Digger of Bricks

I'm not at all a videogame guy, but I do enjoy digging into the lore of various titles and franchises with alternate historical premises, particular Bethesda's Fallout games. More recently, I've really enjoyed checking out Inon Zur's OSTs he composed for Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4, and Fallout 76...

Maybe it's just its use of Dark Red, but to me, that there totally looks like something @Bob De Quatre would build!!!

Admittedly, I will give Lego credit for giving them all a single standard head mold who's facial features are printed rather that molded on, making them more akin to the traditional minifigure's system of customizability with swappable hairpieces and all...

They look like the pieces hat were used in the Dimensions main base, the ones that went around the hole No way, this windshield piece you mean? To me, it looks like a much, much larger part, an all-new one if you ask me... ...I'll be reserving my final judgement on the build when the official images are released, but I really do like what I'm seeing so far...

OK, that windshield/canopy is almost exactly the kinda part I'd envisioned for a official SC Lambo build...

His robes could definitely be described as Wakanda meets Tron Legacy... ...heh, what the heck, I dig it!

Ah great. I should have known that Disney won't let Star Wars go that easily. And you are right... 2 years can't even be called a break.... at least not long enough break for LEGO to go back to their in-house space. Perhaps the majority of other figures are criminals who didn't get caught? I wouldn't trust some of those costumed figures! Neither do I... Maybe something close to @Robert8's take on such?

Well, one advantage I'd suggest Dieselpunk might have over Steampunk is just a bit more representation in popular/culturally-relevant media (something @Nabii highlighted there on Reddit as lacking for Steampunk); so, a fantastical WWI/WWII-era playtheme on par with Ninjago's scale and approach could more easily evoke films such as Raiders of the Lost Ark, Captain America: The First Avenger, and The Rocketeer. I mean, if Lego were to give a spiritual successor to Adventurers the "big bang" revamp treatment, I definitely think the end result would easily manifest as an outright Dieselpunk/Diesel-Pulp playtheme worthy of the label.

Perhaps @MKJoshA could just merge this topic with this one in the Culture & Multimedia subforum?

Hmmm, from the looks of this image, now I'm uncertain as to whether his helmet is Light Bluish Grey or Metallic Silver. Also, I think the jacket outline was more clearly defined in the first image rather than this latest one.

Forward-swooping wings are always a win in my book, and I'm really digging this craft's Octan-esque color scheme! It's so good to see you back "spacecrafting" again @seb71, I'm hoping there'll be more to follow soon...
