  1. 42065 is good, it has 2 M-motors, battery box, receiver, and a remote. But if you are looking for something on the cheap side, 8293 is only Power Functions, with battery box, M-motor, switch, and lights.
  2. I agree, it looks good, but you shouldn't call it a McLaren, the title should be more like: [MOC] Lego super car/concept car
  3. Did you get non-Lego tubing? - because the really old Lego tubing is also very stiff. And welcome to Eurobricks!
  4. Just a couple of questions I can now answer: You have to go to the post you have used it in, end then edit it out. You can go directly to the posts from "my attachments". No, it isn't. It doesn't appear in "my attachments", so it isn't an upload.
  5. I made a LDD model of an example of a stronger axle: (beams are in different colours for clarity) But don't forget to add the other parts you already have made .
  6. That is a bit out of the usual (time frame), but it would be interesting...
  7. You can easily strengthen the rear axle by swapping out the small beams with 4 9L beams per side. I thought it looked like yours!
  8. My sets have all had that same fate... even my favorite sets (that I want to keep built) eventually fall into pieces .
  9. Welcome to Eurobricks! @thor_64 Nice MOC, but you might want to move some of your introduction to a topic in the "Hello! My name is..." forum .
  10. They seem to be part of the structure, but not much. I don't think it would even be possible to make instructions, even if you had the parts and the time!
  11. That is the current limiter, it's the same as the one in 2847c01.
  12. Out of those, gluing and spray-painting are the worst.
  13. Hopefully they will continue to make it in more and more colors... It is one of the most useful parts to be released recently.
  14. That's a great coincidence! I will be rebuilding mine in a couple of days or so.
  15. I checked it, and you are right - it seems like you can only have immediate notifications. Not sure why that is, but I don't think that it is because it's not working
  16. Why? Wheels - the wheels will try to turn at the same speed (but they can't), which causes them to slip - and wear down the rubber slightly. Motors - forcibly slowing or speeding up motors will cause uneven wear to the gears inside of them.
  17. Try selecting (tick the boxes) the content that you want to change (if you want to change all followed content, just select the box at the top of the page - but you will have to do this for every page), then click the little bell symbol at the bottom of your screen to change them. No, it is available as soon as you join (after 1 post).
  18. I'm so amazed I can't think of anything to say, so I will just put: But 2 other statistics I'd like to know: how long did it take to build? how much did it cost? (I can't even afford 1 BWE!)
  19. 35 km/h!!! I can't believe how many times have you broken the/your record! I think you really have reached the top speed of Lego, or at least for non-modified motors...
  20. Great MOD, but like @BrickbyBrickTechnic said - it isn't really "ultimate" (but it is close!)
  21. The V2 receiver can handle at least 2x XL or 4x L, per output. If you use more than that, the battery box is more likely to stop than the receiver. (in fact, the V2 can handle way more motors than the battery box can)
  22. Any solution that stalls the motor will cause wear, and also will consume a lot of power - which can slow other motors. @TomasHubik, have you considered my solution above?
  23. I got mine from a massive bulk lot of Bionicle - which is also where I got most of my pins and axles.
  24. The servo will actually stop trying to rotate after a couple of seconds of being stopped - and will hold that position until it receives a different single/command.
