  1. Nice work! That extra wind-up function is very clever, I can't wait to see a video of it in action...
  2. Nice MOD, it's not every day that you see a brown Technic bike... I would like to see some standalone photos of the bike though.
  3. My best guess would be that it's a early prototype of the forestman's hat - it's the closest thing I could find...
  4. @ClassicTrains When you edit your post, you need to click the delete icon on the image attachment (below the text editing section), removing the image from the post won't delete it.
  5. I will, I should be getting 42063 in a few days, so I'll definitely be taking some outdoor shots of it, and hopefully posting them in the Technic photography topic...
  6. Nice, but I don't think it belongs here... +1
  7. So... After may weeks of searching, biding, and waiting, I've finally got a new camera! Although, I should say cameras, because I stretched my budget a bit, and got two: Firefly 7s - for $89.95 Canon PowerShot SX700HS - for $102.95 Anyway, both cameras can shoot 1080p 60fps video (which it the highest resolution my computer can play), the Canon has fully manual focus (as well as many other awesome features! ), and the Firefly has a 120fps slow-mo mode - which I've already had a lot of fun with... One website I found extremely useful when I was searching for cameras, is www.dpreview.com, or more specifically their camera search tool - which lets you search for cameras by their features and specifications. It let me narrow down thousands of cameras down to about 20 that had everything I wanted, which I then searched for on eBay, until I found one that was cheap enough. Another thing I found, is a new video editor - VideoPad - which should make it much easier for me to edit my videos (because Windows movie maker couldn't handle 1080p videos), but I'll go into more detail about that when I post on the "Video Tips" topic...
  8. Looks great, and performs even better! And it also looks like it's really fun to drive!
  9. Very nice... and black! It does look like it's missing an engine, but other than that, it's just about perfect.
  10. I agree, it might not be perfect, but it's nowhere near a fail!
  11. Once again, a great design, with a strange color scheme that somehow looks good...
  12. What editor are you using? I've recently changed to VideoPad (free), and it's great! (even after the pro trial expires) Oh, yeah, I didn't see that before...
  13. That looks great! I really like the PF motorization option.
  14. By what I can see, yes... Which should make for a very interesting pullback vehicle...
  15. Very nice, but I do feel it's a bit too similar to your "Ximos" car...
  16. I just tried to go to Rebrickable, and got this: I don't know what's going on, but it's been like this for ages... Is anyone else experiencing this? Edit: It's working now...
  17. Interesting... I tend to stick as close to black as I can - I would choose black parts over LBG and DBG, and LBG/DBG over other colors - unless I'm using a major accent color, which in that case it would have priority. This also applies to Bricklink orders - which is partly why I have so much black... I might even say that I have too much black, but I do like building with it - for many of the same reasons mentioned above - so I guess it's okay...
  18. Oh no! It's happening again!!! - another huge spam attack in the Technic forum! Edit: It's been fixed...
  19. Looks great! There's lots of interesting assemblies - including the door handles, which I like. I also like the use of a small wheel as the steering wheel - it's a much more realistic size than the pre-made ones.
  20. That probably would look the best... Maybe you could build a more fancy version? - with opening doors, and a seat for a Technic guy?
  21. Nice, but why didn't you use a chain? I also like the blue one.
  22. I'm probably not the only member that's noticed, but we've had a massive lot of spam get posted in the Technic forum! I hope the moderators are quick, because more and more is being posted! (75 topics so far...) Edit: I think it's finally stopped - the spam creator hasn't done anything for more than 10 minutes...
  23. Very nice! The flex-axles make it look really sleek! Probably one of you best pullback vehicles so far. A bit off topic, but I couldn't help noticing, it looks like your camera's ISO is too high in those photos - the black looks a bit grainy...
