GoH 10 B: Kilohr Outpost at the Isles of Solitude
Ecclesiastes replied to Dan Church's topic in Guilds of Historica
It's truly awesome seeing a long-time member coming back to join this contest. Also a solid remake of the watchtower. Great angle at the base and those corners are giving it a very sturdy look! -
A very solid remake. Fun to see how your skills and style have evolved over time!
-
Might be the easiest recognizable remake compared to the original! And we need to use Duplo more often!
-
To be honest, this is one of those remakes where the first one might be even better. That said, I love all the subtle little details like the hood filled with herbs and that table is just awesome! And I might steal that light brick system one day

Goh 10 B: Once upon a time in Kaliphlin...
Ecclesiastes replied to Exetrius's topic in Guilds of Historica
This is one of those mocs where you'd love to see other additions next to it. Expanding the wall with more towers and gatehouses while having a vibrant world behind it. It has nice crenelations and a solid wall texture. And cool details like the fountain, the connected trees and that kitchen is top notch in such a small space. And I also like seeing the progress in building and photo skills compared to the old version. Great work!- 11 replies

Neat approach of the wooden structures being built in the old moc and the final stone wall in this one. I really like your crenelations and that wheelchair is perfect!

GoH 10 B: The Great Lighthouse of Barqa
Ecclesiastes replied to Gideon's topic in Guilds of Historica
Another great example of seeing how a builder evolved over the years. Of course new parts help, but you can clearly see you are more creative with parts now. Those domes, snotted tower, the texture of the waves and arched windows are all perfect examples of that. And while doing that you've managed to make it clear it was based on your previous lighthouse. It has been a pleasure to see all your builds over the years! -
GoH 10 B: A History of Akmaddian Centaurs and Chariots

Nice upgrade, I like that you've expanded it with a chariot while still staying true to the original. Cool minifig combos as well!- 6 replies

GoH 10 B: Back to Svalg Keep
Ecclesiastes replied to Louis of Nutwood's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great upgrade. The placement of the gate, the wooden roof on both of the towers, and the roots on the wall where previously the trees were are all recognizable. It's also shows how your building style has evolved, very neat to see! -
This entry definitely is one that embraces the Ninjago City Gardens the most. Excellent execution! I love watching at all the details outside and even more all the things going on inside those tiny buildings. It's like looking at catalog pictures of a great set and drooling all over it. Amazing stuff!
-
Awesome, so colorful as well and it flows together perfectly. Plenty of details as well. I like the use of cloth, nicely placed. The upgrade of that canoe is amazing as well, never thought of doing that! And that shot with the lights is just magical!

These olive green plants seem to be invasive to Cedrica Great stuff all over, I like the choice for just one central building. This way there's a lot of attention to details, like the wall texture and usage of the rollerskates and unikitty tails. And I personally really like seeing those dragon masters!
-
This is such a joy to look at. The color choice is bold but totally works. Also nice thinking of making a piece of wall, an important part of the city for sure. And I assume all the white patches on the tower is seagull poo? Which is hilarious!!
-
Nice one! You are showing that you don't need tall buildings to have a lot of activity. I like all the different styles of woodwork on the doors and windows. The interiors are small, but filled with neat details like the tan ingot floor and the candleholder on the wall.

Goh 10 A: Kaliphlin District of Cedrica
Ecclesiastes replied to jtooker's topic in Guilds of Historica
You've captured the Kaliphlin feel perfectly. It's also a nice touch to dedicate a whole district to a guild, which makes sense. Also nice details and color combinations. I really like the use of the dark red triangular tile on the woodwork! -
Fixed that. But pretty sure our judge will be looking at your topic closely instead of just using this picture!

GoH 10 A Life in Cedrica: Beneath the shadow of the capital
Ecclesiastes replied to kahir88's topic in Guilds of Historica
This is one of my favorites! Cool story, but what steals the show is the way you thought out of the box. Following the coin, a great way of introducing a whole next-level society that is so different from the clean and proper way of living above ground. -
Love those half timbered houses, especially from the side where they go up. Also a well built ship, and a nice choice of have a larger part of water while still have a building as centerpiece!

GoH 10A : The craft district of Cedrica
Ecclesiastes replied to MrLind's topic in Guilds of Historica
Awesome, I like how you've managed to put seperate buildings on a 32x32 footprint. While still have details like the angled channel in the middle. And those interiors are a joy to like at, love seeing so many crafts from all corners of Historica! -
As always, such a clean prestentation. I like how the houses fit together so well but have different details like the styles of roof. Also neat interiors, really like those beds. And the sewers are a great touch as well!
