  1. Okay, thank you. I will have another search for it later tonight. It really bugs me...
  2. He traded a few rowboats for a sunk class 4. From my point of view he can have them.
  3. Things did not go as planned for the WTC. Peaceful trade seemed to be not their forte, for over the last months a significant portion of their smaller trading ships had been sunk or captured. Grumpy as usual, Mordo gave the Royal Shipyards Executive Office a visit: "Listen lady, we need new ships. Rowboats ain't gonna cut it. I know there is a big one in the works, and small will do. Skip all the fancy stuff, speed is not an issue. Give me something sturdy, with proper guns - and make it easy to produce. If those dang pirates shoot one down, I want two more the next month!" "Sir, you have come to the right place. One of our young lads has come up with an interesting concept, he calls it cat-a-murr-on or something. The prototype is done, we can do two more for now. A proper field test would be much appreciated!" === Not much later, the WTC had three new ships sailing. Named the "Bully Boys", they shared a common design: slow and cumbersome, heavily armed for their size, and ready to do patrols and trade around the Paradise Isles. The WTC Bully Boy I: Due to its slow speed, and the necessity to stay close to the shore, catching fish with a simple rod was easy and a favourite pastime of some crew during slow days. Some more experienced crewcrabs tought younger sailors the use of the carronades: The WTC Bully Boy II: This one just returned from Camp Isaac on nearby Cascadia, transporting apples and bananas. Not all the bananas might make it to Mesabi landing though... Every ship had two main guns and both a frward and a rear carronade, making the "Bully Boys" capable gunboats: The WTC Bully Boy III: Some of the crew were eager to get their guns blazing, sinking pirate ships and whatnot. Others were happe with some rest and a piece of cheese: ========================================================================================= Licensed as three class 1 gunboats for the WTC. Incoming rules change in 3... 2... 1... As always, C&C are appreciated.
  4. Oh shiny. This change of events is very much to the liking of the WTC.
  5. Natives from the far south-east producing cheap clothes? Massacres on some priests? The WTC delivers once again! [/IC] Oh, also: nice build!
  6. Amazing! Absolutely amazing! The size and the details are stunning, as is all the action - it looks and feels like a working factory. Loving all those dubious bottles and snakes in the office - very fitting for the production of your vile poison! An excellent build, you can be proud of yourself!
  7. Hate being "that guy", but maximum size for CatB entries is 32x32 studs.
  8. I kind of agree, but for a RPG it is necessary. The alternative would be to remove NPCs (for BotBS: both nations and characters).
  9. @Bart Keep in mind that Prio is a NPC nation. In any RPG the NPCs are played by the gamemasters, and usually are played to suit the narrative the players come up with. As you correctly stated right now there is little to no balance in the situation between Prio and the Sea Rats, so some should be brought in. To achieve this in BotBS, Prio should get some "help from behind the scenes".
  10. Organisations not identical to a state with actions not identical to those of the state? Who would have thought? The horror!
  11. Very nice one, loving all the ornamentation on the rear! Smooth sailing on the wooden seas!
  12. It is about a bought license for a currently unmocced ship. Maybe @Legostone knows about the paperwork aspect?
  13. What is the procedure if I want to change stats on an already licensed ship?
  14. Thanks! Hmm, they are the same size as any other "official" Lego two-master. Might be that they are raised a few bricks (by standing on the upper deck, not starting at the hull) or the lack of actual sails that make them look taller. Thank you. Thanks for the constructive criticism, I appreciate it. My goal for ships has never been realism though. On top of that I always have to make compromises due to the bricks I have (or do not). This ship is a good example: far from being realistic, and could look a lot better with different parts available. Nice to hear, thank you.
  15. To be fair: unless the GMs decide to handwave a huge war fleet of Prio into existence (on top of some defensive structures for Alexport), Prio has as much chances as a snowball in hell of surviving this. I reamain curious though. [IC] And the WTCM is eagerly taking notes... [/IC]
  16. Or NPC pirates. Which is exactly the point. I could attack certain ships now already, opening "second front" with the SR has no added benefits for me - only higher risks. And all for a buy-in of 100DB. Thanks, but no thanks.
  17. True, but I can achieve that already without paying somebody else first.
  18. Short question: I have to pay for the right to fight (and likely lose ships) for another nation - where is the profit for me? This does not add up...
  19. Thank you. I can work with this.
  20. @Capt Wolf Concerning my three losses (WTC Agnes Y2, Y4 and Y5) due to Bloody Bill: is it possible to tell which ships caused the captures and the kill? Last month I got this kind of info, and I would appreciate the details. I have... a list.
  21. Where is the argument here? He made a fair point, I reacted accordingly. I fail to see the issue...
  22. Is there a penalty for having ships above your shiplevels? I noted some NPCs were in that state for a while (Zublius van Wreck still is). Same for Oleon and the NPC factions Mardier (by 25!) and Montroy. Some players are as well (@Bregir, @Flavius Gratian, @kaiju).
  23. @Maxim I Very interesting idea. I am curious to see how this will work out for Trador.
  24. No, that would currently be 7 points (and would be listed as residences too).
  25. @Phred or @Captain Genaro There is a small issue with the settlement size of Mesabi Landing. It is currently listed at 145 points, while it was 144 points at the end of June - yet no additional property has been built since then. The numbers add up to 144, so I assume there is some rounding error somewhere? Could you please check, I prefer numbers to add up correctly.
