  1. By the way, regarding that "Zebra" theme, @Falconfan1414 mentioned in an Instagram "story" of his that it's gonna be a "game-changer" as he put it... Hmmm, perhaps as a UniKitty-style TV show tie-in theme built around Benny?
  2. If so, then he's suggesting a pretty hardcore revival of such, which I find kinda hard to take seriously.
  3. β€œAs f*ck” probably. Nah, that couldn't be.
  4. Like I had said, it would remain around the same size if each page featured two CMF profiles rather than just one.
  5. I do hope you're right on that, because recently the subforum has seemed to have been forgotten about by nearly everyone.
  6. Ah, interesting... But, all these topics we're discussing were posted in the Embassy weren't they? Are LEGO Ambassadors here still taking note of all and any recent input to that subforum?
  7. According to @dimaks13, those are supposed to belong to set numbers 41900 through 41919. Huh, those mentions of Exo-Force and Classic Space reboots as considered options are rather intriguing; but, what's that AF in "Classic Space AF Theme" supposed to stand for?
  8. So, if that's really the case for playthemes, what does that say about requests here from fans for new parts and further Collectable Minifigure archetypes? Since the official Embassy suggestion topics for those are still open, does that mean TLG's still taking note of those at least?
  9. Don't forget LEGO's Adventurers! I mean, the closest thing to that right now is maybe the Jurassic World theme, though I do hope that really isn't an inhibition to such like LEGO Star Wars is to further in-house Space themes currently. Well, I'd gladly settle for a Steampunk/Vernian successor to both the Rock Raiders and Power Miners themes myself...
  10. So sorry to necro-bump this topic, but I thought this might be the best place to ask this: For what reason(s) were these two topics of @CopMike's closed back then? While the Embassy subforum has currently open topics for suggesting new parts/recolors and new CMF archetypes to TLG, why isn't there a similar such topic open currently for proposing new playthemes to TLG through LEGO Ambassadors besides these two closed ones?
  11. For speculation's sake, if this "Leaf" theme is instead a System-based "big-bang" playtheme rather than a constraction line, what previously-existing themes/genres could it possibly take after? Much like how Ninjago took after the Ninja subtheme of the late '90s and Nexo Knights somewhat fused Castle with Space, what form could the next "big-bang" theme take, whether or not this upcoming "Leaf" theme is such?
  12. This probably doesn't need to be asked, but after Sep. 1st, will we be able to share our two Series worth of entries here on this topic?
  13. By the way @Robert8, have you ever considered an archetype based upon/inspired by Jules Verne's Captain Nemo for a future Series?
  14. Including the first ten series as well as 11-20 would either decrease the detail on all minifigures or increase the price. I can’t imagine them giving a full page to 320+ figures Technically an updated encyclopedia would be featuring a little more than double the figures, so if each page of the first edition profiled a single CMF, the updated edition would spilt that single page between two CMF profiles, thereby keeping the book around the same size as the first edition.
  15. The suggestion here was that this should go with a new series 11-20 handbook, to pair with the one on the 1-10 handbook. Huh, I was presuming such a book would be an update of the first visual encyclopedia, acting next time as a handbook for Series 1 through Series 20. I hadn't even contemplated that it could instead be a complementary second volume.
  16. As far as Japan's homegrown IPs and genres go, don't forget Kaiju Cinema! I myself would love to see Toho's Godzilla franchise come to Lego in some capacity!

That guy's stuff is impressive!!!
  18. It may be simple, but I like how you've constructed the window blinds and mounted the fluorescent lamp fixture.
  19. I really dig(dug) the '80s vibe you've evoked with the vignette's tiling work.

  22. Despite his intentional resemblance to Johnny Thunder, it doesn't look like Lego will be branding this CMF as an Adventurer, as JB Spielwaren lists him as a "Jungle Explorer" instead. So, I feel there's still hope for a properly represented Adventurer archetype down the road in a future Series.
  23. Agreed, I still think that Series as a whole had the best selection over any CMS that came both before and after fact.
  24. Heh, no kidding, I was certainly not expecting the inclusion of such in one of your own Series! Now, while the design is fitting within the contextual continuity of your Series, if Lego were to attempt their own take on such a CMF archetype, I'd wish for such an official figure not to use a specialized head but rather a standard one paired with a new, Deco-Streamlined helmet design. Sure, back in 2013 when Lego introduced that hat/hair mold of Butch Cavendish's, Hugh Jackman's Van Helsing was the first thing I thought of too! Could you imagine a themed CMS from Lego entirely made up of Jazz Age archetypes such as those? Makes me think of this piece of fan art for a series of bizarrely-styled Chibi collectable concepts...
