I understand the process of video editing and its a good video. its timing on certain shots are hard to follow and using different cameras can be a chore to edit together. I can tell by looking at the background and you can see the different in FPS . I've done a 12 volt conversion and your performance is not question and I believe your model does fly.

small and simple is good, you need a longer video to show durability -
Hard to tell if its playing normal speed... good build though!!

Ill be honest and I believe you have great craftsmanship since the durability is present on video , going downhill just shows its lacking some speed .. good job !!
-
you make it look simple which is good!! , i will try it and see how it performance and durability on an offroad course and in door maneuverability course . Thank you for presenting it

@johnny1360 if i use my color method it should be in the half way to hard. According from the web its in the middle https://www.google.com/search?q=lego+shock+absorber+color+scale&newwindow=1&rlz=1C1CHBD_enUS768US768&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=_1hyDED1X5uTOM%3A%2C_bEmO29zx09ytM%2C_&usg=__4lHBbe2tSJkBCkG4LrxF-56ClF8%3D&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjDkIKRsMraAhVH9mMKHSJ1D3gQ9QEINzAF#imgrc=_1hyDED1X5uTOM:

thank you @Johnny1360 I did change the front suspension by allowing the steering bar to slide up and down on two long vertical rods that was connected to the steering rack and made the suspension perpendicular to allow the ease of the rods to slide up and down which work very good (see picture) and no more pushing like you said, I took off perpendicular limiter and the only issue is now when i take a deep turn left or right its popping up the steering rack but it will center out and the rack is connected again , i didnt see that when the perpendicular limits was on.... .. On ver. 3.2 chassis im changing back to posi-traction. im not to impress with using unlock diff !!! this is with the limiter on the blue 2l lift beam prevents the rack to slide off and @Johnny1360 you have eagles eyes!!!! yes your correct about my 90 degree u joint rotation!!!!

Suspension its like McPherson struts with 2 links for stability, for a small scale model, finding that right setup to do suspension can be a challenge. Its small enough to use the balloon tire as its cushion so therefor a simple A-arm style with out independent is nice to have.. testing of this is still WIP and a few days Ill determined if i need to change.

Mini Chassis 3.0 "Chief Fire Ranger 4x4" (tm) Well I went ahead and put Ver. 2.1 chassis on the shelf and get back to it later. Its has a major suspension upgrade and Im still learning on how to use the shock absorber correctly and I just got myself a Lego set 42075 which ver. 3.0 chassis is based from .. It follows the same scale as the Lego set 42068 which ver. 1 and 2 chassis is derived which I favor due to its smaller scale and just enough performance under 9 volts to be satisfied. 3,0 mini chassis Based off the Chevrolet 4x4 1500 Suburban 4 door Body with interior and all Lego PF devices are hidden and full cosmetic California based Ranger's themed 1 XL Pf motor and 1 M Pf motor with receiver and battery inside cargo area of model. Compatible to all types of controllers. 67.8 mm Lego balloon tires All time 4 wheel drive with limited slip differential Generic A frame front end suspension with 2 links and generic "baja" buggy style rear suspension This is my first release and updates will be plenty:)

when I was a child, all my technic models had a bigger square pistons and if they had a cam it would be similar to your pistons. I thought the mini where the smaller yellow pistons. its odd that the pistons are with no cylinder. transparent blocks do exist!! update, I got it thanks!!!
-
ok I thought they represent cams since they are located above the piston and then they are pistons without a cylinder .. odd !!
-
i thought a w block engine has 6 rows of cams 2 rows per block head for a total of 6 rows.. that looks like a v block engine and is there a piston inside of your model ??

42070 Drive Problem
sirslayer replied to Maaboo the Witch's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I've did a dual gear design where the output from motor have 2 x 24t gears on the output axles and 2 x 12t gears on input to differentials so I could do forward and reverse instants travel with minimal clicking or grinding. the axles tend to bend inwards or bend outwards from heavy loads or torque. the dual gear design makes sure gears dont skip a beat. the small 12t gear single bevel to diff is usually the cause
