Very interesting technique, I'll give it a try one of these days. How unfortunate turn of event for our brave captain, but he'll be out of jail soon, afterall he's a fleet to command.

Congratulations, Canon Francois. -
I like the classic style too, nice job with the rockwork.

It's nice to see another build related to the Order, the shrine looks very good with the black/golden roof and the white columns. Congratz for the promotion, captain.

What a nice design, that chandelier, absolutely gorgeous. The Duc d'Ablette and chef d'escabdre Lagaufre are packing their things and hope to arrive on time to the Ball. -

[ESL-FB] Water-powered sawmill for Interlagos
Bodi replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Another nice build from you, Capt. Wolf. The roof really stands out. -
I'm not supposed to laugh, considering his wounds, but the expression on that Corry's face is just hilarious . A clean and neat build.

A nice build, and the multi-coloured roof looks quite good, and I like also the tiles used as timber.

Unbelievable, Team E has won, but I guess it was largely due to the "legendary" prefix. Hope the Regimentals could have better luck next year. And a big thank you to Darnok for all the behind scene works.
-
Interesting, let's see who'll be the winner.
-
Nice harbour scene, and I like the way how it's presented, with a lot of pics, showing each part of the build.

Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Bodi replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Lotus is based on ancient China/Japan, historically speaking, we could see Loti soldiers armed with rudimentary and very inefficient firearms, small or medium sized warships, guns were rare, they should mainly rely on boarding and fireships to fight Halosian ships. -

Welcome back Bart! -
Great to see another ship from you, Kotz, and a nice addition to our mighty fleet. We can see immediately she's an Oleon ship by her colour scheme, very pretty indeed, and it may look even better if you could build the deck with another colour than the hull, maybe with tan or dark tan?

Mr. postman is again on his way to deliver a letter, we don't know the content of the letter yet, but rumor says Mayor Romain is going to expand the dock capacity (ship limit) of Eltina harbour.

Looking good! I like the houses, red and blue, very classy, and nice job with the sewing machine.

Great writing Capt-Wolf, a big for the editing staff in bringing us this detailed and fascinating article.

I'm curious about the fate these players, the Canon Francois must be fuming since he's suffered 3 consecutive defeats in the last few days.

[ESL – Royal Naval Academy] Part III: Boat house
Bodi replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I don't know why but this house reminds of the hangar from Thomas & Friends. I like this build for its originality, a boat house is something in Bobs. Usually, in nautical related mocs boats were just floating around freely or at best anchored at a dock, I don't recall having seen any building of this type before. And I also like that larger boat. -

That's a fine example of "just all boring buildings". Seriously, you have here a very nice campus, capt. Wolf.- 13 replies

[ESL - Royal Naval Academy] Part II: Wading Pool
Bodi replied to Kai NRG's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Looks fantastic, Kai NRG, your pool and all these micro-ships in it. And towers with guns work better than simple roofs for a military academy. Maybe it's due to these new base plates, they are too thin and flexible, and have tendency to deform when we put a lot of bricks on them, seems these plates aren't strong enough to support the stress.- 30 replies

Next time maybe, I'll try to fish some with a better rigging.
