  1. Yeah I’m actually hoping the Harry Potter set is not Diagon Alley related just because I don’t want it to be that expensive to get Gringotts . Sadly it makes sense that a set with the most popular Diagon Alley shop (and an accompanying dragon ) would be one that Lego could think they could charge more than the already expensive set. I think including two shops with it to flank it on either side and feature the dragon breathing fire on the top like the theme parks could make it a really eye-catching and pivotal set.
  2. I definitely think the Giga set is like jabba’s palace in the recent Star Wars wave - no spoilers but it was meant to be a secret so that it could be revealed at a significant time. My best bet is that Lego didn’t want to reveal all their sets, and new dinos, all at once - we already saw a staggered reveal between 3 sets and then the others. I think we will see it before the end of the month
  3. I definitely think we’ll get a marvel cmf series next year for 2023 - I spoke to a Lego store employee recently and they said how insanely popular that first series was. hopefully when there’s another cmf they will play catch-up and give us characters like Moon Knight and She-Hulk. Personally I’m not very hopeful of sets being made based on the live action series
  4. There's another female Inquisitor in the trailer, an alien who can be seen in the meeting scene. She appears to have the same tentacles as Stass Allie's species, so that makes 4 confirmed Inquisitors in this series, the same amount as Rebels Seasons 1 AND 2 combined . If the two new Inquisitors are made that will help me feel better about there never being a Seventh Sister figure... Tho my thinking is that the Fifth Brother and alien Sister Inquisitor will have less lines and just be there as background / extra action Inquisitors, so I expect that the human female Inquisitor and Grand Inquisitor will be the most wanted by fans
  5. I do hope that new mold won’t just be used for Beta, but it might be like the flying Hedwig mold where it will be used with other colours and prints in a year or 2
  6. That looks to be a flame-orange baby raptor, very nice! I can’t wait to see it in more detail to see the printing. I’m glad I’m not the only one who collects baby raptors . There’s loads of Lego Jurassic world magazines in the uk do it’s been quite easy for me to get all but the grey version of baby blue - I imagine as well as being a gwp, this will also be attached to a magazine at some point. Also imagine if that website had been our first glimpse of the Giga set? We’ll have to all keep our eyes leaked to see if anyone breaks that embargo- my guess is it’ll be either an early reviewer or the set will just turn up in a shop somewhere
  7. Personally I view the Indoraptor / Baryonyx body piece as the mid-sized therapod piece - and I think it would work for Allosaurus and Carnotaurus too. I actually really like my 2019 Baryonyx, especially it’s size, so I think the current scale is perfect for that species. And although they’re not my favourite, I’m a fan of Carnotaurus’ role as a light, fast-moving predator so I would like to see Lego change its size in a future set, like how they changed Dilophosaurus, Also for what it’s worth, I’d like to make the prediction now that, despite the spikes on its back, the Baryonyx body piece will be used for Therazinosaurus too, making it another mid-sized Lego therapod
  8. I agree - I think a Stegosaurus could actually use a lot of the same pieces as the Ankylosaurus with the bottom torso and leg pieces. All it would need is a specialised top-body+head mould like the Anky had, and a new spiked tail piece that, as you said, can swing. It is sad we haven’t got as many Jurassic dinos in the Jurassic World theme (tho I’m aware of the imbalance in the films! ). Personally I would love an Allosaurus and a Stegosaurus is probably one of the only herbivores I’d been interested in getting in Lego.
  9. That’s a great view of the Giga - I didn’t like how that shot from the flashback made it look like a hunchback so this angle highlighting that central spike is great for imagining what the Lego figure will look like - I just hope it gets a unique body mold! Also I think those stickers are taken from a scene that happens at night judging by how grey both dinos look like. I’m sure the Lego figure will end up being a mix of green and brown, like the artwork Lucca has made on Twitter
  10. My favourites would be the Pyroraptor, White Atrociraptor and the Quetzalcoatlus (tho I wish it was able to bend its neck)
  11. I am very very excited for the Sanctum! That is definitely going next to Diagon Alley, though I will probably wait for it to be sold by other retailers so that I can get it for a slight discount - I was able to get the Medieval Forge for £100 which I was very chuffed about I don't think Professor X will be in this set though because surely if there was a figure in a wheelchair build then Promobricks would have been able to tell? I think the last figure will be either version of Christine Palmer (or Clea if that character is played by a completely different actress). Also Just2Good just put out a video and I always enjoy his content but he seems way WAY too sure that Toby Maguire Spider-Man is going to be in the Sanctum when that's something I think it actually quite unlikely. The important thing at this stage is to keep our expectations in check IMO.
  12. I’d love a new character like Barty Sr and a new small dragon piece would be even better but I think there’s a much more likely exclusive option - battle-damaged Harry with rips on his robes and scratches on his face. Also I think the news about the Ministry of Magic means we’ve got the best chance so far of getting a Deathly Hallows Gringotts. With how scattered the focus is this year I think Lego could feel happy putting out two big sets to represent two of the most distinctive settings and set pieces from the two Deathly Hallows films. They / the company clearly don’t want to dedicate a whole wave to it and honestly, I can see why when they’d just be representing a lot of intense action sequences without the whimsical magical creatures or pleasant party scenes. There are reasons for Lego not to make a flying motorbike, tent, Malloy manor and the battle of Hogwarts and honestly, gringotts and the ministry would probably be the only deathly hallows sets I would be interested in anyway
  13. I really hope there's at least something for Fantastic Beasts - the omission of those and (maybe) Deathly Hallows is the only problem I have with this list The actual sets we're getting sound great tho - am I the only one amazed that's not remakes of Hagrid's Hut, Hogwarts Express or Quidditch here?! I feel like the Great Hall remake last year made us disproportionately worried about remakes when the Lego designers keep giving us new stuff. I'm most excited for the Ministry of Magic - that's an amazing feature in the Harry Potter attraction here in the UK. As someone who's satisfied with the size of their Hogwarts now I've got the Chamber of Secrets, I'm fine with missing the rest of the other sets tho I would like to see the courtyard in official form and will probably pick up the Thestral set, budget allowing.
  14. Wow, this is very exciting! I really like the Gargantos set but I did think it needed something grounded for this tentacled monstrosity to attack - putting some of those tendrils through doors and windows could be really fun. A small part of me always regretted missing the infinity war Sanctum - it would be really cool if this one could be put next to the Diagon Alley buildings Also I guess this is where we’ll finally get Doctor Strange Supreme?!
  15. Had a go at putting all the new Lego dinos in one picture and it really hit home how many we're getting this year, they were really hard to all fit in together! I tried my hardest to get the scale right but I'm very interested to seeing how big the Blue raptor piece is next to the others, as well as the Quetzalcoatlus physically next to the pterodons
  16. Haha sorry, one of my weaknesses is that most of my favourite prehistoric animals are predators, at least until the Pleistocene! At least with the Triceratops and Therazinosaurus that'll mean there's two herbivores this wave, and maybe there'll finally be a Pachycephalosaurus next year
  17. What a great wave for dinosaurs - maybe one of the best for builds too I love the extra size variation that has been introduced for therapods - the Pyroraptor, Atrociraptor and juvenile raptor are all amazing in design but with the Dilophosaurus as well that means a lot of dinos without much posability for play and displays I think that's the Jurassic Park vignette set
  18. Wow I love that Atrociraptor set - that’s two very funky raptor babies I want to add to my collection. That’s gone from a set I had no interest in two a definite buy!
  19. The video the T-Rex is from is a premiere youtube video, set for precisely 14:00 uk time. They've used the t-rex as their thumbnail. I found it just by googling "Lego jurassic world dominion" and setting the tools to "past 24 hours". It seems to be legit from box art as there's a stylised t-rex in the corner in the same format as the other sets I can't wait to see the Pterandon and Quetzalcoatlus next to each other for scale!
  20. Yeah none of these articles are listing the Giga set - there are descriptions of all the other sets just without the pictures, which will presumably be uploaded to the articles at the allotted time for a reveal across all platforms.
  21. Thank you for linking that! I love the look of the blue pterandon, not a fan of what looks to be the car build tho...
  22. Could you link the Quetzalcoatlus 360 video and the pterandon picture please?
  23. I think there'll just be 2 - the 3 brownish atrociraptors all look the same so I think that set will just have one identical to the one in the T-Rex set and then the Ghost Atrociraptor as well Also I guess the 4+ sets just come with a Pterandon and a T-Rex - it makes sense they don't come with any new dinos if they're aimed for younger audiences. It will be interesting to see if there's an interesting new colour for the T-Rex.
  24. There's loads of Dominion toys that have leaked of Dimetrodon - because it will be a new species for this film I think it will have more of a merchandising push than other species such as Parasepholosaurus or Moros Intrepidus - also because there seems to be a much higher toy demand for carnivores than herbivores. So after Therazinosaurus, I think Dimetrodon has the second-highest chance of being a new species included in Lego. My theory is that the Giga set comes from the climax of the film and is some sort of big playset with a vehicle, like the original Indominus Rex set - I can't see Dimetrodon having its own set but I think it could be included here, alongside an old Alan Grant figure Also, there are now extra pictures of the 3 already-leaked sets on #legojurassicworld and the #legoleaks tabs on instagram. The highlights are some sort of cage in the Blue set, another view of the Quetzalcoatlus and a better look at the facade in the Rex set - there seems to be some sort of holding pen for Rexy there
