  1. @Jim amazing review, as always :) It feels amost like a review of BWE. Hope that the next set will be reviewed by you as well :) This set will be easily obtainable for ~200 euros pretty soon, so it may be an interesting buy. Time will tell.
  2. Hey, thank you for noticing the blue pin! I did not see it.. getting old :D my gosh, panel.. :D Thanks!
  3. I am using external websites, you can see the link by opening the image in the new tab. I do love the big cars as well, that is why I was waiting so long to buy this set. Nevertheless, only a small issues left so in the worst case scenario I will buy a chinese connectors if they match the colour if lego will not create a correct ones in the next ~6 months.
  4. Why you do think that? He can always create his own profle in any app and drive it around :)
  5. @AmitDC for me it looks like that: So it is clear that they did resolve a lot of isuess. I do really hope that soon we will have a better connectors. As right now the liftarms and the slopes from my previous post are correct (at least they are able to make them in correct shade of lime, because I do have a few from this set). Time will tell :)
  6. @AmitDC actualy, funny thing - I have parts with correct colour from one bag and the same parts from another bag darker/yellower. Specially the Lime Technic, Liftarm Thin 1 x 3 - Axle Holes, which I have got 6 in wrong collour (too dark?) and 2 are correct. In overal I will be requesting a replacemt for Lime Technic, Liftarm Thin 1 x 3 - Axle Holes,, Lime Technic, Pin with Friction Ridges Lengthwise and Pin Hole, Lime Technic, Pin 3L with Friction Ridges Lengthwise and Center Pin Hole, Lime Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Hub with 1 Axle, Lime Slope 45 2 x 1 with 2/3 Cutout. We will see what will happen. I will wait a few more weeks. I will also try to buy other sets with those pieces in order to see if they are batter now.
  7. Lego did make a better job with colour differences - I have a model packed on 24/09/2020 in CZ and the biggest issue is with pin with axle plus the part with 2 pins and a hole on the middle. =o= Funny thing, the system slope parts on the back, below the plate with lambo, are in two shades - the newer ones are in correct one and the older one are yellow-ish, so I will be asking for a replacement of those as well. To summarize, panels are finally good (all of them), connectors are not good and some small minor differences can be found on the beams and systemic parts (but only older ones). Could be worse. I have a plan to contact with Lego asking for a replacement in a few weeks, so we will see.
  8. Are those links are not working only for me? :) Firefox here. Ublock turned off.
  9. @Tonyst4rk80 thank you for your reply. I did check it againt, but the ring itself is sliding properly, no friction there. I did even swap them, as well as the driving rings, etc.. Still exactly the same issue. I think I will have to live with that :x Maybe one day I will just build a second one separately and swap them. Bugatti was not spinning the engine on reverse gear, because I forgot 16t gear, for two years so this can wait :D
  10. @jb70 I am currently building the pimp version of Sian, box 2, testing the gear switch. Maybe you, or other members have any idea why the shift paddles next to the steering wheel are unable to switch the gearbox from 4th to 5th one or from 5th to 4th, respectively? They are slipping when trying to switch hi-lo gearbox. The gears on the dashboard are also under high stress but they are able to switch the gears eventually. It is similar to the Bugatti version where there is a little bit of resistance, but paddles are able to switch it. Here, not. I did rebuild the whole section and the gearbox twice already, but the paddles are still slipping. I can post a video if this would help, personally I do not have any idea anymore what could be wrong. Does anyone else encounter this issue? Thank you very much in advance for any tips! 11. @kbalage, as I did mention on YT already (and you did reply) - Buggy is selling well and most likely it will be produced again - because the instruction does not mention the screws, as well as the previous website description, etc., they did decide to take it down in Europe, change everything and produce a new batch with the new hub. I bet the same will happen in US when the new batch will be produced in Mexico. Previous models are still on stock/won't be produced anymore, therefore there are no issues here. At least this is the only reason for such an action - stock with old hubs will be directed to 3rd party suppliers which can sell both variants without any issues where Lego will keep only a new one on the website to do not confuse anyone - imagine that the parent is buying this set being 100% sure it has screws just to receive an older version without it. We will see in a few weeks if I was right.
  12. And suddenly this model does not look so bad anymore :) Thanks, @grohl! You did what a lot of us asked before :)
  13. I am 100% sure that he will make a dragon out of it
  14. I think you are taking this too serious guys, @LvdH, @nerdsforprez. I have bought a lot of Lego sets - always for myself. I will not be writing about the numbers, but for the past 7 years I did use Lego Customer Service only 8 (or maybe 9) times, where at least 5 times it was because of wrong parts in the box (twice the same bag with missing correct one, vide 10264 recently) or broken pieces in completely fine box. Also missprints (10265) are always reported. And, funny thing, for the first time I did request parts replacement because of the colour issue was last year, with the Ducati fail with pin hole and axle discolour. It never happened before, nor with 42069, or 42054. Small differences (vide tan bricks, yellow, white, black, etc.) are fine and Lego is not something I do expect 100% accuracy from but the issues like with Fiat 500 (2x2 slope) where parts are "paper thin" and you can see what is beneath them, or with Lambo where you have a lime fiesta with completely different shades of lime for basically each part.. that is not cool and Lego needs to swallow their pride or be ready to compensate this. I did cut a slack for Lego many times but at some point in your life you understand that you are paying for the quality. I do not think I will change Lego for any other company but I have all rights to demand the quality they are so proudly shout about every where, every time. “Only the best is good enough” should not be only an empty slogan and I am sad you do not understand this. They could basically burry the Osprey in a launch day, they should be able to find time and money to make, at least, the worst parts from Lambo again in right colour and replace them on demand - I bet most of the buyers are just angry for a moment and they are not even going back to Lego to report the problem. On the Lego portal there are only ~180 reviews with 3 stars or less from whole world. That is.. mererly 2-5% of the all customers who bought the set? How many of the eurobricks members did request a parts replacement from Lego? 10? 15? Out of 200-300 who bought it and they are here? Well. Actually a poll is a really good idea. @Jim, @Milan I am not sure I can create a topic with poll, but is there an option to make a topic about the colour issues with poll to see how many members of Eurobricks are reporting issues? Thank you in advance. Nevertheless, peace and nice evening, will post some pictures from my production batch when will be building my own copy :) PS. @Gray Gear I do not intend to make any profit on it. I do have previous two supercars and I want to have all of them including the future models. If Lego will resolve the lime issue in the future, I will buy new parts to replace the faulty one for sure. But I will be expecting some sollution from Lego in this matter and right now, they had over a year to produce a new batch of the worst parts, i.e. pin hole with axle.
  15. Just bought 42115 for ~195 euro. Completely new, sealed in the original carton box from Lego (sealed in Czech Republic on 24/09/2020). Only a really small wear on the set box from the small movements inside the carton box. We will see about the replacement of pin hole with axle parts from Lego, as I will definitely request it.
  16. @LvdH pin hole with axle have some issues (specially in Ducatti), but siprisingly when I did order a replacement (5 out of 8 were basically dark red instead of red) the new ones from Denmark were free of this issue and were normal red. So.. maybe there is a hope? I am currently waiting for some parts to pimp up my Lambo which I just bought (-48% from RRP) and the boxing date is 24/09/2020. Already checked that pin hole with axle is yellowish and I will definitely ask Lego for a replacement, alle of them. And I will be asking them to replace it again and again, as long as they will admit that they have an issue in 380 euro set and give me some nice bonus. This is a big mistake and I will not go easy on them - I do not give a damn about their way of producing and storing the parts and I do expect only the best from them. Well.. we will see :D
  17. Hello People :) Currently i am building 10278. So far I really like this set and I am already preparing some bricklink list for some small upgrades. However I do have no idea for making some kind of curtains for the 1st floor, right here. Do you have any idea which pieces would do the job? I was thinking on something green, triangle plate with small tiles on it from both sides, but to be honest - I have no pieces to even test it and do not have the feeling on what could be a good idea. I will be glad for any ideas. Thank you in advance and have a great weekend :)
  18. It looks very well done! I wish Lego would do something like that for B model. How great that would be? Anyway, maybe this will trigger the need to reconsider buying 42111 :P
  19. @Captain Hannibal Joost did you build it already with bricks? I have to admit it looks amazing and the roof building technique is just beautiful!
  20. Does your loop really working? Do you have any video maybe? It looks really good!
  21. I will happilly switch to the new system as soon as Lego will introduce 32x32 and 16x32 plates in "normal" prices (up to 10 euro) compared to 8 euro for baseplates). As long as they will not do it there is no point of leaning towards the new road system. It is expensive (roads + plates for buldings + normal bricks for elevation) and not always possible. And we all know, that not always plate 16x16 is sufficient for what stands on it in terms of integrity of the building. Let's hope Lego will find a solution which will be sufficient and easily obtainable.
  22. Sad news. I did request replacement of "paper thin" 2x2 with slopes. All of them. They did agree and the pack with all of them already arrived. Unfortunately, parts from HU (original set) are exactly the same as from Denmark.. so I am highly disappointed...
  23. @kbalage that is why I would love to see “programming” the hub with the desired output engine and control type choice. It would help with GBC, Trains, Technic even (one pilot, three engines [2x propulsion]) and it would limit the usage of the app in many cases. Well, I hope that you would mention that to some guys from PUP :) Have a great day! As for now, bang-bang control will be used as for me. Maybe in the future.. :)
  24. @kbalage did you have a chance to speak with someone from PUP Team about this? For me it is a simple change - if the application can “upload” the engine behaviour to the hub, it could be added as a “advanced setting” to the PowerUP app which could be required to upload the behaviour at least once. Even if this would have to be done each time the hub is powered up, it would be convenient enough. Why the PUP app? As for example the crocodile mod is there - so adding this option would be no problem. The biggest problem is that there is no easy way to find out about their plans. @dr_spock thank you for your video :)
  25. Does anyone had a chance to speak with Lego team to address the possible update of the hub to work with technic engines (I.e. crocodile mod) with the remote acting like the normal train engine? Technically the hub is able to do that with the right update. My apologies if that was already mentioned in this topic, I did try to search it first. Or, if you have any advice how to make it without the constant use of phone/tablet, let me know. Thanks.
