Oh no, looks like I’m going to have to wait longer to see that Giganotosaurus The only other animals I’m interested in seeing now are Dimetrodon and Therazinosaurus and I think that some of the other sets won’t come with a new Dino, just recolours

I’m loving these reveals, my only disappointment has been this makes two times I think I’ll see the Lego Giga and each time I have to wait - I really want to see what colours and new pieces it has! My expectations have only been raised by seeing the other dinos so I hope I’m not setting myself up for disappointment… Also I love the accurate Blue figure, ever since I saw her looking so grey in Camp Cretaceous I’ve been really hoping Lego delivers

I definitely think we’re not going the Mosasaur unless it’s in an action scene with the main cast - that seems to be the defining factor on which dinosaurs we’re getting Quetzlecoatlus is an amazing surprise - one of my favourite prehistoric animals so that will be hard to not get Its interesting the Atrociraptors are smaller and one-piece when more are almost definitely coming in a chase set - maybe the white alpha one will be the bigger raptor piece to set it apart from the others?

Yeah it seems to be the exact same mold as that one-piece Dilophosaurus. I can't find any comparison pictures of that previous Dilo next to the raptors but I assume that Dilo and Pyroraptor will be smaller than the multi-piece raptors, like how that old Ceolyphisis piece was smaller?

I absolutely love the Pyroraptor and Dilophosaurus set, that vehicle is like the truck from the Toro set which is great. Plus I really like that more and more sets are coming with two dinos! The colours on the Pyroraptor make me very hopeful for the Giganotosaurus, that’s the design I’m most eagerly looking forward to seeing

Yeah the Crystal King is one of the larger sets of the next wave and has only been talked about in rumour lists so it's completely understandable you haven't heard of him . It seems like the storyline with these new crystal enemies in it is also going to feature the returning villains, which should hopefully make for some great minifigure line-ups!

I've just had a thought: what if the upper body of the Crystal King is the same as the other giant brick-built minifigures that we've seen in recent years. I still have no idea how the bottom body and legs could be built tho...

#legoleaks Instagram now has a (definitely not hd) pic of 3 figures from boba’s palace - Bob fortuna, rystall sant and the quarren set up with a load of other figures I think they all have the right pieces but rystall has bright pink hair which looks like a new recolour but is it accurate?

Very excited to get the kittens and squirrels next time I do an order - does anyone know if the elephant body is going to be back in stock?

I really hope each crystal samurai is a different colour- it might mirror the main ninjas too much but a load of different semi-transparent armour pieces could look really cool

Advent calendars mostly have recycled minifigures and only a few new figures, right? I imagine we’ll get repeats of Mantis, Rocket, Star Lord and Groot but 1-2 of them will have Christmas torsos. Then the only other new prints could be for Drax and Nebula - I can’t imagine we’ll get Gamora in this.

Does anyone else think there’s a chance of a minifigure accessory set for Secrets of Dumbledore? They did one of those for the minions film last year that even included an exclusive figure of the main villain so I could see the same sort of thing happening for Fantastic Beasts. My hopeful but realistic expectation: - Brick-built Niffler - A small to medium playset with 3+ figures -A minifigure accessory pack with 4 figures (including at least one exclusive figure with unique printed parts)

I know it's not technically 2022 discussion but does anyone know when the Shang Chi sets are going to be discontinued in the uk? I was hoping to get the car chase set for a discount but almost no one else is selling it outside of Lego.com

One thing I've noticed is the hosipital wing is 24 studs long (3 8x8 segments) so I think it could fit on top of the Great Hall from last year. I would be very interested to see what that looks like... Also for those who don't like to use the new Great Hall as itself I've had some success with using the new Great Hall and putting it sideways behind the viaduct entrance from 2020's Astronomy Tower to create the west wing in front of the Bell Towers (it's taking me a lot of modding tho! )

I actually used a 32x32 baseplate for a diagon alley extension moc - I had a normal shop in line with the others on the first 16 studs and then I have Borgin and Burke’s behind it Also apart from Gringotts I’m pretty happy with the Harry Potter stuff I’ve got now so im sort of passively curious to see what the designers come out with:

Hopefully Warner Bros has some power to say they want their new film to be represented and marketed in merchandising lines. Maybe this will be the year for Harry Potter CMF season 3? (With half Fantastic Beasts figures! ) One concern I do have is that this film has been delayed twice and there has been no news of any sets anywhere near the horizon. we knew details for both Minions and Jurassic World waves long before both films will come out - would we have heard about postponed wizarding world sets in similar circumstances? I know there are still being sets revealed for 1HY of 2022 - when can we definitively say that all the sets for the first half of the year will be accounted for?

With the trailer coming tomorrow, Is anyone else hoping there’ll be at least a couple of Fantastic Beasts sets coming this year?

The pyroraptor seems like a safe bet for both a feathered Dino and a Lego toy: I think if there are long/pronounced feathers on it, such as on the head, arms and tail, then they will be molded onto the Lego body parts If it has a coat of downy feathers as well then I think these will be shown like scale patterns are, with printing and different colours to imply a body of feathers

So a JW fan page has speculated the therizanosaurus is in that picture: if it gets a whole scene in the film (like the Baryonyx or Stygomoloch did in FK) do you guys think there’s a higher chance it’s included in a set? Im imagining the indo/Bary body and legs with a new head and hand molds Also here’s my list of my anticipated dino designs in the film that could be figures: - Giganotosaurus - Pyroraptor - Therizinosaurus -the white antagonist raptor

Yeah I did wonder considering the Indominus body was used for the carnatosaur of all things! I’m still annoyed they did not use the indoraptor / Baryonix piece

So I’m feeling quite confident that the Giga will have a new head mold, but does anyone else think that the spikes on its back should mean there will be a new body mold too?

Wow this is so intriguing and exciting to me! JediJACPenguin says these are 2 out of a potential 11 sets - anyone got any ideas what other licenses could fit under this ‘gaming’ umbrella? It’s very promising that the set was seen in a catalogue, although there have been sets from other themes still cancelled after that point so I’ll try to keep my expectations in check

I'm planning on getting that Deviant Bull of Summer set, for Makkari, Gilgamesh and Thena. I might also get Druig and Kingo's figures at some point next year - do you guys think film figures could be included in the Lego magazine? I still want to pick up the Shang Chi polybag too
