  1. One may remember that Oleon has sent a squad of legionnaires to attend the P.A.Cup, they've proven their sailing skills in the race and our green ninja, green legionnaire, blue legionnaire! got a well deserved rest, now it's time to train one's combat skill again. The Legionnaires usually wear the same uniform as other soldiers but they have certain liberty in the choice of weapons. This is to license a company of legionnaires (light infantry) in Eltina. Vive le Roi!
  2. i like the sloped walls, great use of wood bricks here, and I also like the tan bricks between the walls, to represent earth, adding to the realism of your build.
  3. Outstanding work! As Captain Dee said above, it's quite something to build such a large ship on prefabs, she's an absolute beauty, how many prefab sections does she have? i tried tocount them but they are too well concealed, with all the plates to widen the hull. Though the use of masonry bricks isn't entirely new, but I think they look better on a model of this size. And all these golden decorations on the stern are really eye-catching, fit well to the ship you used as reference, as ships of early 18th century were richely ornated and looked more colourful. All in all, a very nice ship and a succesful successor to your Margot the First.
  4. The hull is nicely curved, i see why you are using the brick bending technique, otherwise it will be impossible to achieve a such smooth transition, especially at the stern, where the bricks are bended inward to form the tumblehome. I also like the use of technique plates to connect the wall/hull (don't know the correct term) with the base, or bottom of the ship, maybe it's called the keel? From what I've seen here, the only shortcoming (strong word, maybe should I say imperfection) of the brick bending technique is we can't have the side walls with the hull bottom, so here we can see the limit of the lego bricks, if we want it look right externally, we have to make some compromise with the internal structure.
  5. Nice job with the custom hull, the slope bricks may work better than arches but it has its charm too you ship, and a big thumb up for the detailed interior. i particulary like the kitchen and surgeon pics.
  6. Impressive build, full of nice details. I absolutely like it.
  7. A fine ship you got here, it has nice shape, realistic rigging, the custom hull looks good as well, so much to like, and I also the deck activities, the firing effect etc.
  8. I think you mean the bow is too big compared to the rest of the ship, that's odd, the pictures are a little bit deformed, it looks better in real. And you are right, it's always a pain to build custom hulls, especially painful for my bricks stock.
  9. You are welcome. Nice brig!
  10. Thank you Captain Dee. As Wellesly said, brackets work well for ship building, I may try to build a xebec with the same hull technique.
  11. A nice looking clipper...or brig? I like the colour scheme, the detailed captain cabin adds to the playability and nice job with the all-brick masts and sails. I guess the round bricks on the forestay are supposed to represent sails, I'm not an expert but I think normally they are rolled on the bowsprit. That's only a minor detail though.
  12. That's a nice looking Loti building, you've captured the oriental style very well, I like the use of track pieces here.
  13. Welcome aboard, matey! Though you've joined the wron... Great to see a new face among us.
  14. Amazing work! Absolutely fantastic.
  15. Nice longboat, I like your hull technique, and the head figure looks good too, are you going to license it?
  16. i like the paved floor, the table looks good and there are a couple of interesting new pieces, such as the lantern and the woonden plates, nice minifigs too.
  17. Nice beach scene. At first glance, I thought the lady was sitting in a pool.
  18. The rigging and sails are nicely done, the hull shape is good, I'm not an expert but the ship is easily recognizable, since it shows clearly the characteristics of a xebec, and considering your limited parts stock, I think you've done a good job here. My only suggestion is if you could try to add more curves to the hull, especially around the waterline, for example matching the white line with the black railings. Now the upper part of your ship looks good, it has a nice curve, so if you could find a way to let that white line follow the curve of the black railings, it may improve the look of your ship further.
  19. Thank you Capt Wolf, in fact I quite enjoyed building this Dutch/Weelond style house, and I'm glad you like it.
  20. Excellent initiative, surely a big leap forward in the field of public hygiene, you should introduce this invention to Oleon too. Pinapple, hilarious.

  23. The Greenies' October feast seems to be all about dancing, drinklng and having fun. it was an occasion for the Eslandian merchantmen to get some precious rest after year long relentless efforts in thieving earning doubloons. It also offers a way to settlers from every part of New Terra to shelve disputes and gather together to enjoy the hospitality of the Weelondians. Thanks for viewing.
  24. Thanks Maxim I, glad to see you back. Now I'm not sure why I built the poop deck that way, it's been too long.
