Nice job! You did a great job of capturing the look of Dagobah in your vignette.

This poly at was extremely popular here in the U.S., and for good reason. It's a fantastic little parts pack with a solid army-builder type of minifigure. If you didn't find one when it was released last year, it's highly unlikely that they can still be found out "in the wild".

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
The_Chosen_1 replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
No, I completely agree. It's frustrating that so many fantastic characters are released as unattainable exclusives. It's very disheartening as a fan. One exclusive minifigs I could understand...but four?! It's tough to stomach. -
Boy, the reviews are so polarized on this one. I've tried not to be swayed one way or the other before I see it, so I'm excited that I'll finally get a chance to tomorrow.

My wife and I are definitely going to see it this weekend. We were planning on seeing it sooner, but some other things came up.

Also, I would personally purchase a second Black Gate set and sell off any unwanted minifigs. You shouldn't have too much trouble unloading Aragorn, Gandalf the White, and Mouth of Sauron since all are exclusive to the set.- 7,499 replies

^ Film release dates are set years in advance. Besides, the summer movie season means that any given film is bound to face stiff competition no matter the weekend it's released.

I was excited to we what the centerpiece for the new Kingdoms line would be, and I have to say that I'm a bit let down by this. I think I'll get a second Helm's Deep set instead.
-
I wouldn't be surprised to see a few Revenge of the Sith sets as well, since the 3D releases of AOTC and ROTS were originally scheduled for release within about 2 weeks of each other. Lego probably had some ROTS sets well into development when word came down from Lucasfilm that the re-releases wouldn't be happening.

Just ordered a second Battle at the Black Gate for about 20% off on YoYo.com with coupon code FIREWORKS. I've ordered from them several times in the past -- highly recommended!

Still waiting on some kind of "official" announcement about this, with info on U.S. price and availability. -
^ I'd be highly skeptical about Richard Attenborough returning. He'll be 90 years old in August and has been retired from acting for nearly 10 years.

Does watching a Star Wars film inspire you to buy Lego?
The_Chosen_1 replied to RednWhite's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This topic is quickly straying into "I hate the prequels" territory... To answer the question, watching the Saga definitely makes me want to buy the latest wave of sets. Since most Star Wars sets usually shoot straight to the top of my "must-have" list anyway, I wouldn't say that watching the films changes my desire to buy a particular set, but it does reinforce the decision. 10236 is a great example of that; I was already dead set on buying it when it was announced, but watching ROTJ the other week only made me imagine the possibilities even more. -

Yes! That is the perfect hair for Theoden. I was actually thinking about using that exact hairpiece, and I definitely will now that I see how accurate it looks.- 7,499 replies

Where Does My Money Go To When Buying a LEGO Set?
The_Chosen_1 replied to Brickstarrunner's topic in General LEGO Discussion
^ With Lego sets, though, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the wholesale price to retailers is above 50%. TLG knows full well that their product moves off the shelves; they can (and should) drive a higher margin than 50%. -

Great work, Missing Brick!! I hope to do some kind of back wall mod for my Orthanc eventually.

Picked up the Kamino, Coruscant, and Asteroid Field planet sets. I do hope they make more of these beyond Series 4.
