  1. Huh, is that unusually early for a Creator Expert car?
  2. Check out this LEGO Ideas project that was submitted this morning! LEGO Ideas - Sky Shuttle - Airport Express by fc3sunfire Here's his demonstration of it in motion:
  3. Say, what if Lego made the next Underwater/Aquazone theme a minidoll-based line instead, thereby becoming a successor to Lego's Elves at the same time? While past Underwater/Aquazone lines have been exploration-based, how about having such a minidoll-based playtheme be more in the vein of Elves in terms of its premise, perhaps taking after DC Comics' cinematic interpretation of Atlantis in its aesthetic? Set in a fictional underwater kingdom, the theme's protagonists/inhabitants could be more akin to fish-like humanoids rather than just straight-up "merfolk" in the traditional sense. Plus, how about having its antagonists be surface-dwelling pirates piloting submersibles, perhaps inspired after Jules Verne's Captain Nemo & Company? Essentially, I guess it'd be Lego's Atlantis, but in reverse. While it's more likely to be as broad as you defined it, I think it'd be cool if it were strictly cryptozoological.
  4. As I've said elsewhere, I'm quite excited for their choice of Earth Blue this time! I mean, they could've made this a '68 Fastback instead, thereby building it predominantly in Earth Green for an official/unofficial Bullitt Mustang; but hey, this is better, as we've already received an Earth Green Creator Expert car with 2014's Mini Cooper.
  5. Oooooh, the Pilgrim Woman and Birdwatcher archetypes sound awesome! Ah, I see!
  6. So, that is supposed to be Olive Green portrayed there? Whoa, now that's a lot to pour over...
  7. Ha, would you look at that! They really didn't need to do that, but they did anyway...
  8. As I've shared over on Flickr, my standout favorites from this series are the Mounted Policeman and the Saree Girl, with honorable mention for your female counterparts to Lego's Series 5 Eskimo and Series 7 Jungle Boy CMFs! And, like I'd said there too, your Supervillain is this series' most unusually delightful surprise! Damn, it's going to be quite hard waiting until April for your Series Ñ... Speaking of such, is that supposed to be a new shade of green introduced for this archetype, or is it just simply Olive Green? Those are some excellent ideas @Drew15! Might I suggest sharing them over at this topic too! By that, do you mean renders/illustrations?!
  9. Vic Viper 1934 by Tim Gould Sword of the Black Knight and Captain Fox's Longbow Cruiser by @TheNerdyOne_ Saboteur 67 Ultra Wave Equaliser by Grantmasters Steampunk Moon City by @DwalinF T-Wing and E-Wing Starfighters by Dave Kaleta
  10. Perfect! Thanks a billion @WhiteFang!
  11. OMG you guys, @Robert8's Series N has leaked over on Flickr!!!
  12. Despite its artificial "wear" so to speak, I'm pretty sure fans of Classic Space will find some usage for BrickHeadz Benny's torso print.
  13. Looks like The Lego Movie 2 will be getting BrickHeadz sets after all! Apparently, four caricatures of Emmet, Lucy, General Mayhem, and BENNY in BrickHeadz form have been leaked!
  14. By the way @WhiteFang, after having our first look at this year's Creator Expert car, should this topic perhaps be edited for discussion encompassing years before and beyond 2018 for this subtheme of Creator Expert's, as suggested earlier?
  15. Excellent idea for a topic @Vilhelm22! Regarding what you said pertaining to modern skyscrapers, yeah, there's just not much that can be done technique-wise with such uniformly monotone structures; but, having said that, I would love to see skyscrapers from the earlier parts of the twentieth century, namely NYC's Chrysler Building, as that wouldn't be as monotone of a subject matter to make for an interesting build.
  16. I'm not sure how retailers have historically handled the brand elsewhere, but here in the Chicago area, local Walmarts just started carrying Playmobil products for the first time; so, TLG may be considering them as such more than ever as further retailers start carrying their products. Well, I was only commenting on where I am expecting its aesthetic to lean more towards, not so much its construction. Hey, that'd be kinda cool!
  17. Hey, has anyone here taken note of Playmobil's own line of "Mars Mission" playsets for this year? Playmobil Shop - Space Man, I'd love to see something that retro from Lego, but my guess is that it'll be more akin to 7315 Solar Explorer.
  18. Well, it's likely that both Fabuland figures were just dug out of TLG's inventory of past products for the occasion, whereas I'm pretty certain any "never-before-seen" figures are more likely than not to be a part of upcoming products.
  19. So, "glassy" has to be implying that part in question is transparent rather than a solid color, right? Plus, it's likely to be the smaller MF canopy part rather than the newer, larger one utilized by the 2017 UCS set, I guess?
  20. Thanks for sharing this @Lyichir! I think I may see a few slight possibilities for upcoming 2019 summer and/or 2020 winter sets watching those three interviews featured there, particularly for some the Apocalypseburg vehicles highlighted at the 1:10 mark of this video: Plus, presumable upcoming physical figures for "minidoll Edward Cullen" and "SysStar Benny" appear at the 3:12 mark of this interview:
  21. I know it's a translation, but, what the heck is that supposed to mean?
  22. Damn, a '67 Fastback in EARTH BLUE?!!! That's way more exciting than flat ol' Light Bluish Grey! Can't wait to see who the designer of this beauty is, as it's quite a stunner.
