  1. Here's an interview by The Brothers Brick blog with one of my favorite architectural builders, Jeff Friesen from Instagram, who's microscale cityscape creations were featured on the blog as 2017's Creation of the Year! The Brothers Brick - Interview with Jeff Friesens of Cityscapes, The Brothers Brick Creation of the Year 2017 Whoa, extraordinary in both color and technique! I mean, look at that balcony!
  2. That first one almost looks like it could be an actual set! I guess, come to think of it, that it resembles a cross between Ideas' Old Fishing Store and the Winter Village Train Station sets from last year.
  3. Lego Space M.V.T (Multi-Vehicle-Transport) Galactic Cruiser by GBailey46 1963 Lincoln Continental by Sanoschut Red Combat Robot 01 by Yoshiota Waldorf Mammoth by zai_x All three of these finds are great, especially that first project by @thomassio!
  4. Rocketship Trio by Allister McLaren Clay's Cool Cruiser by Andrew Lee Neo Classic Space Cruiser (487) by GBailey NA The last two I posted, or the two @LegoModularFan posted? Edit: Oops, never mind, I see which two you're talking about now.
  5. Here are a few AFOL builder interviews by the YouTube channel Beyond the Brick, focused upon creations and layouts which have and have not been featured on this topic before, showing them in greater detail. Monorail City and Metalbeard's Castle by Austen & Pamela Henry-Biskup Nexo Knights Collaboration at BrickCon 2017 Brick Rogers Collaborative Display at Bricks Cascade 2018 Kel Corona at BrickFair Alabama 2018 by @Siercon and Coral Odysseus at Bricks Cascade 2018 by Jeff Bergquist
  6. Hey, cool! Looking forward to the end result!
  7. When it comes to train stations that fit within a modular display, I think this works quite nicely!
  8. This is how a Castle themed Creator Expert set should be done! Best of luck to you!
  9. The SwallowTail by Conducktor Hat's Store by Bricky_Brick Bluetron by MinifigInSpace For a Castle themed project, that looks very well executed.
  10. Have you seen @Exetrius's and @Mark Bellis's projects before? Classic Space Monorail and Space Monorail
  11. Could anyone suggest any good DC Animated features worth checking out?
  12. Excellent choice of subject for an Ideas project @fillishave! I really like how this can fit alongside other modular building without being a modular building, as so not to clash with Ideas policy about preexisting lines.
  13. The usage of Solo's hairpiece on Nick just shows how 90's/early 2000's of a hairstyle it really is.
  14. Are they though made in the same manufacturing plant as CMS lines?

  16. Certainly, just as long as parts like that more resemble bricks and less like that torso design used for Mr. Incredible in the videogame. If Lego is going to make new minifigure parts for different body types, they should at least try to design them so they can be used beyond their intended purpose, relying primarily on printing for finer, signature detailing.
  17. Good, as at least this could give the theme grounds to travel beyond Earth, I hope at least. So, if Lego is willing to use plausibly hypothetical science as inspirational source material for City subthemes, why not use a Lunar/Martian outpost as the setting for a future exploration subtheme?
  18. Oooh, this one is particularly impressive, as I'm always a sucker for most buildings with railways/highways running through them. Plus, it's built upon a 32×32 baseplate! What a beauty! The three complementary locomotives in this too are really cute!
  19. But, having said what I did about the aesthetic of past constraction lines, what has been done in the past does fit better for Technic compatible parts, whereas something with a more Zoid-like aesthetic is probably more fitting for System based sets instead.
  20. Man, that Status of Liberty is a delight for Sand Green junkies! I mean, look at all those newly recolored cut-corner 1×2 bow parts, and the Nexo shield in Sand Green too?
