. Throughout Cedrica there are Forums located. Here people can discuss all kinds of problems regarding the city with City Officials. Noisy neighbors, discussing a public feast, complaining about clogged drains, you name it. It also serves as a court for small crimes like peeing in the river. The location of this forum is one with historical value. When Revolword unleashed his elemental creatures these two "Sister" towers were a safe haven for many. The tree that grows out of the building is a still visible reminiscent of that period. It grew out of a slain elemental. Left: Small hostel kitchen. Right: Winery Winery storage Someone ordered a take away turkey. Hostel dorm Large staircase Walkway Meeting room Judge housing Tower All existing modulars so far: Modules:

OLD: REVAMP: This category appealed to me the most. The guilds have always been about growing as a builder within a supportive community. And it's insane how many talented builders we have. Now and in the past. There are even multiple guildies who work for LEGO now. And looking at my own mocs, and others as well, this community has made me a better builder. Thanks to all! Though I planned to rebuild one of my older fortresses, the deadline was getting closer and closer and I just don't have the time I used to have. So I lowered the bar a bit for myself and went for this one, a whopping 10 years old!!

VIDEO In a city with water, transport by boat is an easy way to transport goods through the city. Sometimes boats need an upgrade or a quick repair. No one gets the job done faster than the Golden Owl. Their reputation is known throughout Historica. And while you are waiting, make sure to grab an ale at the tavern. Which is part of the larger Drunken Pony Chain. As always it's quite busy with daily life. A new boat is being christened, a woman is walking her dog, a wealthy man is going to spend his money on booze and a few Mitgardians are looking for a rogue elf.

Missed that one Entry max 32x32. So yes, that smaller 16x32 should be a separate entry. -

Post your GoH 10 A entries in this topic. GoH 10 A: Life in Cedrica Build a part of Historica's capital on a 32x32 base "Ninjago City" style. So make sure it has a part of water, connector bricks at the right spots and of course interiors! It can be a rural part, fortified barracks, harbor, etc. It can even be 2x 16x32. For example: 1st Prize: 31120 +Awesome printed commemorative bricks and some goodies. 2nd Prize: 71735 +Awesome printed commemorative bricks and some goodies.

Celebrating Guilds of Historica, final contest!

Good to hear! I started as well! It also might be a good example of how little water you need to make sure it meets the "Ninjago City"(and now of course Cedrica City) standards. -
This thing is glorious! Filled to the brim with details. It's often hard to pull off a black build but you've nailed it. And I love the added interiors, which always make a moc more polished. What I like most is the brick-built masts, I haven't seen those like that before!

Celebrating Guilds of Historica, final contest!

A little overhang is allowed, as is shown in my examples and even in the Ninjago City sets. Keep in mind that it should be more on the back and front, because on the sides it would prevent it from being able to connect to another building. Not much is written about Cedrica, that's why we are giving it attention now. I do find it funny that it's being compared to Venice. Plenty of old cities used to have canals as it was a perfect way of transport. Cities like Amsterdam and Utrecht for example here in The Netherlands. And those aren't located in the middle of the sea like Venice.
