16. Lego: Hi VW. Here’s our awesome new design for the Sian. Now, we need to talk colours. We were thinking ‘olive’. All the AFOLs (who will overwhelmingly criticise this model and pick over all it’s perceived shortcomings) REALLY want this colour. They won’t actually build your Sian of course, but they will buy select parts to build a vehicle which is the polar opposite of a Lamborghini. Oh, and fantastic news! The Sian will be only the SECOND model to use this super colour, behind the model we released for one of your competitors a few months ago. Everyone LOVED this colour! Apart from the ones that didn’t. VW: Errrrrrrr..........
  17. Given tiny proportions and the front trunk/boot, I’m assuming this is a return to the usual classic ‘non-steering’ Creator Expert format?
  18. Those are classic Tamiya Vanessa’s Lunchbox tyres/rims!!
  19. “I let my mind wander, and it didn’t come back”
  20. Thanks! Just picked up as late-notice Santa gift for my lad.
  21. Chiron £175 delivered on Amazon UK right now. Pic link
  22. Sheesh. I get the AFOL perspective but, c’mon, your average 9 year old would pick this over that boring fugly grey Liebherr monstrosity digger thing every time. I would too ?
