Warzone 12: Battle for the Great Loop
Jacob Nion replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
The Rice Fields -
Osric and his troops travelled for days through the marshes, without seeing anything but endless wheat fields. Then, the landscape changed abrupt. The ground became muddier and finally was covered with shallow water. Line after line rice was growing in it. The only way through was a small embankment. It was hard to tell how many miles they marched until a small wooden pike glimpsed on the horizon. Obiously it was a watch tower to oversee the area. In the marshes it didn't have to be high to discover in moving troops. When Osric could see the tower, the garrison probably had already noticed the rats. There only chance was to sprint as fast as possible. OoC: this was an uninspired build. The tower was originally supposed to be part of an Esgaroth house. I find it a bit boring, hope you can enjoy something about it though.

Great pics. I especially like the fourth one. It's very dynamic and thrilling. Good work! I will follow yourstory. -
Imho the mirrors are making the base invinite, so their should be no size limitation :P Give me a base big enough, and I'll show you what Nocturnus sets against your bling bling army.

That was no criticism on Kai; he did the counters for his team and that's an impressive job. And of cozrse that should be reqarded. But with the current point system the point value is probably too much distorted.- 272 replies

You had the opportunity to build several counters a week. That generates a bunch of points, even if not all of them are successful.- 272 replies

Book II, Chal IV - Kaliphlin Civil War (Results Posted)
Jacob Nion replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
That is a great idea, sir! It would force everyone to put enough effort in his builds. Also imho there's still imbalance between personal points for GAs and warzones. One can gain three points by only making a guerilla, regardless of size or quality, that's at least one point more than posting a wz entry. And a successful guerilla generates more points than making the highest rankimg entry for a warzone. Maybe there should only be points when the guerilla is successful, or at least only one point.- 272 replies

My dear Lord Vladivus, once the war has ended, we should build a trade route between Shadowmere and Skavenport (when I'll finally have founded it). Your faithful Lord Osric. -
[WZ7:E8 Desert King] The Baths of Queenscross

This is your greatest entry so far! There are so many aspects about it I love. At first I find it a great choice of location for the warzone. He wall is wonderful, also the roof. And I like the water with the flowers. Everything is perfectly executed and composed. Really stunning work. -

Great posing. The hut is well done. I only would suggest to put it on tiles instead of studs.- 15 replies

This cracked look of the road fits perfectly what I imagined a road must look in the desert. The sand is also nicely done. -

One question about cat b: is it common for this category to post all mocs and the whole story or is it also legal to post every build + part of the story in a thread onf its own and at the end link everything here in one post?- 272 replies
