  1. Well, for what it's worth, I have provided the SR with yet another ship MOC.
  2. Meh, that went pretty horribad for me.
  3. The local authorities do not approve. Nice build though!
  4. I remember @Mesabi did a lot of writing for NPC states, I don't know how much of it got published so far though.
  5. Eh, I'd bury that name rather sooner than later, but seeing the silence on the forum lately I'm happy with letting it stay as it is for now. As soon as things get active once more I can bring it up again.
  6. This made the 10.000? Good news, I really hope it makes the retail cut - I would love to have this as a kit!
  7. Very cool MOC, brilliant idea and well executed! For some reason the crew of mimes and Captain Mouse looks downright scary to me - thanks for the potential nightmares!
  8. @Bregir @Capt Wolf @Phred In what places is it necessary to implement my username change? "Drunknok" is now "Darnok".
  9. Nice build and excellent photography - great scene alltogether!
  10. Lovely creation. I would buy it!
  11. Digging up the position of ships can get annoying, especially if they have not been used for some turns. I hope some "ship locations listing" (same for armies) is in the works.
  12. A brilliant take on a true classic. Excellent MOC, I love it!
  13. Generally, with the quality you have now shown capable of, it would be a shame not to work a bit on presentation. :) So, for what it is worth... I have talked with @Mesabi about this and that, including this build. His Lego is packed away for the time being, including this build (as well as this one too of course). Doing "more pictures" is technically impossible, as are any changes - no model to photograph or do changes on around any more. So, question to those above: how do you handle this? Approve "half of it"? Or none at all? Same for this one (which no feedback has been given in three months...).
  14. True story. We almost had the servers crashing over the onslaught of people on the forums! Aww, spoilsport! I aim to amuse. See above, glad it made you laugh! You too, I hope you had a good one. I literally had this idea the night before, and could only spend a few hours on it on April 1st itself. Ideally it would have had some weeks to prepare, with folks behind the scene involved. Naybe next year!
  15. 2000? You are sure it was not over 9000? Nice build, that built painting of the explosion scene is brilliant. And all those subtle hints at bananas...
  16. OOC: this matter will be reviewed after Mesabi Landing has been rebuilt. Until then, there are obviously more important things to handle for the WTC.
  17. Cool idea, thanks for the laughs! That background build is also most pleasing to my old eyes.
  18. I like this channel a lot, and they have recently done an episode about sailors food of the 18th century: This should have you covered until the WTCM returns.
  19. Very nice builds from both of you! Will be interesting to see what else the island has to offer, after the previous events (check here and here). Was the volcanic eruption maybe caused by some explosives the WTC has left behind?!
  20. Nice scene! If the Oleon cavalry ever wants to train on more challenging terrain: Argentia provides lots of it. And the WTC will care well for them horsies...
  21. Nice, thanks again. It might have slipped under your radar, but Proxyville is not listed yet. And despite a statement to the contrary here: ... Mesabi Landing is still listed as a City, instead of Grand City.
  22. A new era is about to start! Dire times have come to the Brick Seas. The devestation of Mesabi Landing was all but total, monstrous spiders had overrun Haven, and an inferno fallen from the skies had wiped out Rassilon. Minifigs near and far trembled in fear of the things that might follow. All hope was not lost though! Ingenuity grew from the chaos, pushing forward the boundaries of knowledge. Technology previously only a thing of dreams became reality... First to embrace these new wonders was the infamous Count Mesabi. After returning from his journeys to the South to a settlement in ruins, he was faced with difficult choices to make. Instead of embittering over seeing his vision destroyed, he took the opportunity to boldly go where no minifig had gone before: Embedded in a monstrosity made of wood and iron, steaming machinery propelling him step after step over the ruins of Mesabi Landing, the Count was reshaped and reborn for a new age! His forces followed him on foot and in the air: . At the same time, all over the Brick Seas minifigs followed his example. Ships rose into the air by the wonders of technology, cities were reformed by steam and cogwheel. A bright future was waiting! ==================================================================================== Era III is upon us! After long discussions the Court has decided to move the game forward in a big way: steampunk is coming to BoBS! The game mechanics will remain as they are for the most part, for example all current properties will continue to produce income. Trade by "traditional" ships will still be available as well. There will some changes though... There will be a new type of property, as well as new ship classes, both centered around steampunk. The details will be rolled out over the next weeks, in short: properties in the new steampunk category can be of any of the previous types (artisan, factory, etc.), must feature steampunk elements prominently, and will give double the income the same holds true for ships, with the added bonus of double the speed both steampunk properties and steampunk ships will cost +50% in license costs Get building right now, the new rules will be operational for the upcoming MRCA turn! This has been in the works for some time now, it is exciting to finally reveal this new direction of BoBS! We hope to breathe new life into the game for existing players, as well as attract new players. You might have questions - ask away!
  23. Apart from the guard outside, the complete lack of windows makes this look very "un-residency". I mean: who would like to live in this? Great build though!
  24. Good issue once again, thanks for the hard work!
