  1. This is a really nice build. I love the interior. The candle holder is a nice touch. I like the texturing of the exterior walls and the black and white looks nice. The landscaping is very cool. This build has that old 1980's vibe to it great job.
  2. I vote for the wolf. I really like the head mold.
  3. Great build love the texturing of the walls and the roof looks excellent. The tree and the base are awesome. The fire creature is fantastic. Great job.
  4. Legoman123 Lego will never do ww1 and ww2. They have already stated that several times but there are customs lego shops like brick warriors and others that sell ww1 and ww2 style figs and accessories. Lego also does study groups with kids to find out what they like so its not like they just wing it with themes and guess what people want. Don't worry castle will be back soon. Nexoknights is only set to run three years so after next year we will see some new castle sets or maybe even sooner. Lego ran a regular castle theme while the hobbit sets were out. Just have faith.
  5. We just had several waves of the hobbit and lord of the rings and they threw us some regular castle sets in with those waves. And before that se had a steady flow of castle sets with kingdoms and fantasy era. Pirates is a little more sparatic and Western hasn't been done for a while. Castle was going strong for a while so I don't get your statement unless your not counting lord of the rings and the hobbit.
  6. Lego doesn't do anything with real wars or modern warfare.
  7. Great build. I love the base and the tree itself is very creative. The story is great along with the figures. Overall fantastic job.
  8. Nice little scene. I like the slope of the land and the trees. The minifig is nice, what torso did you use?
  9. You just proved my point with your last statement. All I build is castle or fantasy moc's and I have been getting castle sets since I was a kid that is the theme I love the most. I understand it sucks not having a true castle theme out now but there has to be some sets you like that have good figs or parts for mocing. I think we got spoiled with all the lord of the rings, hobbit, and castle sets recently. I always find useful parts and figs in the ninjago line and star wars has some good sets too. I also find a lot of the Marvel and DC sets useful. Usually people who are into castle/fantasy are into science fiction also. All I'm trying to say is there has to some sets that you think are good. I'm not beating anyone up about it. I just find the villains from nexo knights very useful and a lot of the pieces I can use to build other projects with.
  10. This is crazy. Just like the Walking Dead thing that Quicksilver mentioned above people are getting out of hand with all this complaining and whining about things that aren't worth it. There are so many other problems this world needs to fix first. I think people are just to sensitive now a days and cant take things or opinions for what they are. Just like Vaderfan2187's comment above about right-wing people I mean its legodalekbusters opinion not everyone has to agree with everyone. Why cant we just all get along.
  11. I don't think this theme is bad. I love fantasy/castle, Vikings, pirates, and star wars. It's not my favorite theme either but I do think it is creative and fun. The minifigs are excellent and I find the sets fun. The colors are fine and the quality is good. My youngest son loves the theme and the show. I think lego created something new and fun that the kids like. My two sons also love Ninjago and still like the show and the sets. It will be interesting to see where this theme goes but they have definitely done a great job with the villains. I know a lot of people are upset that there is no real castle theme but like others have said pirates, space, or western themes get done with long breaks between releases. I don't like some sets out there either but I buy the ones I do like or ones I can use parts for MOC's. I think people just need to find the whatever they like and go with that and not complain about sets you don't like. Find some sets that you do like that you can use and be happy. The negativity on these forums gets out of control some times. Why cant we all be happy this is supposed to be a site to bring people together that all have the love of lego in common not why we hate things. Instead we should be enjoying the hobby we all love.
  12. Nice work. I love the landscaping and the ruins. The minifig posing is great. I like the effect of the grass on top of the ruins.
  13. This is very nice. I love the pillars and the roof. The statues are nice too. How did u get the Pegasus wings mounted? I really like the overall design.
  14. This is fantastic. I love the castle and the way you used the masonry bricks. I like the use of the green hair for trees. The windmills are great and the houses are nicely done. The buildings inside the castle are very creative. Great parts usage all over.
  15. This series is your best yet I think the whole series is exceptional. The spooky knight is insanely good I love the tattered clothes and the broken helm. The winter sprite is fantastic I love the printing and the new hairpiece. The android is great so detailed. The celtic warrior is awesome love the facepaint. The evil genie is nicely done. Love it all man.
  16. Those are all fair points. I just remember the latest pirate line being highly scrutinized for being to bland and a repeat of old sets. I just think ghost ship is neat looking and would be fun to build. I think it is getting hard to please everyone because everybody has different tastes. That's why I think lego has done a great job recently with all the new themes they have created and all the new licenses they have acquired. Over the last ten years or so they have made so many new pieces and even made UCS sets that cater to adults. Just look at the CMF's they try to make a fig for everyones tastes but people only pick up the ones they like. Its just very hard to please everyone in my opinion.
  17. I don't understand all the hate for the SM. I think lego was trying something new rather than just the same old pirate ships they have cranked out recently. Even lord of the rings got a pirate ship. I'm glad they went the ghost ship route I think it looks pretty cool and like the ship from the trailer. It seems recently everything lego does people complain. The beauty of lego is you can make anything out of lego and use your imagination. Just my opinion.
  18. Nice build. I like all of the sorcerer's and how they are all wielding their magic. The tree is magnificent. overall nice job.
  19. Nice little build. I like the plants and the rider trudging through the plant life. Also the big plant with the teeth is nicely done.
  20. Great little scene. I like the vultures and the fig posing. The story is great and the last pic is awesome. Great job
  21. I love this. Great combination of colors. The dark red plays nicely off of the different tans. The use of the whip as a plant is brilliant. The tar pits are great too and give the build nice texture.
  22. Great monster. I like the design of the creature and your character is nicely done. I also like the way you have the creature coming out of the ground.
  23. That is a impressive little creature. Looks like he is stout yet agile. nicely done.
  24. Lord Krackenskull is an amazing minifig. The whole wave looks really good. The printing on the figs is excellent. Knightington castle has some nice features. I think lego has done a really nice job with all of these.
