  1. Huh, I first saw this on @Falconfan1414's Instagram, and figured that they were a part of a new subtheme of City build around a promotional tie-in TV show. But, now that I see this image up closer...
  2. Damn, the Men in Black?! Pretty ingenious idea for an archetype if you ask me, and it's not as specific as I would've figured it'd be. Looking most forwards to the rest of the Series you've teased!
  3. Might I mention that cameo may be considered by some to be a spoiler. I'm not sure what his context is in the movie (as I haven't seen it yet), but a few editorial reviews have mentioned his appearance rather laxly. So, perhaps I'm wrong for thinking it's a spoiler, but consider that Lego hasn't openly promoted his role in it. I don't know...
  4. What's suggesting that they're part of new playtheme rather than a subtheme of City?
  5. Is this what that Instagram post of yours referencing @Falconfan1414, the one naming the two characters Jack and Parker? I was just wondering if there were any descriptions particularly making note of the spacecraft's color schemes.
  6. As translated by Google, with mention of the alternate builds for each of those three sets...
  7. The entire subtheme is defined by that?! Huh, but, only one of the set names mentioned in an Instagram post of yours explicitly mentions Mars. Are there any descriptions of the individual sets by any chance?
  8. Well, I couldn't see a new in-house Adventurers theme coexisting with Indiana Jones at the exact same time. But, hypothetically, perhaps they could launch the former during the first half of 2020, release a second and third wave for summer 2020 and winter 2021 respectively, and then put that theme on hiatus for the revived Indiana Jones theme to tie into the release of the fifth installment for July of that year.
  9. Oooooh, one of my long-time favorite architectural creations has just been submitted to LEGO Ideas! LEGO Ideas - Craftsman Style Cottage (a.k.a. 715 Willowbrook Lane) by Tim Inman
  10. Well, many feel other Action/Adventure themes and genres are being held back from happening due to Ninjago seemingly acting as a cover-all for that entire segment of playthemes. I can't say whether I find that to be the case or not; but, nonetheless, it is rather ridiculous that's it's the only Action/Adventure theme currently standing. If Lego were indeed treating Ninjago as its sole, all-encompassing Action/Adventure theme, is it a fair representation? ABSOLUTELY NOT. What can I say? CREATOR is the perfect outlet for an infinite number of homeless themes and genres, and yet it shamefully underutilized. All of those came after the prequel trilogy had made its run, and Galaxy Squad was the last to be seen before The Force Awakens hit theaters.
  11. Of course, as it's not really a well-established term in AFOL vernacular; so, as of now, it's up to each's own definition.
  12. Can you (or anyone else here for that matter) figure out what that other TBA film is supposed to be? All I can make out is that it's title is composed of two words starting with G and B respectively.
  13. Huh, I've never heard of that one before; and while I'd say it looks awfully close to a McLaren from the front, it has a side profile evocative of a modern Corvette or Cadillac, which I kinda dig!
  14. This is going a bit further off topic, but personally, I admire the designs of the dinosaur molds used in 2000's Dino Island subtheme for Adventurers. While the molds introduced for 2012's Dino are excellent designs outside of the context of the sets, they just don't seem to flesh well with the minifigure in terms of both scale and aesthetic within context of the sets they're in.
  15. The second character on the right that is?
  16. Check out what @LB2341 dug up! P.S. This is purportedly Warner Animation Group's slate of future releases, with what looks to be TBBR mentioned in the upper right-hand corner.
  17. Once upon a time, all of Marvel's creations were brand-new characters, as were the cast of The Lego Movie. All new characters become well-established characters if they stand the test of time and are well-executed from the start, so why should they stop trying? What if Warner Brothers played it safe and only used preexisting characters such as Batman for the first Lego Movie? Whoa. That's a breakthrough find you've found there! Heh, it better be.
  18. Well, imagine where the MCU would be if they stopped with further character debuts after the Avengers.
  19. *snort* I see what you did there.
  20. Who's to say it'll be a bad movie? I mean, we hardly know much about it so far, so what do you have to work with?
