LEGO Ideas Discussion
Trekkie99 replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
@jonwil you've about summed it up! However the windmill, Sega arcade, and Red Arrows Hawk would have been cool. I also forget how Lego already has a license with Jeep thru Ferrari and those guys. As for the Tron light cycle itself, I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out! -
The latter of all of them for me. However, choosing between the wizard and the diver was tricky. But, again, I chose the latter.

The Greatest Pirate Set of all times! THANKS FOR PLAYING

Enchanted island and Imperial trading outpost. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! -
This is awesome! Rarely do you see skyscraper MOCs. Probably because of all the windows one would need to buy... Also, I love the infrastructure design. Especially the protected, green bike lane. Two thumbs up! PS. Starbucks coffee is better!

The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
Trekkie99 replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Awesome!!! Space minecart! As for the fact that the rest of the set is yellow like most City Mining sets, it makes me wonder what would make a cool yellow and (add awesome contrasting color + translucent color ) space theme? Example: Yellow with "friends blue" + translucent pink?- 991 replies

That's the Murcury, my favorite as well! My other favorite train* (although not a steam locomotive) is the BR Class 08 Diesel Shunter. A very popular model for AFOLs to make in Lego it seems. (Actually my most favorite! )* PS. Cool topic BTW.

I saw a video of a design just like that on YouTube. Genius to say the least!

I'm reading the Adventures of Tintin series. Awesome series!

I wouldn't know of any blueprints I could recommend, however I'd imagine it'd be fairly simple with a combination of assorted parts. Example: Battery box, m motor, technic turntable, assorted plates to make the turntable base, etc. On an added note, putting in "Lego turntable" in a YouTube search yields plenty of results, and can give you some great ideas for making your own.

Well Town had some things that City lacks. But Creator does have a "Town" feel about it. As for Bionicle, they did bring it back, but it flopped. Fine with me because I never personally liked that form of building system. I actually like to call Bionicle a "Bandaid" -
The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
Trekkie99 replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
The potential this could hold for space MOCs/sets could possibly be many things! For example, a space mine cart! Anyone have more ideas on what this system could hold potential wise? On a side note, maybe we'll get a sweet space themed roller coaster!- 991 replies
