  1. It's just a codename, as Hidden Side's preliminary codename was Banana.
  2. Ah, as I suspected... ...tell me, have you seen any of the individual CMF? Are the remakes redesigned in any way or are they just verbatim remakes?
  3. There've been a few suspected instances of that with other CMF, the most notable example I can remember being the S7 Galaxy Patrol CMF from 2012 preceding the following year's Galaxy Squad theme.
  4. By "old minifigs" are you talking about remakes of CMF archetypes from previous Series?
  5. Someone on 4Chan did discover a trademark application for the "Monkey Kid" name along with an accompanying logo filed by TLG... Justia Trademarks - MONKEY KID Trademark Details
  6. Yeah, something not modernistic for a change! At that price, it has to be minifig-scaled, and it sounds like @Zusammengebaut is pretty certain that it will be!
  7. . . . So is this literally Journey To The East in LEGO? If this is definitely Leaf, looks like @TeriXeri was spot on about those "Shaolin Monk" observations regarding the BigFig...
  8. Well, this is probably one of the loveliest Train-themed projects I've seen submitted to Ideas in awhile... LEGO Ideas - Vintage Train Station by HP_Brixxter As of this post, that project is just a little more than a hundred supporters away from achieving support!!!
  9. Both of those cited examples there retailed for 49.99€ and 54.99€ respectively, and given that this ship is reported to be clocking in at approximately 99.99€, I'm pretty certain they'll pull it off just fine even though it's a Three-In-One set...
  10. Yes please to any streamlined steam locomotive, be it British or American!!!
  11. Well, given the price it's situated at, consider that most past "flagship" Three-In-Ones within that range have been pretty decent-looking for being "building kits"...
  12. It could very well be of the "NASA" variety, just like 2017's 31066 Space Shuttle Explorer, though 31062 Robo Explorer from that same year did lean closer towards more of a Sci-Fi bent.
  13. Here are a few other interesting details @Zusammengebaut shared in response to questions posted in the article's comment board...
  14. I'm afraid that's all we can expect from Nuremberg, and the New York Toy Fair won't be taking place until nearer the end of February... Granted, we were lucky last year to even have an unofficial sneak-peek glimpse at Hidden Side, and that theme wasn't officially revealed until NYTF took place. Hmmm, even if Hidden Side won't live past 2020, I don't think "Leaf" necessarily is a replacement for such in any way.
  15. Well, perhaps by "Castle" they're instead suggesting an old Spanish fort?
  16. By stating that Pirates is returning "in a big way", perhaps the employee was only referencing the size of the Creator set rather than suggesting a whole theme?
  17. I'm pretty sure he's referring to set names for Ninjago's summer wave rather than Leaf's. Admittedly, I was caught off-guard by that too. Its also a licensed theme but I'm not positive with it due to lack of source even though its hinted somewhere on the web. At that price, I would've just figured that suggests "Snowflake" is Mindstorms 4.0 as others have previously speculated; but, it's rumored to be licensed???
  18. Over at Nuremberg, @Zusammengebaut also had a chance to interview the theme's Design Director...
  19. If you're out there @danth, it looks like Creator isn't getting only a Pirate Ship this summer..
  20. Well shucks, according to @promobricks, their listing of the three summer sets translated from German spells out 31107 as Space Rover Explorer... PromoBricks - LEGO Innovations for the Second Half of 2020
  21. Ah, here's a pretty nice-looking submission from this morning... LEGO Ideas - Medieval Watermill by Witz Bricks
  22. Heh, I was quite nearly ninja'd there... Yeah, it's a strange one, as I had to do a little research to figure out just why this thing had climbed so fast...
  23. Who'd ever expect not to see Police sets from City???
  24. Presumably just placeholders, as they didn't even suggest that there were details on the Series that they couldn't share.
