Lego store got two boxes in and it turned out to be one of the most entertaining minifigure searches ever. There were a couple of moms there with their kids and it turned into a team effort of passing off the figs everyone was looking for. Kid: "nah this is just another old guy with corn flakes" Mom: "seems nobody wants the rock and roll guys" Didn't get them all as priority should go to the kids and these will be around for a while but almost half the set:

I went by on a whim during lunch and inquired about these but the guy didn't know or check their system. I didn't even know they're already out. Still two boxes of series 16 though

Really captures the feel of a toy store, especially the anarchy that is Toys R Us. You've made fantastic use of pieces that would normally be out of place place in Lego Town but fit in perfectly here. The grey haired employee looks like he could use a very long vacation in a place called retirement. So much detail everywhere. Great build Carebear, you are on a roll!!

Disagree. There are plenty of police sets and if one doesn't like what Lego has to offer as official sets then there is always MOC. Far too many AFOL need to stop wishing Lego would make something that they want, just for them, and instead create it themselves. At the end of the day its always going to be a children's building toy.

I shall thank you. Thank you Itraria No Shintaku. It has been a very fun game. The criticism doesn't appear to be directed at you rather that the fun we've had may have been undermined for one epic round. It's not a huge deal; we know that they were two extremely popular figures that were deadlocked for days. It has been a blast for these past several months. It has undoubtedly required a great deal of your time and effort to bring this to us, more than we shall ever know. So thank you for all the fun! Now lets see who the ultimate winner will be.

I sense from the comments that the majority don't mind their picks losing in an honest and fair manner. Its a game that most regular participants have been partaking in for several months now so we've probably all had many picks that lost along the way. Its the fact that it appears one or two couldn't participate in the same manner.

Yeah great and creative solution for the skyline taillights. Nice to see some Japanese car love, many of these frequently outperform their European counterparts for a fraction of the cost.

I actually saw a few people buy it, mostly moms absent their kids likely getting it as a surprise gift. It was amusing watching them holding the part list and struggling to pick out the right pieces. -

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Detectives offices aren't really relatable to the average person its more of a fun albeit antiquated concept. While nearly everyone has seen and or been in (i.e. relatable) a town/city hall, hospital, school, police station, public library... i.e. government/municipal/public service buildings. Respect your opinion but we should really be open to any new official modular, not just what one wants.
