  1. This is why I don’t really make “scale replicas” of existing cars. I haven’t posted one in a while because I don’t feel like it’s good enough to present. I have just finished one that I think is good enough and might post soon (and possibly make instructions). I have noticed the lack of MOCs as well, I hope that others make their own designs and put their special spin on them.
  2. @Sariel I think the author means 2903 which came in many of the old RCX sets.
  3. I’m wondering if it could be blue. Doubtful but with 42123 having lots of blue panels + soft axle maybe it’s a possibility. I’ve seen a few blue Ferraris around my city.
  4. @Leewan I’m wondering if it’s made of a different plastic?
  5. Go for it then! I think you’re ready for a challenge since you’ve built some smaller sets before.
  6. 42096 if you really like cars. As others have mentioned it’s not quite perfect. I’d recommend 42112 as a general Technic experience and it has some interesting/new parts and useful colors. I never liked 42081 so someone else can comment on that.
  7. I would LOVE to see this! I would also suggest some 90’s Japanese car which I think would look neat.
  8. I’m thinking of Bruno here, and would you really share instructions for free without his permissions for a model that is practically paid for? When you buy the car from CaDa, you are buying the instructions as well as the parts. I think it is best to respect both Bruno and CaDa and whether CaDa themselves wishes to share or sell the instructions separately.
  9. Awesome! How is the tan double bevel gear in the second photo braced?
  10. I'm having trouble with my latest model. The chassis is very solid and works well, but the bodywork I am trying does not flow or look nice. I'm trying to give it a more premium feel and make nice instructions, but I'm really struggling with the bodywork. Could anyone help or make suggestions?
  11. Looking closer, we’ve got TWO new extremely useful panels! A 3x7x1 panel to go along with the curved one of the same size, and a brand new wacky looking one with an axle connection seen at the front of the Jeep and front and sides of the blue car. Dimensions appear to be 2x3x1. This will be very very useful in filling small spaces!
  12. There’s a lot to unpack here. Looks like we get TWO new tires, one like the CLAAS but smaller and a generic RC buggy tire. Some new panels in blue and maybe yellow as well. Finally, time to order!
  13. Awesome! I am also wondering how it works with a LEGO servo motor.
  14. @JurssBrickLink shows that some versions of the set contained 4 of those in black instead of 2 black and 2 lime. I guess you just got a later edition of the set.
  15. I’m thinking LEGO is using a cheaper method to produce the molds. Their glossy parts seem subpar and have more tolerance issues than the older parts.
  16. Huh, you’re right. Strange, but I guess this matches the pattern of “making some pieces more glossy”. My connector pieces have been glossy starting this year along with differentials. I have no idea why they are doing it, I think they are better with a matte finish.
  17. Since never. Are you sure that part is genuine? I don’t see any LEGO markings on it.
  18. That’s totally me I love the technical aspect of this car! The bodywork could be improved, but I am not one to judge since I couldn’t do better.
  19. When you’re getting your first buggy motor, be warned that they don’t like the PF system. Their internal protection will kick in around 20 seconds after you start using it. Best solution I’ve found is use an SBrick or the RC hub built for it.
  20. @I_IgorThank you! Weird, I’ve seen the sets that contain it but never actually noticed the tire.
  21. What tires are on the Ford County? I don’t think I have seen those before.
  22. Here are some actual LEGOLAND parts which I think are from the California park: These are all so amazing and useful!
  23. I believe since LEGO bought out BrickLink, they are starting to crack down on custom parts and they may not be allowed to be put up for sale.
  24. Dang, that’s a great price! I bought a 95% complete 8461 For $50, but the stickers cracked and the parts were very dirty.
