  1. Very nice city layout! At first I thought the heater was a large building with columns...it blends in well!
  2. That looks really nice with those decals!
  3. Thank you! I spent a lot of time combining various elements of English place names to come up with one that I liked. I had finally settled on "Abbot's Glen," thinking that sounded English, rural, and generic, and had a nice Medieval sound to it. Unfortunately, checking Google Earth revealed that that name was already in use...by an "inappropriate" resort in Vermont! Meeting someone named Stuart gave me the last bit of inspiration, so I changed it to "Steward's Glen" at the last minute!
  4. Looks excellent - I love the sand green for the boiler and all the attention to detail!
  5. Now that looks like something from the diabolical mind of Sam Sinister, and very much in keeping with the 1920s feel of the theme! Nice work!
  6. I would be interested to see what regular green would look like. Perhaps you could post a side-by-side of your GN atlantic for comparison? You're right that both colors are darker in real life. I've seen an older GN model by @zephyr1934, linked here, that used sand green. It's a surprisingly good match for the faded paint of an engine that has been exposed to the elements. It might be worth a shot.
  7. That's a great creation - and congratulations on being featured in Brickvault's latest video!
  8. That's incredible! The overall proportions look nice and the interior detailing is great. I don't know, having a game of billiards while the train is moving might make for some interesting wagers!
  9. I didn't even know he had a name!
  10. Thank you! I'm from the good old U.S. of A...I'm just a bit of an Anglophile!
  11. Thank you! Thanks, and welcome to Eurobricks!
  12. What a great little scene! That's a clever use of the upside-down bricks for the towers.
  13. Some set ideas: The front half, and only the front half, of the Invisible Hand, with Anakin, Obi-Wan, the Senate, and R2-D2. UCS Willrow Hood's Ice Cream Maker (life size) Death Stick Pushers Battle Pack
  14. Excellent work!
  15. That looks amazing! The detailing is really top-notch!
  16. @Feuer Zug Thank you!
  17. Nice! I really like the brick-built lettering and the different aspects of construction at the railhead.
  18. Excellent work on the windows and the locomotive as a whole!
  19. Great work! I like the sloping firebox and small secondary cab.
  20. Very recognizable! Great work!
  21. Thank you! I agree that a tiled roof would look better. One of my self-imposed constraints with this build was to only use parts that I already had, so I reluctantly stuck with studs. Thank you! Thanks! I think a different roof style would have looked better too, if I had 264 1x2 tiles! @Brandon Pea @zephyr1934 @Jerry McGlade Thank you! Thanks! Every station needs a place to eat and pass the time, because trains are always late! @The Reader @Asper @carebear Thank you!
  22. That's fantastic! I like the SNOT windows and the detailing around the couplers and bogies.
  23. Here's a fictional English branch line station, set on the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway in the early 1920s. It features interior and exterior lights, a removable roof, and my first fully tiled platform. Trackside view - the switch for the interior light is above the side window. Street side view: The switch for the exterior lights is just below the window. The interior - the brick-built doors open and the central floor plate is removable to access the battery. The phone box is based on the early K1 type, introduced in 1921 (when the L&YR was still extant). And finally, a couple shots with a train. The locomotive is based on the L&YR Class 27. Thanks for looking! Soli Deo Gloria
  24. Very nice! I like all the details in the kitchen!
  25. That coach looks good so far!
