The Brothers Brick - Go back to Bedrock with 21316 The Flintstones, the newest LEGO Ideas set [News] -
At $89.99, I'm pretty much expecting the train set to be Monster Fighter's Ghost Train 2.0, but how exactly will it differ? Will it still take after a Nineteenth Century American steam locomotive, or could it instead be a modern diesel? Like the high school set, could it transform? Will it have plain old Black train wheels, or could we finally see some novel recolors of such? P.S. I am excited to see the Flame Yellowish Orange recolor of that VW Beetle arch brick on the school bus. That's kinda strange logic. If you don't care for minidolls, shouldn't the fact that this theme instead has minifigures make you grateful that at least there'll be some possible future incentive down the road?

Are the Creator Expert trains finished?
Digger of Bricks replied to CSW652's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Well, for as long as the revived Harry Potter theme stays around, a D2C Hogwarts Express would more likely find its self under that theme rather than Creator Expert. Plus, it may be a little while before that ever happens, as we just had a non-D2C playset of the Hogwarts Express released last year. -
By the way, does anyone here know where each of these individual images making up this IG collage post source from?

Besides the Scooby Doo and Ghostbusters comparisons, anyone getting any Time Cruisers/Time Twisters vibes from what's been seen so far? This was awfully spot on...

Jurassic World 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
I haven't been paying much attention to any of the set news/rumors for this theme beforehand, but I certainly was not expecting to see a "Freemaker" styled wave of TV show tie-in sets come from it, let alone a freaking T-REX MECH. But hey, they are pretty decent looking, and I was wondering when they'd give us the Triceratops mold again! Plus, for being as insanely uncalled for as it may be, that mech is pretty damn cool-looking taken out of context, and the set's T-Rex recolor is kinda different. Sure, but that new head mold alone can most definitely be reused for such! -
While I can't say much for the build being a 4+ set and all, I am really quite happy that they haven't gone with specialized heads for Buzz, Woody, and Bo! Granted, having Woody's/Jessie's long arm and leg molds from the original theme return would've been a big plus for me; but, to compensate, we've instead got ourselves some new headgear molds to reuse elsewhere from Woody and Bo Peep, something you couldn't have gotten from specialized heads once again.

Yeeeeah, that's something I could've never expected to see from the Jurassic World theme...

Anyone want to talk about the Mars Mission Sets?
Digger of Bricks replied to LegoDW's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
A leaked catalog image showcasing a few of the upcoming Avengers: Endgame sets include a new Quinjet build in Earth Blue and Trans-Light Orange predominately. Namely, it has Trans-Light Orange recolors of 35303 (a.k.a. the Speed Champions canopy) and what looks to be 35404 from TLBM Batmobile. -
