A 20% increase given the license is probably about right* when compared with the £110 London Bus. (* right as in typical or expected)

Apparently being launched at London's Leicester Square store on July 18th at 10:07am. Creator Expert 10262 Aston Martin DB5 Price £129.99

Fantastic. Not sure about the non-English names for the duo though!

It’s happening! God I really hope they do it justice or else there’ll be scenes, anarchy, etc.

Sometimes the architectural value needs to outweigh any religious concerns. Notrè-Dâme and St Paul's for example. But, now we have a render of what it will eventually look like, I really hope the theme will release a large-scale Sagrada Familia. Preferably long before the real thing is completed in 2026.

Thanks, that acronym passed me by...but don't recall getting the surf Beetle polybag with the main model? Bought at Lego Store too, must have been after the promo Haha never would have guessed Patrick (looked fleshie)...only have the spacesuit minifig (with the others) but no nipples on show thankfully

GWP??? Haha....what's that from?! Star Wars?

Because I was very curious about the source material and how I'd never heard of it. Which sort of explains my lack of enthusiasm (please excuse that) on the set itself. I didn't mean any offence, obviously this is causing a lot of excitement in others. Also because I love Ideas sets in general and it's interesting to see the scale and price raises in approved sets. TRON had a lot of complaints about the price (even for a Disney licence), and this is the next release in Ideas.

Do you mean just plain white minfigs to give scale?

By far the best thing (well, apart from the lispy vertically-challenged sidekick) from TMWTGG was that mushroom rock and lagoon location, which the Thais have since renamed James Bond Island. The more I think about it, I think I'd prefer no minifgs and just the gadgets on the DB5. Making custom Bonds really isn't difficult if you source fleshy heads/hands.

I wonder if I missed something growing up as a kid in the 1980s. Pretty much every other toy/cartoon/cultural reference I get, but even now, I've never even heard of Voltron. Was it a US thing? Either way, the set does absolutely nothing for me. Jeez I just saw the price! Ouch. You have to be a super massive fan I guess. Makes the OFS its predecessor (most expensive Ideas set) seem like a bargain. @CDM just noticed our avatars - the age old argument eh

And a third nipple. Just saying like

Creator Expert Cars - Rumors, Discussion, and Speculation

Combined with official 007 #licencetobuild stuff from their Twitter feed, I'd say that's confirmed. Wild goose chase? Not a chance. -

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Talking of Brickheadz, it's about time they put up Lloyd's green eyes. -
I second that. Even the last one still in existence would be a nice - if not exactly challenging - build. You could then have the "modern" day wonders, of which Lego have already done two (Taj Mahal rerelease and the new GWOC).

Creator Expert Cars - Rumors, Discussion, and Speculation

Just a thought mods, but as the 007 licence and Creator Expert Aston is confirmed, maybe merge this thread with the Bond one in Licensed? -
Minimum 1400+ based on other Expert Creator vehicle models.

Adult themes? What, you mean like in Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Ninjago etc. Yet funnily enough there you are on the other thread enthusiastically advocating for a Dr Who CMF line that's never going to happen for many reasons (the best reason you said yourself, "cutting off the lesser ones"). You and Dalekbuster should start a counselling group Anyway, it's not like we're getting sets of a Connery minifig on a table with a red light brick "laser" slicing him in two or a dead-eyed gold painted girl minifig (those are Goldfinger scenes by the way, you really should watch it you know, it's a classic). No, all Lego have teased and all we're just talking about is a possibly gadget-accessorised vehicle that happens to be one of the most beautiful and iconic cars ever produced (google it as assume you're not familiar with that either). What's wrong with that?

Am I imagining it or is there a precedent in the BTTF DeLorean, where you can adapt the car to reflect either the first film or the sequel? Been years since I built the set and instructions are in storage. -
Yeah they'll have to give that dilemma at least a nanosecond's thought...

It's rated PG with a few episodes rated higher due to content. Exactly the same as the Simpsons.

Exactly what I did.

Is it just me or Groot's colour way off? Should match the brown used on the MF/BF surely. Surprised Thor hasn't been made yet. Serious oversight.
