This looks great. The towers are fantastic and the crenelations are really neat the way they are designed. I like the inclusion of the yellow it really works here especially with the dark blue roof. Your builds are great and this is another example. Looks good next to your other build and the blacksmith shop.

Nice build. Lighting is excellent and really brings this build to life.

Very nice build. The castle and tower have some nice texturing and design to them. The village looks good and I like the all the crops especially the grape vine nice detail. All the buildings have some nice colors. You have quite a few cypress trees I'm jealous. I also like all the action with the minifigs throughout the scene. Good job.

Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
zoth33 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Is anything in comics believable? A man bitten by a spider becomes spider man. Captain America is super human from a serum he was given. Wolverine has a metal skeleton. -
@Aanchir Now the real question for me is if Lego is all in with this or is this just a one and done. Will they include gay couples in sets and shows now too. It will be interesting to see what they do from now on.

The tower has some nice texturing. The swamp looks good with all the vegetation and the dead tree is a nice detail. Neat drawbridge function. The colors look good together and great looking custom figs. Really nice build.

Great scene. Lots of details. All the buildings look great, the different buildings and colors really pop. The different roof styles add some nice variation too. The landscaping is excellent especially the pine trees. The ground work looks great with the pathway throughout the build. There is so much variety here. The animals and the figs throughout the build really bring the build to life. Great job.

Another stunning build from you. I like the different crop fields, especially the cabbage. The landscaping as usual is fantastic, nice variety of trees and plants. The waves look wonderful with the different shades of blue, clear and white. The rock work is excellent with the sharp angles and some round ones thrown in. Now that lego has made a sheep you won't have to brick build them anymore lol. The castle itself is a great structure with some subtle different shades of grey in there, looks very good like that. The crenelations look great with the dark grey cheese slopes and small pyramid pieces. I also like the fact that the castle isn't easily accessible with the outcrop of rock and the bridge. I also really like the tower off set from the main castle with the small bridge to it. The interior looks great and spacious too. Nice forestman hideout. Great work.

Lovely build. I like the roof technique and the chimneys look great. The gold accents are a nice touch and really stand out. The balcony is nicely done. The stonework is good with some nice texturing. Can't wait to see the full layout as this is impressive itself.

Help with choosing hair pieces?
zoth33 replied to Natant16's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
For Sha lin I would use Kai from Ninjago there are some with the bandana that would work For Lo there is a blue hairpiece with cat ears I believe from the CMF don't remember off hand. For Ash there is a dark red spiky hair that would work Not sure about the rest. -
I thought the book about Arthas was pretty good. I'm reading the Stormlight chronicles really liking it so far only on the first book now.

The boat looks great. The gold accents are a nice touch. Figs look great. I like the combo of the Egyptian head dress and the Chima torso's. The monkey and the chameleon are a fun detail. The water looks good too.

Love the irregular base with the trunk pieces sticking out. The trees and vegetation look great and have that jungle feel with all the vines and dense canopy. The green water is a nice touch and you don't even know its there unless you look at the boat.

Great looking tower and wall with the ingots. The crenelations are interesting. The path and the plants is a nice contrast. Great work.

Great effect with the lighting, looks great. The rock work is wonderful. Nice waterfall and stream. The trees and plants with the varying leaves and sizes is a nice touch and gives some depth to the build. -
@Jonas That's a great start to a nice looking village.

I like the wooden framing with the dark grey bricks. The layered plates for the sloping ground effect is great. The orange bricks under the trees to show fallen leaves is a great detail. The roof looks great with the two colors. The figs also look nice. What torso is the woman with the spear from? Great build.
-
Really nice build. I like the wooden framing on the houses. The mixture of the round tiles and plates looks great. The slanted orange roof looks nice with the curved plates. Just a few questions. Is the knight chasing the pig? Also are the frogs with the green flower pieces attached supposed to be vegetables if so that is a great idea?

[MOC, freebuild] The City wall of Oxenfurt
zoth33 replied to Servertijd's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great build. I really like the texturing of the wall. The way you did the roadway looks fantastic with the uneven plates and tiles. The vegetation on the outside looks great too. Nice brick built flag. Figs look good, especially the ones with the older torso's. -

There are some ideas out there to get around that. I will be experimenting once I get some. -

If you like baseplates use them if you don't then don't. It's a pretty simple concept and trying to tell someone why you think they shouldn't use baseplates really doesn't make sense. I like baseplates for some builds and regular plates for other to each there own and leave it at that if the man wants to use baseplates let him. I mean people on here are literally telling someone what to do or think which is messed up. Those lions are going to be very useful. The will make good mounts. I wonder how they will look next to the wargs from LOTR/Hobbit. -

All these new animal molds are going to make for some great MOC's. I really like the white and tan male lion and the new monkey molds. The elephants are great too. Can't wait to get some sheep for a nice castle farm scene.
