  1. I had a feeling you might have done that... Interesting... How did you make the crankshaft?
  2. Welcome to Eurobricks @Craig24! Have you tried googling for MOD's of it? https://www.google.com.au/search?q=lego+8043+mod&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-ab&gfe_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=__V2Wo-TC-XDXqSPgbgF There's also this "Ultimate MOD" right here on Eurobricks: It might take you a while to find the instructions, so here's a direct link: http://www.jurgenstechniccorner.com/index.php/building-instructions/39-uleimate-8043-building-instructions There's also a SBrick version: http://www.jurgenstechniccorner.com/index.php/building-instructions/86-ultimate-8043-sbrick-building-instructions
  3. No, I don't think so, but it doesn't really need to be - fan approval is enough.
  4. That's exactly what I was thinking... The only way I could see it working is with a universal joint at each end - but that would make it too weak...
  5. I only have two things to add: "Uniting Technic Fans" is correct - clones aren't called Technic. Quote from Eurobricks guidelines page: (though I'm not quite sure what best describes lepin...)
  6. Great work so far, looks like it should turn out quite good, it's amazing how well the small LA's work with that yellow crane part.
  7. Well first there was "Medium" and "Extra Large" motors, then about five years later, TLG released a "Large" motor which filled the gap perfectly, so it's hard to see why they wouldn't release a "Small" motor in the future to fill the other gap in the sequence...
  8. Here's what I'd like in PF 2.0: (probably...) Essential: Fully compatible with current PF Separate BT or 2.4Ghz RC receiver, with matching Lego remote. Real-time proportional control. S-Motor Optional: Slightly smaller battery box. (maybe about the size of a M-motor) Fast-Motor. (a PF buggy motor)
  9. Nice work! It does look like it went on a diet, but all the functions are there. One question though, why did you disassemble it so quickly?
  10. Yes, just double-click on the smaller photo after you embed it, and paste the URL of the larger photo as the "Link URL". I've just done it to my photos in my first post above^
  11. Thanks! They do... kind-of... Thanks, I use GIMP, and I do adjust the levels, but I actually darkened the blacks slightly in the above photos, because the colors looked a bit flat... (and before you ask, yes, I did also try adjusting the saturation) Which I think is probably the clearest photo I've ever seen...
  12. As I mentioned in another topic, I got myself 42063 recently, and thought it would be great for some outdoor photography... 1/100s, F4.0, ISO100 1/80s, F3.5, ISO100 I'm actually quite pleased how good these turned out, considering it's the first time I've taken outdoor photos. Another thing I thought I might try, after seeing @SevenStuds's awesome photo on page 8, is light-painting: 15s, F5.0, ISO100 It's nowhere near as good as @SevenStuds's photo, but I think it turned out okay... 13. Looks a bit like a spider...
  14. Hmm... Strange, I have no idea what would cause that...
  15. Does it make any noise when trying to go in the other direction? If so, it's most likely that one of the gears inside it is damaged.
  16. Awesome! I'm definitely going to consider voting for this...
  17. I agree, yellow and orange don't look good together... Nice work with the design though!
  18. That looks much better! Good work.
  19. It should look like this:
