  1. Very nice build, great use of mask pieces, they goes well with the rest of the building.
  2. Nice vignette, it's a simple and effective way to display minifigs. My complaint is there's too much red and not enough blue.
  3. @Keymonus Nice job with the rigging and the sails, can't wait to see more.
  4. The tower looks good, and the vegetation is even better.
  5. The hull is nicely curved, looking good so far, my only suggestion is to remove the swivel at the front, and replace it by some sort of catapult or arbalest, or just leave it unarmed.
  6. Nice build, the pond is especially well done, the therma spring looks very convincing, the vegetation looks good too.
  7. Funny story as usual, a barber, I didn't see it coming. Don't want to show off but I've been promoted to family's barber since the pandemy started, it's not so hard to have a haircut if you don't care about the style.
  8. At a remote location of El Oleonda, not far away from where the Fort Altrees, a lighthouse was erected by the sapeurs du génie of Oleander army. It's unsual to see such infrastructure in a squatter newly estalished settlement, since the main concern of the squatters settlers should be setting up defense, rather than working on facilities that could only be used to guide vessels, unless they forsee an increase in navigation in the nearby waters. A section of stone wall was integrated to the lighthouse to offer a minimum of defense capacity. Vive le Roi!
  9. Imgur doesn't work me, it's inaccessible from China.
  10. I can't see the pics, interesting story though.
  11. Welcome on board, Sir Kingston. Wish you a pleasant stay in Bobs.
  12. Do you have an idea about the naming? Imperial trading vessel or Terraversa Clipper?
  13. It's good to see some variation to the routine soldier-related builds, nice job!
  14. 84 guns and three decks, definitely a class 9. A great addition to our mighty fleet, nicely done! I like it very much, though I think you could add more details on the bow, for example remove a couple of these curved plates to attach some hinge plates to create that curved, ornated thingy, I forgot the correct term.
  15. Very nice, it's a neat upgraded of the Eldorado Fort. Can we build a ship out of it?
  16. What catched immediately my attention when I first saw the pics of the new BSB Bay, was that stern, TLG used a new technique here, I tried to work out a copy of it by basing on the photos, that's what I've been able to come up with: Then I got the set last week, and I was happy to see I guessed right, more or less.
  17. Very nice indeed, I like the detachable roof, the interior is very detailed, and my favourite part is the air blower.
  18. The Duke of Boussac was going to leave the Palais de Breschaun, when he heard a call from behind. "Monsieur le Duc, wait a minute, if you please." It was Duke's treasurer, the man continued:"My sire, did you see the latest report?" Boussac fixed the man in his eyes and replied:"You mean the financial report, not yet." The treasurer wasn't prepared to that answer apparently, he became silent for a moment, then he said:"If you've read it, you'll know that we are now overstreched, we have to cut our expenses, and if I dare to suggest, we could recall some our troops deployed abroad." As expected, Duke's reply was categorical:"Monsieur le treasurer, I have to remind you to focus on your field of expertise. And speaking of troop deployment, I was going to send reinforcement to Charlatan Bay, do we have enough funds to cover the expedition?" The poor man turned pale, took a deep breath, and said:"My sire, I think I have a solution that can satisfy both of us, you see, our pirate hunting fleet has captured a pirate ship, do you want me to ask some of our men to sail that ship to Charlatan Bay?" Boussac replied promptly, "Very well, you may leave now", seemingly content to be able to get ride of his treasurer. The Prio Sea Baleine, sailing to Charlatan Bay to provide artillery support, while the fort was under repair. Vive le Roi!
  19. Yeah, I ran out of bricks when building this one, the base deserved more efforts. And bribing used to work surprisingly well in Lotus, some people may even get annoyed if you don't bribe them.
  20. They supposed to represent cups, Lotii used to serve tea to their guests. You are right the interior is quite spartan, though the landscaping was intentional, I guess in certain regions of the Lotus Empire, any decorations and vegetation in the immediate vicinity of a residence would be superfluous and may be regarded as a proof of laziness and bad taste.
  21. Fun build, I like your rhino, looks hilarious.
  22. Interesting story, the Lotii should have stayed at their home, it's risky to go out now. Nice scene, I like the close shots on the hideout and different parts of the ruin.
  23. Happy birthday, Fraunces. I envision we'll see soon a fleet of BSB roaming the brisk seas. Mine arrived today, and it's made in China, by the TLG's Zhejiang factory.
  24. My first reaction was " too good to be true" when I first saw the actual pics of this set. What interested me the most in the original design of the pirate bay was the potentiality of building a ship with the parts from it. Now Lego has got it covered, what more could I ask for, other than placing my order. In fact I've already started to rebuild this newer BSB with my own parts.
  25. , I like the use of brown plates and round tiles to enhance the wooden effect of the build. Is it Master Wu in the tub?
