  1. Besides Rick O'Connell, it should also be mentioned here that Poe's torso also kinda evokes Nathan Drake's outfit from the third Uncharted game...
  2. Wow, I had never previously read these Reddit comments of @Nabii's before, as I don't believe I've ever seen the Dieselpunk & Sky-Fi genres officially acknowledged so directly by a TLG representative! Hmmm, now I have to wonder if he'd confirmed there that Dieselpunk had been toyed with in the past as a playtheme concept; or, could it be that TLG may have unjustly jumped to the conclusion that all other Retrofuturistic "punk" genres would perform as poorly as Steampunk had, thereby never giving Dieselpunk an upfront chance?
  3. One other figure I should mention that 2019 has given us which should be of interest to us fellow Adventurers is Poe Dameron from 75249 Resistance Y-Wing Starfighter, as he sports an outfit I find to be evocative of Brendan Fraser's Rick O'Connell from The Mummy...
  4. Eh, his shading really should've been color-reversed, with Bright Blue muscle "shading" upon an Earth Blue torso like I'd suggested a few pages back.
  5. I should add, if one needed further hope in this "hunch" regarding a potential Expert BTTF DeLorean, consider that there once was a UCS-scaled BTTF DeLorean that achieved support on LEGO Ideas but was then rejected in review. Furthermore, think how sets such the UCS Sandcrawler, the UCS Helicarrier, and the Ghostbusters HQ had forebearers in the form of rejected LEGO Ideas projects... 6. Looks to me like a passable-enough comic variant, so I'm quite content with it to be honest.
  7. I can also see Garrick is sporting something of a Rocketeer-esque jacket rather than just a pull-over shirt...
  8. That's quite disappointing to be honest, as not only has Lego had plenty of opportunities to shoehorn such a variant into any past playset, this figure won't even have dual-molded legs for red boots (since he lacks such). Well, the only way I'd probably be interested in this CMF is if he were Earth Blue rather than traditional Bright Blue. Interesting to hear that you're interested in this part... ...I suppose you have particular designs for it in mind, perhaps for a custom Roman god Mercury CMF? Or maybe an Art Deco automobile hood ornament? It's a bit bulky-looking, but it's just so DECO...
  9. Why the hell were they not included in the first place?! When they first appeared, I somewhat speculated to myself that they belonged to this upcoming Cap figure and were made available beforehand through BAM.
  10. She has a rather interesting-looking HUD print as her alternate face. Kinda giving me some Ready Player One vibes somewhat.
  11. Well, the LEGO Brand store's Build-A-Minifigure part selection has started offering some dual-molded legs that'd be fitting for Cap in particular...
  12. It isn't a rumor necessarily, just a hunch. Like I said... As you may know, the last three Creator Expert cars were 2016's 10252 Volkswagen Beetle, 2018's 10262 James Bond Aston Martin DB5, and this year's 10265 Ford Mustang, which were exactly three of the proposals put forth by that 2008 fan poll.
  13. Congratulations @BrickProject!!!

  15. Maybe so, but one can at least upgrade their Clutch Powers with the figure's dual-molded legs if they wish!
  16. Apparently, it was eventually revealed to have belonged to an antagonist in an upcoming Marvel's Avengers playset for next year.
  17. So @Captain Nemo, should this topic be moved to the Special LEGO Themes subforum?
  18. Looks like these mystery sets may be "storybooks" or something akin to LEGO Ideas' Pop-Up Book... I think I might be onto something here, stonewars have updated their 2020 list and 43174 to 43177 are "storybooks“ https://www.stonewars.de/lego-2020/
  19. So, according to @Falconfan1414...
  20. Alongside Series 19's Jungle Explorer and the official Clutch Powers figure that Ninjago has given us this year, the latest LEGO Ideas set offers us Adventurers another figure that looks to be quite useful for its parts...
