So how do you explain City? No license and still hugely overpriced. The IJ prices are wrong. There is no nice way to put it besides that. I'd guess that the prices listed were from when the sets were supposed to come out in April or May before LEGO's price gauging.

My favorite thing LEGO does now is BACKORDERED - Will ship by.... today's date. I check about once a week and it's always whatever the date is. So my fishing boat is supposed to ship today. It won't, then it will supposed to ship tomorrow. This will go on until the end of time.

I like hearing that but this time I wish I was wrong. LEGO can't make the newer rounds of sets if they still haven't finish making the first round of sets! With me they send a new email every two weeks.

It's been rumoured for many months and is actually different than the rumours said. It's fine. Too many stickers and at least $60 overpriced. Not much else to say.

From what I understand the guy who made Everyone is Awesome is a fan of Queer Eye and somehow convinced LEGO to make the set. It was a really stupid idea. LEGO would have been better off making the Golden Girls house.

So the total is still 4 and not 2. Minecraft became two different themes after Ideas so sometimes things just work. Queer Eye has been a massive failure. It was one of the few 'exclusive' sets that was on sale last year, within months of being released. I think people are only buying it because it has some awesome prints. Kind of like Big Bang Theory. I never got it but I love the food prints in it. Big Bang Theory makes sense to me. Friends even makes sense to me. Seinfeld seems very American and The Office is obviously very American. It's fine if LEGO thinks they sell then make them. However it's not like LEGO only needs to pick one set a round. Why not pick a sitcom AND an original idea. (I'm really bitter about Land Ahoy which I thought would be a shoe in.)

They made two billion last year, I think they might be making what some people want. My guess is that LEGO wants a Halloween set and it makes Disney happy. The current Haunted House ride set will probably retire next year and this will replace it for the 'Halloween' set. Twice? I count 5. Big Bang Theory Friends Central Perk Queer Eye Seinfeld The Office Again, these must sell, but there is nothing stopping LEGO from making new things. I thought Ships Ahoy was a shoe in, it's well liked, it's weird and different and fun and makes a great display piece. Add some Pirates prints and AFOLs would be happy. But nope, I don't understand LEGO either. I'm not a huge Castle fan, but with all the new prints there is no reason why LEGO can't make a Castle theme. Even if LEGO doesn't want a new theme, make it a subtheme of Creator, like. they did with City Space.

But there is no reason LEGO couldn't pick a license set and an original idea.

Too many sets. The theme is a bit of a mess because of it. They have all these cool animals but nothing was ever done with a lot of them because there just was so many sets being thrown out at an insane pace. The vehicles weren't creative after awhile. They needed some different building styles. There needed to be more buildings and locations. It's like LEGO threw everything at the wall hoping something would stick. I do regret not getting 70228: Vultrix's Sky Scavenger as it's very much like a Klingon Bird of Prey. And the Fire and Ice... kind of lame. Again if they did fire playsets and ice playsets that be great, instead there was weird vehicles with odd colors added. Just so many sets and so many 'meh'.

But LEGO is changing the prices of the sets 3-4 months after release. It's not like they are the old Jurassic World sets and need to increase because of inflation. It's not even on all the sets.

Same here! I don't get what LEGO is doing. The Jurassic World sets are at least only like 12% increases, but why not just do this right away? We knew of the price increases since before the JW3 set releases.

Why is it promising? LEGO will just change the date for the next year until maybe the things ship. Just checked my email. 5 days ago the date changed from July 15th to July 29th, the date it was last month. That's a full year since I ordered. I never expect o get the set.

That never seems to be the case around Eurobricks. Let's have 34 pages of speculation based on nothing! It's the Eurobricks way!

Like what sets? Because AGAIN Europe has a 20%+ VAT tax. That means that 20% should come off the price for the Americas. A 50 Euro set should be 40Euro outside of Europe, that's $45. Instead in the USA that means $70-$80. Pot. Kettle. Eyeroll.

I really love that the set isn't out and is already $60 cheaper in Europe than the USA. The pricing is ridiculous and I'm sick of LEGO fans making excuses for the price gauging.

I have never been happier to be wrong about the long legs. They were needed for this theme. I still don't understand why LEGO didn't use them for Woody and more importantly Jack Skellington. However the molded heads weren't. A head piece forthe ears would have worked fine and made the figures look more... LEGOy.

The release date isn't until August in NA.

I have literally gotten 20 emails with 20 different dates. It was wasn't just June. I was told last November it be shipping soon. In May it said May 8th, 23, June 3, June 21, now August 3. This is outrageous. There are no excuses for this.

You can think that, but they aren't. This is exactly LEGO. This fits into modern LEGO perfectly. They have become a joke. I rather they just cancel it. I have gotten no less then 20 of these emails delaying the set 2 more weeks and then 2 more and then two more. It shouldn't be this hard to make a few thousand of a set for North America.

My Fishing Boat got delayed for the 10,797th time with the new date of August 3rd. So should we take bets on when (or if) I ever get the set?

It's one of my favorite Friends sets and I love what you did with it! Amazing job!

I have yet to see a single deal on the school. Just the normal 20% off and that's even not as common as other sets.

So the School has double points for the month. There is a rumour of double points on everything at the end of the month. So can you get quad points?
