  1. ...and as @gedren_y had cited in another topic, the Atlantis theme's Squid Warrior figure.
  2. Huh, good call on the Hidden Side wingpack reusage idea. That figure's headpiece would look a little creepier recolored for such a CMF compared to the Series 13 Alien Trooper's head, especially with its more textured forehead and inset eye sockets, vaguely similar to this artist's impression:
  3. Well, have you even checked @leafan's index? Some of the projects featured are quite extraordinary...
  4. As a one-off generic CMF though, perhaps they could get away with it? From what I've read, Lovecraft's Cthulhu does somewhat remind me of Stranger Things' Mind Flayer from Season 2 in a couple of ways, so... OMG, I just love that contest entry of yours, as I don't see many LEGO Atlantis MOCs very often!!!
  5. Anybody here yet seen @paokus's latest project? LEGO Ideas - The President's Office
  6. Huh, 16+ eh? I'll say, both figures are looking pretty good, though I was expecting the Demogorgon to have a headpiece more akin to Series 18's Flower Pot Girl CMF. Oh yeah, Dustin's looking great too, as they did a nice job with his hat/hair combo!
  7. By the way, I was asking about this on different topic the other day, and I thought I'd ask here too: Would a CMF inspired after H.P. Lovecraft's "Cthulhu Mythos" be too obscure or macabre for Lego to touch upon? I've seen some cool artwork in the past for pulpy, Lovecraft-inspired RPGs, and I thought that a humanoid Octopus monster would make for an interesting villainous CMF archetype. But, after looking a little further into many of the themes Lovecraft's works explore, maybe it's not the greatest of ideas? Yeah, and all we know at this point is that it has sixteen figures, but nothing else to work on...
  8. About a week ago, @just2good and @Ashnflash had followed up the above CMF Draft with a second one for Endgame's theatrical release over the weekend. Yeaaaah, I too noticed right off the bat about here wingpack, and it's just too hard to believe as mere coincidence...
  9. I've often seen others repurpose that head for their own "Cthulhu" humanoids and the such, and I've wondered on occasion if Lego had originally designed that head for such a purpose. I mean, would Lego do something in the vein of H.P. Lovecraft's work and his "Cthulhu" mythos for a generic Collectable Minifigure and/or playtheme, or is it all considered too macabre/morbid? * * P.S. I know very little about Lovecraft's stuff myself beyond circumstantial knowledge BTW.
  10. The latter unfortunately, and I thought we'd hear of at least something for Series 19 now that official images for many other themes' summer waves have come about this week. I mean, for the whole time this topic has lain untouched since then, I wish it'd been active and bustling with wistful speculation and wishlisting to fill that time, but hardly nobody seems at all interested.

  12. Looks like Hermione Granger in the upcoming Hogwarts Clock Tower set has a nice Reddish Brown recolor of 15499, the hairpiece only seen previously in Dark Orange and Bright Light Yellow for the S15 Queen and The Lego Movie's Calamity Drone CMFs respectively. Plus, TLJ Luke Skywalker's hairpiece has also received a Reddish Brown recolor in another HP set.
  13. Perhaps the key in measuring various IPs for acceptability, is in how much/to what degree a particular property revels in certain aspects that Lego tends to stray away from? I mean, Stranger Things isn't exactly comparable to your typical slasher flick, something that does indeed revel (or should I say, bathe) in those avoided aspects.
  14. It is, there’s a fair bit of gore and scares. I think Lego are edging towards producing more adult sets. They’ve really gathered a larger adult market over the past few years, and with all the 80s stuff, then 007, and now this, I think they’re going fully towards some adult themed sets. Nothing too crazy, I doubt we’d ever get game of thrones or something like that. But something like stranger things that walks the line If Stranger Things' main characters were instead high schoolers/young adults like Steve, Nancy, and Jonathan, I feel like we wouldn't be seeing this set today. In a way, it's like the series' younger main characters gloss over any of the issues Lego would've otherwise had with the show. I don't know...
  15. Everyone's pretty sure it's going to be the rumored Stranger Things D2C...
  16. Well, remember what came of this rumor? Yeah, nothing apparently.
  17. Dang @paokus, you've really seemed to have really hit a gold mine with Pirate-themed Ideas projects, as this beauty of yours has already garnered more than 1100 supporters!
  18. My bets are pretty much on it being Joyce's House as depicted only in the first season, with perhaps one or two side builds (preferably Hopper's truck and/or Fort Byers) and extra parts to "Upside-Down" those builds (alternatively, I could see the house in particular possibly being "half our reality/half Upside-Down" like you suggested).
  19. Looking good! I like his usage of that newer shoulder wear part.
  20. This summer's Hogwarts Clock Tower set may be of interest to some here. The Brick Fan - LEGO Harry Potter Summer 2019 Official Set Images
  21. To top it off even a little further, its got a Dark Red "leather" driver's seat, just like the '06 set too!
