Wonderful build. That's the perfect mix of the two architectural designs. Great use of the Ninjago windows.

Great idea of that suit! I also like the idea of DK and first centurion combatting. The colour sheme looks very noble with the white and sand green. And these patterns with "U" are a superb touch too.

[WZ17:O17, Desert King] The Titan's Head
Jacob Nion replied to Jacob Nion's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thank you so much! Ye that bothers me too. But I was struggling to improve it. Also I had to make a visit in Auner and that took time. How macabre next to the burnt inn? -
Thanks everyone very much for commenting! Damn you guys find everthing. Devil's in the details. I guess robuko's explanation is the best It had to open. Otherwise you couldn't look inside It was really fun to measure up Kai's inn and think about how to transform it into a ruin. Kai, we could totally enter category a with these. So are you sir!

When the High Council was nearly defeated, the Desert King gave explicit order to spare the brave Kaliphlinite soldiers. Maybe they would soon realise that the real threat was Ulandus and raise their swords in the name of their true king. Osric ordered his men to establish field hospitals for the High Council troops that had been wounded during the hard battles in the north. The desperate and exhausted men who had witnessed the greatest sorrows of this war took the unexpected help thankfully. Some friendship beyond all guild politics were established these days, friendship which can only grow on sharing the same sorrows.

And who are you, the proud lord said That I must fear your breed? Only a rat of an eastern coat, That's all the truth I know. In a coat of gold and a coat of red, Your rats maybe have swords. But mine are long and sharp my lord As long and sharp as yours. And so he spoke, and so he spoke That lord of small Auner. But now the rains weep o'er his inn With no one there to hear. Yes now the rains weep o'er his inn And not a soul to hear.

The Titan's Head

The nightmare began at the edge of night. Thousands over thousands were assembled at the Rakath, an army large enough to conquer an empire. But it was all about one city. That was all the troops had been told. Ancient, powerful weapons had been handed to some captains and high lords. So to Osric. The Pharao himself had chosen him for this mission. A herald had been arrived in the morning, telling that the rat lord should rallly his bravest men and meet the reserve troops at this place. Then he received this shiny golden spear. It was too heavy and unbalanced for battle. Osric turned his eyes away from the magic spear. Without a noise a hooded person had appeared. His face was covered and there seemed to be no light reflecting from his eyes. It took a whil until Ostic realised he was whispering spells. What was the purpose? Maybe just another so called grand master of witchcraft who had promised the Desert King to make his armies invincible by brewing a potion that turned out to be made of garden herbs. But then suddenly a pale light of dawn appeared. But it was not the dawn at the feet of the Rakath. It was the dawn over Ulandus... Osric led his men through the portal right into the heart of Xersia. They reached an arena and immediately knew their target. In the centre there was a large altar, and on the altar laid a giant, tremendous skull. This was the skull of a titan. Eons of millennia ago cut off in a cosmic battle, it had fallen right on the land that would once become Ulandus. The mean looking eyeholes were inflamed by an ardent burning red fire, like it were the gates to the deepest hell the gods had ever created. The titan's soul was still captured in the skull. This had to be the first centurion's source of power. Soldiers in black armor arrived, members of the mysterious sixth legion. Osric did not waste any time and climbed on the skull. When Osric stabbed the ancient spear into the bone the sky turned into black. A terrible moaning came from the skull, the flames began to flicker unsteady and wild. Then a groan- and the skull imploded. The soul of the titan was unleashed at last.

Well I enjoyed the story until this point. But killing our leader? Really? He is immortal. That's a fact given by Ska's prelude story. I find that just inappropriate. What do you expect would happen? He would just throw the musicians away without a single scratch. We did not just go to Xersia assassinating the first centurion. We had to open up a whole warzone just for the chance to ban him for a few days. That's not about your build though. It's all first class and wonderful to look at. But that story is just not right for me. -
There it is! And it is as splendid as expected. A tremendous example that Nocturnus is more than just ash, smoke and swamp. A beautiful and wild countryside. I especially like how everything is embedded in the woods without disturbing the landscape. Really amazing work. Hail Nocturnus the beautiful!

I would definitely take eight! This bp belies everyone who said the senate debates of the prequel trilogy were boring. And a pie launcher! That's so brilliant yet obvious. And nobody thought of it earlier?

I can say I have fun with this challenge. I love the way you explained how DK armies could infiltrate the city. And these magic objects are a brilliant idea. I would net claim that title though if I was winning. "Harnesser of great light" is something for elves and white wizards, not for Nocturnians

Flick fire missiles and superjumpers- you're not going to make many friends with these. But it's definitely something Lego would produce. And I like tge idea of another SWTOS battlepack. Especially including a Sith warrior is a good thing.- 8 replies

Lord Osric himself traveled to Sandsend to convince lady Phlici of ending her resistance. Fortunately Centurion Lat've was having a little accident, so that Osric could use his highly seductive charme on the fair lady "Lord Osric, draw me like one of your Nocturnian girls."
