I can live with flat silver. Spoken for myself, I'm surprised that I don't have any problems with white TIE fighters. If someone had told me two years ago I would have gone mad about it. Still I prefer the black panels, but the white doesn't make them look odd. I just hope they'll get more creative on them than just add a swivel gun. I love the whole TIE concept and how one can play around with it making always new models.

Wow. I think I love that boar even more than the figure. That head is stunning and just perfect. But you did of course a great job on the king under the mountain too.

I guess disney wants to put the PT in the Background and concentrate on things that connect the original films with the new trilogy. Their strategy is going back to the roots.

Wonderful, so much beauty and art with relatively few parts. You truly do your name credit, as always master Legonardo!

I don't believe they will make a whole wave exclusive about Rogue One. It is just one film with probably less main characters than episode VII, and it's directly connected to Episode IV, so it's unlikely that they make a whole bunch of new ships and speeders and walkers instead of using the established vehicles that are common at this point of the story. I can't think of more than three sets, much like Iron Man 3 as Marvel stand alone film got 3 sets, while Age of Ultron makes up a whole wave (like a new star wars episode would do). And we may not forget that Lego cannot do only new stuff, people are always waiting for new versions of AT-ATs and snowspeeders.

Special forces TIE fighter probably means that it will be the new TIE with small window and that giant gun shooting the trailer. It's obvious that such a model requires more parts than the standard TIE.

Dear USFoLs, Don't fear those prizes. It's easy: I assume these are only the french prizes, therefore the german prize for e.g. the falcon will be 150 €. And you only have to change '€' into '$'. 150 bucks. That's it. Yes, in fact we are paying more than you. That first concept was made by Joe Johnston and the idea behind it was to use the Y-wing's cockpit as speeder. I doubt this will be the First Order vessel. And I really don't want reuses of mcquarrie concepts in the new film. It is a neat thing about rebels that they make it look like mcquarrie's legendary artwork. But for the film I want to havea few new vessels. It's okay to use the TIE fighter. And I can't really complain about the white colour; and to have new versions of stardestroyers and stormtroopers is just logic. But to convince me they have to offer me new ideas that I can fall in love with. And I guess they know that. I mean, the ball astromech, the shuttle, the first order transporter, those are all new. So why shouldn't that snowspeeder?
-
You're aware it's episode VII? We have not the slightest idea yet what a first order snowspeeder is supposed to look like. It definitely won't be a episode V hoth speeder!

There are no restrictions against necromancy in Nocturnus! And new vampire lords are always welcome. The war will last another month, until first of july. But the hot phase, category c, is nearly done. You can still join and concentrate on cat a, b and d. -
Some of you are probably aware that the canonical Sith planet is now called "Moraband", since there was a completely dumb and unnessecary Yoda story line in TCW, that now sadly counts more than decades of awesome EU stuff like KotOR. I just deny it. For me, that planet will always be KORRIBAN. So please, Josh, secure us that planet at least in this game by adding it to the index by its old name.

Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka — Introduction and Discussion

I was wondering if we will have a break from episodes until the star wars contests will be over? -
Haha maybe easiest solution. No cheekbones for Penny and Sheldon. That's weird in a time where a Luke Skywalker fig has enough for two. This way the Sheldon fig doesn't match the sexy praying mantis look we all want to see. But I will buy it without any doubt. Even if it's just for the pure existence of this set. It still feels so unlikely. If ever one will ask if Lego isn't for kids, I will just say "ask them" and point at this set on my shelf.

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Then why are you supporting Ulandus? Well, if the desert king really will win the challenge, he would at least be a righteous and benevolent king who is native Kaliphlinite. But the Black Spire is a mean gang of looters. We may be foes yet. But you may support our cause in challenge V. I would be glad to team up with you :) -

Yes. And Nocturnus now suffers from occupation of cowards and marauders who hide in their bloody black needle. In challenge V, we will free our ancient and exalted homeland. The noble lords of the true Nocturnus will stay united behind the coat of red and gold and hunt those of black and white down, till death and beyond! This I swear by the horned rat, by the dead, the undead and the living people of Nocturnus and by every sword ever swung in battle. I shall never rest until Nocuturnus will be free. So spoke Osric, the rat. -
Strange- I hear no complaints about Watto being included. Speaking for myself, I find that a bit odd. Of course it's the only chance for TLC to use that mold for a long time, since there probably won't be episode I sets the next time, and people have a second chance to grab it- but if context doesn't matter, there would have been plenty other possibilities for figs. The build itself is not as bad as the second version, but there's simply no room for slopes in the infiltrartor's design. It's snot is flat, and normally that should be a gift to the responsible designer, because it would have been so easy to make an accurate flat snout that matches the elegance of the ship. They probably don't dare not to use slopes, because someone thinks it would look boring and uninteresting, or like it would have a lower piece count. That makes me sad. Qui Gon with poncho is a nice addition, but feels like

Strengthen your rebel forces with the all new rebel special troops battle pack! Let the Bothan spy infiltrate imperial facilities, or use the rebel smuggler to repair the FX medical droid, while the heavy rebel trooper takes care of enemie's vessels. The mighty Wookiee Warrior can stop a whole battallion of stormtroopers! The GNK droid provides new ammunition for your weapons. The rebel combat speeder is an excellent craft for scouting! Your troops' special weapons can be mounted on the rear of the speeder. Each of your troopers is a specialist on his own domain! The set contains: *four minifigures: Bothan spy, Wookiee warrior, rebel smuggler and heavy rebel trooper. *two droids: GNK droid, FX medical droid. *rebel combat speeder. * special weapons for each figure, such as Bothan incinerator, Wookiee bowcaster, and shotgun. *isnpired by the video game Star Wars Battlefront and Star Wars Battlefront II Bothan Spy and Wookiee Warrior! Rebel Smuggler and Rebel Heavy Trooper! GNK Droid and FX Medical Droid! Rebel Combat Speeder! Choose your weapon and mount it on the speeder! Thanks for watching! The speeder is inspired by this one. Since I did never own Battlefront I I'm not sure it showed up there. But I know it was at least originally designed for the game. The droids and the speeder together have a piece count of 102.

To sack some of the last remaining cities held by Ulandus, Lord Osric ordered his men to build an excellent new siege weapon- a trebuchet of enormous reach. It works!
