  1. I would disagree that Rogue One is "completely unsuitable for kids" as although the ending could arguably be quite bleak and traumatic it still teaches them important messages about Besides, it had loads of cool battle and had way more new ship designs than Force Awakens, and the sets themselves have all been pretty solid. I can't see why Lego would think kids wouldn't want Rogue One sets. Hell, I had a younger brother who got the tank set way before he saw the film and still really enjoyed it.
  2. On the other hand they included in a set so I don't see why not. And so Lego doesn't seem to be trying to dissociate themselves from that part of the film. It'd also give us the chance to get
  3. Personally I'm quite happy with Freemakers, and the Yoda Chronicles sets that came before it as they've been an excuse to give us rare minifigures it'd otherwise be hard to get (the Ilthorian Jedi, Dengar) plus some of the ship designs have been pretty cool like the Jedi Scout Fighter or the Eclipse Fighter. Now I'm just holding out for Grabella the Hutt...
  4. It seems more likely that is a mix between a Battlefront vehicle and Revenge of the Sith minifigures rather than based around the Clone Wars stuff.
  5. Honestly, although the Bounty Hunter Battlepack sounds amazing I'm 85% sure it'll only come with generic bounty hunters / gangsters. There has never been a battlepack which includes a named figure and I doubt that'll become a trend now. It's far more likely that it includes background characters who could represent any gangster from that race: a random collection inspired from either the Cantina, Jabba's Palace/Sailbarge or even Freemakers? (from what I've heard it seems like Grabella the Hutt's entourage are quite prominent) In that case I expect figures like another generic Duros/Gran/Gotal from the Cantina, Gommorean Guard or another Weequay guard, maybe one of Grabella's Itkonian henchman, or a Toydarian and whatever else Lego can think of. Here's hoping it has some new moulds!
  6. I'm sorry, could you clarify on that please: which set are you referring to? And are you just speculating?
  7. Ok so I've just found a picture through Google Images which matches some of the minifigure descriptions above (Tooth Fairy Batman was the standout) but could anyone provide a full list of what the rest of them will be? Very excited for this CMF wave now and trying to collect some of these should be pretty fun.
  8. The thing is that really there were very few new or particularly memorable ship designs in The Force Awakens so getting anything new is definitely preferable (at least to me) than getting another OT remake or updated TFA version of an OT ship, especially when there's really not that much left that could be adapted from the film.
  9. That Sailbarge idea for Freemakers honestly sounds pretty awesome, love the range of aliens its possible we could get and I've always had a soft spot for Star Wars gangsters... Just searched Grabella and I would absolutely love to get him in a set, it would be amazing to have another full-sized Hutt to go alongside the most recent Jabba. The other aliens sound sweet as well, I was sold at the prospect of another Toydarian and two Itkorians! Really looking forward to seeing this set.
  10. Thing is he also seems to wear that mask thing as well, which may not be the norm for his species, so getting something that could also represent a normal version of his kind is somewhat unlikely anyway .
  11. Wow, the Y-Wing figures are shaping up to be great! Here's hoping the build doesn't let the minifigures down.
  12. Considering how many new molds were made for rebel trooper helmets this year I'll expect at least one of each to be represented in next year's battlepack as well, which is fairly exciting. At least we'll get a bit more variety than in the Resistance Trooper battlepack. All I hope now is that the different uniforms can be rearranged just to keep each trooper unique...
  13. Unless you count battle droids, then no. It's sort of a tradition that each battlepack comes with four various troop types, although it seems next year they're going to be a bit less generous with how many different battlepacks they produce. Here's hoping the Star Wars Episode 8 wave comes with battlepacks before next next January
  14. These sets look great but I sort of feel this wave is going to be a fair bit smaller than some of the previous ones judging by what we've heard of so far. Two battlepacks, two rogue sets, these 3 £20 sets and a skiff seems slightly underwhelming. Here's hoping there's still exclusives out there still unrevealed (they usually get leaked later). Still miffed about the two missing battlepacks though
  15. Yes, just search for 'Lego Detroit Steel Strikes CM4SCI pictures'. I'd recommend either the Brick Leaks page or Reddit, those were the top results for me.
  16. The Y-Wing sounds cool, haven't got one yet and it seems like the white chewbacca alien thingy is just going to be the random minifigure they throw in as an added draw. Sounds pretty solid to me and I like the sound of the Deathtrooper/stomies battlepack too. Really disappointed it looks like Lego have cut down on battlepacks though... Does Mad Mikkelson's or Forest Whittaker's characters appear anywhere in this wave? I assume the 'good guy in black' is a new minifigure
  17. Thing is Civil War had a much larger wave due to all the superheroes it featured whereas if there is only one spiderman set and this Shocker guy barely appears its unlikely he'll feature in a set with Spidey and Vulture. However there's going to be three films coming out next year, so maybe its possible there's going to be a larger summer wave with more movie-based sets for Spiderman: Homecoming and (please TLG!) Thor Ragnarok. Here's hoping for good GOTG sets though!
  18. There doesn't seem to be any information on them yet, but does anyone know if we'll get two non-R1 battlepacks this wave? Just wondering as TLG have produced four battlepacks every years since 2014 and its always nice to see more troop variations (although hopefully Lego have exhausted their options for clone variants by now).
