  1. This will be such a fun and crazy contest! And I have already got some ideas... But just one thing, I know videos are mandatory (and I can make one and link to it), but do I really have to embed them? (I'm not on youtube, and I don't want to join just for this) Also shouldn't the end date be the 16th of October, not 16nd... Answer:
  2. Wow, full marks for obscurity! (and hugeness!) And what a great way to introduce yourself!
  3. I can see that you already got your answer, but next time you need to identify a part, you should post it on this topic:
  4. Wacky... That sounds fun! (and it also makes me even more curious about what it is )
  5. After being confused for a while, I worked out what you meant. Those are titles, not ranks. More information here: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/1652-member-titles-questions-and-answers/ Anyway, like you said, we should not go off topic...
  6. Yes, this was also discovered in the previous test polls. But don't you mean right-click? (unless you are using a left handed mouse...)
  7. Okay... Maybe the Technic theme is blocking that too. (as well as the default theme)
  8. I just tried my trick of refreshing the page while the poll shows "voting...", and it worked. (just like the other poll)
  9. You probably should put the theme back to the default in the meantime - just so the polls work I already found a poll I want to vote on... But I can't!
  10. I get the exact same reaction as the previous test polls: Cast vote Refresh page Cast Vote Refresh Page Etc.....
  11. That would be good, I just bought some balls (beads) so I could start making some GBC stuff!
  12. I personally don't know if I like them yet... Because I only have 1 set with them in it! (so far..) That's a great idea, it better to find a use for them, rather than just keeping them separate. I noticed that... Well I guess it does look like it's dirty, but then again, I'd like to see what a brown Technic MOC looks like
  13. Or rather TC12... (TC11 was the battlebots contest - which I only missed by about a week... )
  14. I don't really have much to add here, maybe one of these topics will help:
  15. Yeah I know, and I have only just recently started it too!
  16. I had the same thing happen! One minute I'm reading a post on a topic, then all of a sudden, the page says there is a certificate error! I looks like that's the case - my history before it happened shows "http", and now it shows "https" - which I hope is good! Hmm...
  17. Me too! I just hope I get my sorting finished in time...
  18. That's understandable, not everyone can be good with computers... But, for future use, I would recommend GIMP for image editing - it has the simple basics (like brightness & contrast), but it also has some amazingly advanced features that I don't think I could even explain... But best of all, it's FREE!
  19. Yes, it's much better! (although a bit of editing to make it brighter would be good - but I think that's just me... ) Almost... Here's what is on the Eurobricks guidelines page:
  20. Yay! And great work with that editing - you can barely notice it! Now that mystery is solved, we can get back to commenting about the MOC itself...
  21. You only have a tiny amount of storage on Eurobricks (1MB), you have to use a file hosting website to store your photos - I use, and would highly recommend Bricksafe, where you get 10GB of storage! Yes, but you would have to resize it (to 800px wide) to meet the guidelines. Bricksafe has the option of selecting a pre-resized photo (link) - which would automatically embed the correctly sized photo when you paste it into your post
  22. Nice, the blue looks great! I have 4 guesses: The tail lights - they look very grainy The thing that holds the hood open - I can't tell if it's white or yellow The 3mm rigid hose above the front wheel - part of it is grey in one photo The 3x13 curved panel - it is made in blue, but the color looks off in some photos...
  23. Yes, that should be fine! But if you want, you could change the title to "[MOC][WIP] Telehandler"
  24. Well in that case... here's my feedback: you need to use fewer and more contrasting colors - 7 colors is too much, and white and light grey is too similar. the scaling is off in some areas - the boom is too big, and forks are not far enough apart. the photo background needs improving - the more uniform and colorless it is, the better. Also, that's a much better start to the topic - an introduction and a photo of the real thing.
