  1. They look good and hugely overpriced. But the designs are fine. The sub looks nice from far away but that's the most open sub LEGO has ever made.
  2. Christmas Pack? In the USA there is a Christmas Tree and a Santa for 500 points each, but they aren't combined pack. These were sold in stores last year. These aren't going to be a gift with purchase. Also the leaks are most likely wrong. The current one will also be given out in December too. From LEGO... (The dates are American in case anyone is confused.)
  3. I bought one of all the kitties for $1.50ish a piece, yet there is a Harry Potter glitter cat that's only like 68 cents. Got some baby sheep and pigs, one adult sheep and another Friends llama. Almost bought more pigs but saved the $4 because I remembered the VIP pack has pigs in it. Also when ordering there are new VIP rewards, two Christmas polybags, a scarf, some other Christmas junk.
  4. Brick Clicker has a list of sets, they include a bubble tea set, donut shop, restaurant, skate park, another house, a large organic shop, a mobile home, several bedrooms and a new big city center set. 13:13 in the video.
  5. Well my cousin's sister's mother's ex boyfriend's brother says it will be a Museum. Super reliable source.
  6. I'm fine with that. We are arguing over the sexuality of a plastic toy. How do we know that williejm isn't right and all the characters are queer? If you haven't read or watched anything then the darn minifigures are just a toy and can be anything you want them to be. However pretty sure they are a couple in some official way. However LEGO is the biggest toy company in the world. They can't say characters are gay on boxes or press releases because that's banned in China. I'm done discussing the sexuality of a damn toy and going to go back to admiring the nice set designs.
  7. There are gay dads in the Main Street set, so right there you have been proven wrong. You are just trying to be offended over nothing. How old are these characters supposed to be? In the TV series maybe they will show same sex couples but don't like labels.
  8. It's from Brickset. https://brickset.com/article/84204/interview-with-the-friends-relaunch-team
  9. One of the friends has two gay dads in the Main Street set from this year. I was really hoping for a non-binary character and then I thought Olly would be it, but nope. Any number of these characters can have a same sex dating partner that is introduced later or on the TV show. And are you saying being gay is a 'controversial' disability?
  10. Again.... Friends has ALWAYS been for boys. I really don't like repeating myself. City Police is mostly developed by LEGO for boys, it doesn't mean it's not for girls. 5 year olds aren't full of stupidity, ignorance and hate. They are taught that by ignorant, closeminded, and often times, just plain stupid adults.
  11. There are at least 4 more sets to be revealed according to the numbers. So I can't wait to see those. One thing I find somewhat annoying is the 5x6 window / double door frame is in yellow and pale yellow in these sets. Yet it's still not in tan which was needed years ago for a Harry Potter set. Somewhat... completely off topic... Friends seems to be going very strong, can we please get some more subthemes? I dislike the minidolls on a whole however the Elves theme, set design, pieces, minidoll designs were amazing and I want to see more creativity with them.
  12. It was always been for boys.
  13. Probably for one set. I'm still annoyed LEGO didn't have more guide dogs in more sets.
  14. Non-binary people can look like anyone. The sets are amazing, the prices even better. Not a huge fan of the school but that's okay. The house is amazing and the skate through dinner is a blast. Good to see new colors for the double door frame and windows.
  15. How do we know they are males? LEGO could be doing non-binary people now too. Who knows.
  16. I understand why LEGO does it. No need to hype up demand for the set in January. However by the time the GWP comes out the modular will be sold out and LEGO never makes enough stock of GWP. (Still looking at you teal car)
  17. There was a pretty good reboot this year and it worked out great. If they want to do a bigger reboot I'm fine with that.
  18. #crazy #Youaretheproblem #inflationiscorporategreed
  19. Have you tried the remote instead of the app? All I can think of is the app is out of date.
  20. Brick Clicker says there will be a modular tie in for February GWP. But LEGO claims they don't sell well enough to produce. But I'm sure a $500 HP train that doesn't run and a $550 HulkBuster will sell just fine... I do love that about his reviews, I've been doing that for years because I grew up in the 90s where LEGO had a bunch of very big specialized pieces, but the sets felt okay priced. Or at least I thought so at the time.
  21. I agree. But we know that LEGO won't be using bigger pieces like in Cafe Corner or Green Grocer, they will be using the modern style which is super detailed, but smaller parts with less pieces / plastic. Which brings up a good point, maybe we should start weighing the sets.
  22. Police Station - 2923 pieces for $200 Hotel - 3066 pieces for $200/$230 I'd be happier with the piece count if LEGO didn't get greedy. For $230 I want many more pieces.
  23. I keep trying to shop the PAB and all I get is 'unexpected error'. It be great if the LEGO website ever worked right. And yes I tried two different browsers and cleared cookies.
  24. Mine wasn't in my cart, but was in order details and the email LEGO sent me. However a couple hours after my post the GWPs were OOS.
  25. So the Halloween one is back in stock in the USA. So make sure to check. Mine wasn't listed at checkout but is in the Order page. Must have been a supply chain issue.
