  1. Excellent job. This would be amazing in real Lego form. Very nice details throughout the build. I like the way you did the water. All the little buildings and shops look great. I like the cobblestone walkways. There is a lot of windows in this city that must have taken awhile with all the different styles. Happy New Year to you as well.
  2. This does have a very northern feel to it. The build is nicely detailed and I like the snow effect throughout the build. The figs look great too.
  3. Horizon Zero Dawn
  4. Any bricks used for castle colors like grey, black, sand green, dark blue, and whatever others you feel like using. Also a lot of green and brown pieces for landscaping and building civilian buildings. You can find a lot of that on bricklink. Fig wise same site bricklink to find whatever figs you are interested in like the new black falcon knights. You can use bricks and pieces on the lego sight to find parts and fig torsos and legs, heads etc. The obvious choices right now of sets to buy would be the blacksmith shop and the 3in1 castle. Ninjago has some nice figs to use also the monkie kid has some good figs for fantasy settings. There are some good figs coming in the next cmf coming in January. I also use some figs from marvel and DC that have useful torsos and legs.
  5. Very nice dragon. I like the colors used here. I actually think it would look great with wings too.. It is designed very well.
  6. Nice idea on the wood worker. The plain animals work great for statues and decorations.
  7. Some interesting combo's here. I like the use of the black falcon pants on the crown knight torso. That torso for Geralt seems to be the most popular choice i've seen. Nice work.
  8. Nice castle. I like the tower. Some nice texturing. The vegetation on the outside has a nice variety. I really like the fig on the backside of the castle that blends in, very sneaky. Job well done.
  9. Just catching up on these now. Some great figs and little builds here. I like the goblin and snowman, the fountain is nice, the fairy fire mushroom is one of my favorites so far with the contrast in colors of the sprite and the mushrooms. There are some very creative designs too like the albemic and the pyromancy. Great job so far.
  10. Very nice texturing with all the plates and tiles. I like the roof on the tower with the spear tip sticking out at the top. I like the color choices on the base. Nice build.
  11. Some great color choices here. I really like the water and waterfall. The landscaping is nicely layered and I like the use of the dark brown slopes. The fortress looks like it would be hard to take over. Nice build overall.
  12. This is very nice. I like the irregular shape of the fortress. The statue in the front is great. Some nice texturing and I like the way you used the big corner panels. The towers and the buildings look good.
  13. Yes could be quite useful for various purposes. I can't wait to get these figs.
  14. You've done a great job again with all of these. The lich King is excellent. Nice use of the chitauri head. The use of the fig from the lego games set in the goblin idol is a nice touch too. Alda looks great too, nice use of that hair piece.
  15. Some really great figs here. I also like to use shuri's torso for elves, it's works very well. Wilwe the elder on the far right is that one of the eternals torso's?
  16. Nice build here. I like the wood work and stone work together. I like the black and red roof too.
  17. Very nice architecture and I like the choice of colors here. The use of the 1x1 rounds here looks good.
  18. Yes and the new Macaque and the new evil monkey warriors look great. Some of these torsos and legs will be quite useful too. And I like the fact that they are using a lot of gold pieces again in the wave.
  19. Wave looks great. I really like the red and black monkey guys. The mech is nice. Some great looking figs in this wave and some great new pieces too.
  20. Yes it is and I really like the fig itself looks great. The snow knight looks good too. Really like the bard and the little acorn guy. Definitely getting a bunch of knights and moon warriors.
  21. Nice scene here. I like the castle and the colors used. The open layout gives way to easy viewing. There is some nice texturing throughout the build. I really like the stables, looks great. Good work.
  22. Yeah I agree. I like the new black falcon torsos and legs, I've got about 25 and i got my son a bunch. I hope we get some new heraldry too in the cmf also. I really liked the frightening knight armor and torso and legs, shield was also great. Obviously a new castle or fantasy theme would be ideal for new heraldry and to army build.
  23. That scale armor is nice and the heraldry on the dragon knights from kingdoms was the best in my opinion. Also I love the antagonists from ninjago, nexo knights, and chima. I have small factions of the lava baddies and the gargoyles from nexo knights. I have several different small factions from Ninjago some of my favorites are the fire snakes, vermillion, ice samurai and of course the oni. From chima I have some of the bats which I like the most, the wolves, and the ravens. But I also like to use the lions from chima in my lion lords army especially the fire chi suits in red with red hoods and capes for my lion knights as assassins or ranger, they look really good. I have found several uses from those 3 themes and even different figs from marvel/DC like the sakaraan, certain batman cowls, groot, atlantean warriors, etc.
  24. There are a lot of hobbies. Some more expensive than lego like building or maintaining a classic car which is way more expensive and there are a number of people who love that here in the US. It's not about the money it's about the experience and the gratification of either creating something new or building a lego model that is satisfying to people. I find building and fig creating as a mental exercise and also helps me get away from the stresses of life. Yes I could do other less expensive things but they are not as gratifying to me personally. I actually love getting new parts and trying new techniques. I also love making new figs. There is so much you can do with lego and I see it as an art form. It's fun for me and I also really enjoy seeing what other people can build. I mean playing a video game could be very stressful depending on what game you are playing. Just the other day I built the 3in1 lego creator castle one afternoon and it was so relaxing and I found myself wanting to buy more of that set to build a bigger castle. I also have fun building with my youngest son he really likes Ninjago. We both like building dragons and that also makes things fun and great to do with your kids. I guess there are a lot of other nonproductive or nonpractical things I could be doing with my money but lego is just a great experience for me anyway.
