  1. No stupid questions! But on the racing and rallye cars, there have been real brands like Panasonic and ABB (Jaguar Formula E), Castrol (Ford WRC & Ford GT) and lots of other too as stickers.

  3. thanks, and you are right about the Ferrari, it is very square - 7pin wide would be a challange :)
  4. I very occasionally order any elements, but I just love to follow this thread!
  5. I have posted a few of my cars in this thread; I'd love to get some feedback!
  6. Hi, Since I got the first 8-wide Speed Champions - it was the 1985 Audi Quattro - I have been modifying my collection of 6-wide Speed Champions. In this thread I will post them, but feel free to post your own too! 7. Thanks, I'd did not really think of that. I'm currently rebuilding the Bugatti Chiron, but I'll make a topic when done and I have taken some decent photos :)
  8. I do the exact opposite - I'm in the process of converting my (many) 6-wide cars to 8-wide. This is the beauty of this hobby, we can all do exactly as we wish!
  9. Its not like the classic road plates were cheap, and to me you always got one you had no use for anyway.. Regarding them being narrow, the beauty of the new road plates is, you can easily expand the width of the road using tiles! This enables you to create busstops, Refuge Islands, speedbumps and what have you in a real city, much more easy than using the classic road plates. I can only see possibilities with these new road plates, not limitations :)
  10. Great review! I've got some of the new road plates along with the City Center and I like the roads a lot more than the old baseplates. I have build mutiple different cities with my kids the last month, because its so easy to rearrange. A bike path as an Extras set would be cool, and perhaps a sidewalk accesories too.
  11. What a great idea! I've just tried it (I don't have many grey technic round things...): Only thing is, where the sloping road (?) meets the cross-walk/zebra stribes, you can't have the 18677, since its just a bit more than 2 plates 'high'. But using 48336 and 60470b and a few tiles, made it look good :)
  12. Thats some great cars! I have an SL on my "want to build" list, it will be hard not just to copy your excelent interpretation! I love it! Fantastic build!
  13. Thats a very nice addition to a vinter village! Id buy that if it was a set!
  14. As @Evensong writes, the first/original version was great, and this is even better! Merry christmas
  15. Wow great build - I could recgonize it right away, before reading the description! We have the same type in Denmark, although ours are all military-green but they are also used for rescue operations and they ofte pass our house on the way to the hospital. I also like the studs below the windows, to me it makes it more Lego-ish with a few studs than total smooth.
  16. I've been thinking about this as well. My conclusion so far, is to wait a bit and when all the christmas decorations is taken out, I'll see if I can just use a regular christimas light, as @LegoDW wrote. The custom solutions are too expensive for me :) But please post your results!
  17. Thats a very nice building! I would probably have a larger window in the ice cream shop, but thats just me. I really like the light blue (azure?) color on the mittle section! And the roof looks very detailed, Great build !
  18. So, Promo Bricks have pictures of new GWP ( I guess), that looks like it will fit perfectly into any Winter Village. My question is, that red torso, is that new? It looks just like my kids winter sweaters, so I would like to get a few :)
  19. Wow ? So many great techniques and the minifigures are spot on! Thanks for posting detailed about the roof, that's always my headdace, and this helps me tremendously!
  20. Thats a very nice sign! I'd tried to build it, but I modified it a bit afterwards; changed 54200 to 6091, then it gets a bit more curvy at the top :)
  21. I don't know - and I can see it may have been an error on the website since it dosent show it now. So, carry on ;)
  22. Wow, thats crazy. On the danish site its also on backorder, but it will ship within a week, and then a banner says they will include an surprise gift ?
  23. I have been following your thread since the first post; I too have a small Winter Village thing going on, so I'm very inspired to see your builds. I love the mountain and the layers of snow on the ground! Please keep posting updates!
  24. Very very cool MOC! Did you 3D-print the excavator bucket? Anyways, it looks fantastic!
