  1. Are you already familiar with @MinibrickProductions's and @The Brick King's CMF Drafts for the characters?
  2. Any fans of Disney's 2001 animated film Atlantis: The Lost Empire around here?
  3. I know we had zombies in Lego form in the past but isn't a full on zombie theme a bit too much for Lego standards? Perhaps, hence why I suggested that such a theme might go with "curable" zombies rather than undead corpses, though you could say that's pretty much what Hidden Side's already done with its possessed denizens.
  4. Say @Bugbot20082, have you yet seen GunnBuilding's submission to LEGO Ideas yesterday? LEGO Ideas - Subpod from Atlantis: The Lost Empire
  5. Make that 24 now, with a 25th imminent today having less than twenty supporters to go... The Brick Fan - LEGO Ideas The Legend of Zelda BotW: Hyrule Castle Achieves 10,000 Supporters
  6. CONGRATULATIONS @brettcuv!!! The Brick Fan - LEGO Ideas The Iron Giant: 20th Anniversary Edition Achieve 10,000 Supporters
  7. With you too on that, I just loved that movie's spacecraft designs! They had just right balance of comic strip colorfulness balanced with a more worn, retro/rustic charm that you'd otherwise see from Star Wars. A Space theme with spacecraft designs much like this guy's work would be pretty sweet to see for instance... ArtStation - Alejandro Burdisio
  8. Uh oh, you‘ve just hit @Digger of Bricks‘s berserk button, this won‘t end well Nah, it's cool, I get where he's coming from... ...but seriously, it is easy enough replacing colored windscreens with neutrals given that pretty much every mold already has a more muted recolor, so they might as well take advantage of every justifiable opportunity for the sake of Classic Spacers. I'm sure you already know that by now...
  9. Huh, a Post-Apocalyptic theme set after a robot uprising? Yeah, I guess that's more the route I've previously envisioned Lego taking such a theme.
  10. And Classic Space builders... ...but yeah, I suppose all the Black these sets offer make them more worthwhile for Blacktron builds.
  11. Then again, would Lego do a theme with undead zombies as its focus? Maybe they'd instead go the route of brainwashed, curable zombies, as undead infected corpses might be a bit too morbid (at least as a playtheme's central antagonists).
  12. Well, in regards to aliens, not only would there be a lotta creative freedom given for such from a minidoll theme, they'd have a better chance being typecast as benevolent rather than antagonistic like most minifigure-based themes have historically done. Huh, never seen those before... Well, I do think it'd have a better chance done as a more colorful, exotic Space Opera inspired theme rather than something more like Star Trek.
  13. Ya know, would an in-house Zombie Apocalypse theme count as a "Horror/Spooky" theme, or would it be more thought as just an Action theme?
  14. Absolutely with you guys on the Space theme idea, especially if it went the Flash Gordon/Buck Rogers route aesthetically. A Minidoll Space theme wouldn't likely be inhibited or affected by Star Wars; and because of Star Wars, we may never see an in-house minifigure-based Space Opera theme anyway, so a Minidoll one would be the ticket. Sure, I'd lament that it hasn't minifigures that'd be more useful to me, but at least it'd likely offer new raygun and headgear molds and recolors that can be "figbarfed" for custom purist minifigures; and if the spacecraft builds are as awesome as General Mayhem's craft was, then I'd be sold.
  15. Not a weird opinion at all. For me these capes are a highlight in what are otherwise 3 extremely boring sets Nuh uh, the MPV of these sets are those two new Trans-Yellow windshield/canopy recolors...
  16. Well, then I'm sure you'll dig this latest submission from this morning... LEGO Ideas - Wolfpack Hideout: Old King's Castle by tomaaki
  17. Sure enough, it is just Trans-Black... ...on the other hand, we've also got clearer pics of the other set that does have Trans-Yellow recolors! PromoBricks - LEGO SuperHeroes: All Summer 2020 Marvel & DC Sets
  18. I'm getting the same thing for the first few pages of an older topic I tried to revisit today, though it isn't the case for the same topic's most recent pages...
  19. Well, there is a more likely chance I'm wrong, as a leaked 360-view of the set clearly shows it has a Trans-Black canopy instead, though to me the 360 has something of an unfinished, preliminary quality about it? * * Eh, it must be wishful thinking on my part perhaps.
  20. Looks like not one, but TWO more projects have joined the First 2020 Review Stage just today... The Brick Fan - LEGO Ideas Queen: The Miracle Express Achieves 10,000 Supporters The Brick Fan - LEGO Ideas Futurama Planet Express Headquarter, Spaceship and Crew Achieves 10,000 Supporters
  21. Anyone here wish to see Gravity Falls make a comeback in some way, or do you feel it's better left as it had concluded? A little while ago, I'd rewatched both seasons of the show after having first checked it out only last August; and while I was quite satisfied with the way it wrapped-up, I still wish there could be at least a follow-up miniseries or maybe Disney + movie (much like the one upcoming for Phineas and Ferb).
  22. Undoubtedly so, since as characters they're more likely Warner Bros' IP rather than Lego's... Well, Spider-Man is in Disney's and Sony's court rather than Universal's; so if we were to ever see such a thing, Universal likely would have nothing to do with it. Agreed. They better damn sure kick-off their own "LCU" with an original story/set of characters like WB had done rather than an IP crossover off the bat.
  23. Hopefully these are alright to share here, but @promobricks has posted some low-res box art images of the three upcoming Batman sets for this summer, and I wanna say that the largest isn't the only one to come with new Trans-Yellow canopy recolors... ...so 76160 appears to have recolors of 35379 and 42504, while 76159 might have an unprinted Trans-Yellow recolor of 91140?
  24. Bubble canopy appears to be 35379, which has only been in Transparent. I think the windscreen on the front of the truck is 42504, which has been made in Transparent, Tr. Light Blue, and Tr. Brown, as well as opaque black and white. Having had a closer look, yeah, the oval bubble canopy looks to be the larger one that you cited, which is pretty awesome considering we've had the smaller one in Trans-Yellow for awhile now... ...also, does it look like the "Grevious Starfighter" canopy on the Batmobile in 76159 has also been recolored in Trans-Yellow? Doesn't at all look to be the case in the 360-view for the set, yet the box art looks to say otherwise?
  25. Well, not only does it look like Creator's Three-In-One Space Rover set will certainly be of interest to those here, but an upcoming leaked Batman set looks to have two new Trans-Yellow canopy/windshield recolors... PromoBricks - LEGO Creator Summer Sets 2020: Pictures and Information Oh, and here's a good look at that previously-discussed helmet from City's upcoming Diver subtheme...
