  1. Yeah, but chains make it difficult to play with. And stop it, it's not like anything Lego actually has an anus. XD
  2. They tried putting Ninjago to rest once already. It didn't work. Face it, we're stuck with it. XD
  3. I'm not planning to get this myself (not in the budget), but wouldn't the easiest solution to the question of moving the legs forwards and backwards be something similar to the technique used in the legs of the Garma Mecha Man from the Ninjago Movie? Except reversed so that the hinge is on the waist, not the leg?
  4. Good point, hadn't considered that. Thanks for the tip. I've seen all eight now, except #3 which was missing for some reason, and there are two things I didn't really count on. Firstly, I'm surprised that the guardians are sentient and capable of speech. Certainly breaks the precedent set by the dragons for the last couple of years. Secondly . . Anyway. My pictures are ready; And, if anyone's interested in how I achieved the connection; As for the actual set itself, I have to say that I like the lion the most. The little 'capture' mechanism is cute, and works far better than the very similar thing they had last year in The Capture of Sophie Jones. That said, the little cave part feels a bit redundant and will probably be scrapped for parts.
  5. I wish. Unfortunately, the Cursed Realm was destroyed, remember? No more ghosts.
  6. Does anyone have any idea what the AUD prices will be for the sets? Because the massive price hike to $170 AUD for the Sanctum Sanctorum over in Marvel has me worried.
  7. Um . . anyone speak . . whatever that was?
  8. Does anyone know why 76108 Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown is so ridiculously overpriced in the Australian shop? It's 99 USD, which equates to 129 AUD. But it's listed as 169 AUD. Why the $40 price hike? I hope this doesn't carry over to the retailers (who usually have it cheaper), because this could put a major hole in my plans to put the Sanctum in my village. But I've noticed a trend; my local shops have been getting everything in EXCEPT the Sanctum. Is there a reason for this too? Is it just so popular that Lego doesn't have enough to put on shelves? Because I'm pretty sure it isn't an exclusive.
  9. Well, the new Elves sets finally - "finally" - arrived down under! And, of course, my first priority was the Fire Lion, so that I could finally put the chariot on him! One issue I didn't expect was the height. Rowan's butt sits a lot higher than Firewing's back. But I tweaked it a little, and it all worked fine. And I'm sure Azari won't mind that her chariot is slanted slightly upwards. XD Won't be able to get pictures up until later, unfortunately.
  10. The Green Ninja did appear in the Lego Movie, even if it was his original 2012 suit and not an up-to-date (for the time) one. That's good enough to prove canon for me. Besides, it's pretty obvious that the Green Ninja is the only important person in Movie-verse Ninjago.
  11. Minor suggestion; for the wings use the trans green parts from 71300. The Bionicle thing.
  12. All the episodes are on YouTube, up to 81 (currently). Does anyone know which parts are used for the hair on the S.O.G. grunts inthe show? Because I really want to diversify the individual members. Skip Vicious and Luke Cunningham are identical, and Chopper Maroon is just Nails with big legs.
  13. Hopefully the theories are correct and she'll be in a summer set.
  14. I never noticed this before, but the Ultra Violet that comes in S.O.G. Headquarters and the Ultra Violet in Nunja Nightcrawler are different variants. I thought the only difference was the armour part, but they have unique prints. The Headquarters version is her normal look, while the Nightcrawler version is what she look so like with the Mask of Hatred's power influencing her.
  15. Looking nice. I'm guessing you're waiting for more track pieces to be made available?
  16. I would have suggested Sensei Wu, personally, in his classic suit from 2011. Though Ninjago is a good choice, it's been the defining theme of the whole decade. Though I suppose his hat might have been a problem . .
  17. Depends on how big the submarine is.
  18. Naah, they'd need at least one more head. Of course, they should have that . . .
  19. To be fair, we got three all new dinosaurs this time around - Stygimoloch, Carnotaurus (even if it is way bigger than it should be) and the Indoraptor (Hell, four if you count the new 'baby raptor') - so we can't really complain, especially now that they're finally demonstrating that they're willing to add to the existing mould pool of T-Rex, Raptor, Pterodactyl and Triceratops.
  20. There was a gap of one year between Hands of Time and Sons of Zgarmadon, remember? The future then is the present now. I'm sure there'll be an explanation for where Krux and Acronix are. Maybe they went further into the future and will crop up later, like Pythor did in Day of the Departed?
  21. Maybe they'll bring back the Triceratops?
  22. Uh . . . I was just suggesting a hypothetical second wave as a possible explanation for why there would be more sets . .
  23. No. Go back and look at Ninjago in 2014; the second wave of "Rebooted" had a grand total of two sets. Three would be fine.
