OMG Robert!!! There's just too much to love with this Series! Totally worth the wait!!! For me, this Series' standouts have to be Mother Goose, that Gunslinger, the Park Ranger with that adorable fawn, Frankenstein's Bride, and of course, a most perfectly-done Archaeologist CMF!!!

The approach I'd want to see in remaking/redesigning any of the CMF from Series 1 would follow something along the line of this proposal I made a little while ago...
-
So, could we expect this standard to also come to Ninjago, Creator, Harry Potter, and Friends as well for instance?
-
For all three of those mentioned themes?
-
Oh, perhaps as a new "across-the-board" standard for City? Maybe for either DC or Marvel SuperHeroes?

That would be @paokus you're thinking of... ... congrats to him on what I believe is his third project to achieve support!!! -
Regarding Monkey Kid, will that theme be limited in its worldwide release in any way, much like how the Chinese New Year sets have been handled?
-
Wow, I'm really surprised at how knowledgeable you are regarding products a whole year down the line... No, because if the FF line happens it will have flesh tone minifigs, not yellow. So it won't replace Speed Champions? Or, will be a subtheme of such?

Why it's this piece... Brickset - Part No. 40923 ...pretty brilliant if I do say so myself. -
Heh, just came across this hypothetical CMF Draft on YouTube speculating on Series 20. The artwork ain't half bad...

Anyone recognize the backlit part sitting within the engines of this SHIPtember build from last year? -
Do you @Harkonen happen to know by any chance how many CMF this Series will be comprised of? If there's a Mr. Gold-like "chase figure" so to speak, I'd presume there's at least seventeen? As long as it's just another gimmicky figure like Mr. Gold rather than a desirable, actually-useful archetype, I'll be good over here.

Looks like Brickset has a review up of at least one of the theme's sets... Brickset - Review: 41906 Pencil Holder

2020 Creator Sets - Rumours & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
By the way @Harkonen, are you aware of any specific details pertaining to this summer's Three-In-One sets? Particularly, can you share with us any details regarding the €49.99 "Space Rover Explorer" set? -
Huh, that's actually a rather interesting question to ponder...
-
Sure, that seems to be how a lot of playthemes operate in recent years, helping make-up for where a full-on theme isn't viable at the moment for whatever reason.

LEGO Monkie Kid 2020
Digger of Bricks replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
No, that's not what we meant. We meant that we don't think LEGO would release two Asian-Inspired themes at the same time. I'm not saying LEGO could never do a Greek Mythology because they already did Pharaoh's Quest, what I'm saying is that I don't expect two see two themes like that running at the same time as each other, because there would be too much competition. Well, for as similar as Ninjago would seem to a theme based upon/inspired after Chinese mythology to us western audiences, over there they'd probably feel the same way between two different themes that respectively have American and European inspirations. -

Huh, how much less "Asian" would you say this wave will be in comparison to previous ones? Would it be fair to say it'd be more appealing to Classic Castle fans, given how much more "Western" it seems?

So, what are Leaf, IP-2 and Zebra?
Digger of Bricks replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I second this, because even though some degree of discussion about "IP-2" and "Zebra" has taken place here, the majority of it has been focused on Leaf. What do you think @Peppermint_M? Should we wait until official confirmation and certainty that "Monkey Kid" is indeed Leaf? -
New member @Harkonen has some interesting info to share regarding Ninjago that may be of some pertaince here...

Gimme any recolor of the original Spaceman CMF from that Series, as long as it isn't White again. That's the thing, I'd only be excited for remakes if they redesign or tweak them to a degree. Yes, quite true...
